NerdyGayBoy 204
I've thought about things like this way more than I want to admit. PantersPeeNuts and j2319 1 1 Quote Link to comment
j2319 542
Dang missed my calling. As a bedwetter into adulthood I never thought about being an astronaut casue I figured, like the military, they would not accept bedwetters into the program. However, here it looks like being a bedwetter is a plus for astronaut. 🤣 Quote Link to comment
nappypants 1,240
It’s useful that they have nappies on hand to deal with this issue, anyway! I think I did read about an astronaut admitting they wore them to sleep because of the hassle of getting up to use the toilet, but didn’t know it was commonplace to do so… unlike the spacewalk and launch where it’s obvious there’s no alternative to having toilet facilities in your pants, it’s probably not one that people think to ask about! OldWetGuy 829
I have thought about this before, and remember that Alan Shepard had to use his pants for a urinal back before anyone thought about diapers. I have also known for years that I could get much better sleep when padded and not waking up during the night to pee. nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment

I hadn't thought of doing that. I wake up and go pee once or twice a night, which the urologist tells me is normal for my age. While I mostly go to sleep again rather quickly, now I wonder how much more rested I would feel if I hadn't had to bother getting up, and used a diaper instead. Maybe I'll give it a try. nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment

Try it and you won't go back! There are few things better than relieving yourself in the comfort of your nice warm bed, without the disturbance of getting up. OldWetGuy 1 Quote Link to comment

PantersPeeNuts 126
I have to agree with getting "in the groove". I'm mostly a pantswetter, but at various times in the past (before I got married) I embraced bedwetting, thanks to a well-protected mattress and easy access to laundry facilities. I never did it diapered, or while asleep, and that was never my goal. But I got to the point that I could wake up with a full bladder, and without moving a muscle, completely pee, soaking my underwear, pajamas, and bedding, and then immediately fall back asleep. It's a very particular sensation to give yourself permission let go when you're only like 90% awake, but it's kinda magical. 🙂 And then I would have such incredible dreams. Yes, AFTER I wet the bed. (I've written about that before on this site.) Usually I dreamed I was waking up in a wet bed in a not-so-friendly environment, and had to deal with it. But sometimes I would dream I was swimming, or I was in space wearing a diaper (I'm not an astronaut, but my subconscious doesn't know that!), and sometimes in the dream I would just realize I was wearing wet pants, usually because I peed in them, sometimes not. But always the dreams were very vivid. -PPN OldWetGuy and nappypants 2 Quote Link to comment
