"Yes, from my studies I've concluded that to prevent possibly fatal distractions such as bodily urges or wet clothing these will be a necessity for our heroes."

Monie is on the floor, kneeling almost. Her face is buried behind her hands, and you can hear her cries. The dragonstone drops to the floor, cracking the pavement a bit. "Ai, for you. I must rewrite this horrid reality."

Thanks for the responses! I took a more "serious" direction with the commander, it wouldn't feel right having them be perverted or comedic at least until we get to a seasonal tempest where it would ""feel"" more like the right thing to do or say.

After checking in with your units a bit, you hear the person behind the statue speak to her allies. Everyone around you picks themselves up a little and draws their weapons. 

"It's alright to be afraid. It is the natural response of coming into contact with that you cannot defeat. Hide, quiver, run. Do what you can to stay alive. For I, the angel from Rhina will show you no mercy. Now go." You hear her call out to you. After she says this you hear a loud finger snap. "Allow me to show you the light of the afterlife, it's your reward as lowly thieves!"

The group of the Lance Fighter, Sword Fighter, and Red Mage rush in towards your group.

The three enemies rush around the corner, draw their weapons and attack. They strike efficiently, giving you as little time to prepare as possible. The Lance Fighter runs in first, she swipes with the lance at Nyrtale, and he takes 5 damage. After her first attack she stabs forwards, dealing another 5 damage. Linasi aims her staff at the Lance Fighter, but as she's about to fire she quickly grabs at her crotch and bounces up. The shot flies past the target, hitting the wall. Hira cleans off her Festive Santoku and begins running it across her left arm. It reaches her wrist where she then thrusts it into. Her red blood splatters out onto the floor as she quickly removes the knife from her veins. Hira then throws it forwards into the Sword Fighter. The malicious red blade spins and slices through him. He drops the sword and falls to the ground as he takes 46 damage. Hira then clutches her neck as she takes 32 damage. Mare-Nave (90%) walks calmly towards the Red Mage, quickly striking him over the head with the weapon, dealing 24 damage. The Red Mage falls to the ground instantly after being attacked. Nyrtale then attacks the Lance Fighter who hit him. He twirls the staff and points it towards the target. The red burst of energy is emitted, and the Lance Fighter takes 5 damage. She then kneels down, clutching her breastplate as she takes another 10 damage. Behind the wall you hear a small glittery sound as Monie appears from behind it. She points down, tears still running down her face. Then attacks with Reality Surge, the red, blue, and green blast flies out into the Lance Fighter, dealing 27 damage.
