アイミ 23
You stand up, slowly arising from the floor. As you look around you see long stone hallways lit by blue flames. This place feels vaguely familiar, but you can't exactly remember how. You decide to wander around this place, walking through the cobbled halls. A distant sound of running water fills your ears as you continue onwards. Walking down a nearby flight of stairs the sounds grow louder. At the bottom of these stairs is a room. This room has a large birdbath in the center, the walls are lined with mahogany bookshelves, and behind the central birdbath is a small woman. She walks towards you, bowing. "Welcome back my master." She says, looking back up straight. "This is your heirloom, the Rain Abyss. Now, allow me to remind you how it works. Last time you were here you could barely walk on your own, so I doubt you remember." She explains. "This right here," she says touching the birdbath. "This is your portal to another realm. A realm of countless heroes, endless rain, and infinite possibilities. Master, you are the only one capable of entering that world from here, as well as the only one who can draw other heroes into it. The heroes you draw in are people from all different realities and times. Now then. Allow me to explain what goes on when you enter there. Once you enter the Rain Abyss you will be capable of travelling to different places with a small group of your collected heroes. Your goal is to defeat whatever you find lurking within there to gather Abyss Points. Abyss Points are a valuable resource, capable of crafting new weapons, granting new skills, or summoning new heroes. That covers the basic attributes of the Rain Abyss itself, but there's one last thing I need to explain. The people you summon, these people will be your only way to protect yourself in the Rain Abyss for you are nothing but a tactician. Each person you gather has multiple "Slots" so to speak which you can use and change. These slots come in many different forms; Weapon Slots, Skill Slots A, B, C, and S, and Passive Slots A, B, and C. Weapons are their basic form of combat, being used to attack foes. Weapons have durability however, so when one breaks you will have to switch it out. Skills are heroes' way of attacking, supporting, and defending other than with their weapons. Each skill has its own attributes, so look over them carefully. And Passives are effects that activate all on their own. Weapons, Skills, and Passives all come in two main types; Personal, and Inheritable. Personal ones cannot be given to other characters, while Inheritables can be given to others when you sacrifice a hero. The last thing to mention about these are how to obtain them. Weapons, Skills, and Passives can be bought for Abyss Points after each battle. Weapons will have to be rebought every so often to keep using them, but Skills and Passives are one-time buys." She explains. "Now, why don't you go in?" You dip your head into the water, and then you suddenly begin to fall slowly. Eventually you land, emerging in a ruined castle hall. Through the broken ceiling you can see a tall tower in the distance. On a table next to you is an ornate book, and three small crystal looking devices. The crystal is a deep grey, surrounded in gold carvings, and the book has the title "Summoning and Stats". You begin to read through the book. "People found in the Rain Abyss have five different statistics that allow you to help choose who to bring along with you on missions. Hp determines the total amount of damage a character can sustain before dying. Atk determines the amount of damage dealt with weapons. Spd determines turn order, and if a character has five more spd than their target when attacking, they attack twice. Def determines how much damage is taken from physical weapons. And Res determines how much damage is taken from magical weapons. Characters will level up as they defeat foes, gaining additions to their stats. To summon a hero, just pick up a summoning stone, choose a focus banner of heroes, whisper either "Red", "Blue", "Green" or "Grey", and then throw it forwards. As the crystal smashes a hero will appear. Focus banners change what characters can or will appear, as well as having a select set of heroes with much higher rates of being picked. The hero will have a corresponding weapon type to the chosen color. Red weapons beat Green, Green beat Blue, and Blue beat Red, with Grey weapons remaining neutral. If a character has a weapon type advantage over another, they will deal an extra 1.5x damage. However, they will deal 1.5x less damage if they have a weapon type disadvantage." 「You pick up the three summoning stones, and begin to throw them. What colors will you pick for each? Respond with a choice for all three. The first focus banner has been predecided.」 「Voting Period ends on November 6th」 Quote Link to comment

アイミ 23
A quick update. While I am continuing, I unfortunately got a bit sidetracked via another user of this site "asking" (It was practically a demand) to add their characters to the game. If you would like to add a few OCs to the game I personally don't mind. However I do have a few rules in doing so. - Please just ask me in DMs. - Make sure you respond to me in a timely manner so that the writing won't have to be put on hold. A few other things: - If you add your character to the game, you relinquish all authority of them to me and the players of the game, allowing us to use them how we see fit. - Your character must be an original one, I am not creating a fanfiction, so I would prefer to keep away from using licensed media. - You must be the sole owner of the character, or have permission from all shareholders of the character. I would like to have full permission to use these characters, so this would be nice for everyone involved. These are the rules I am asking you follow so you don't waste my, your, and the reader's time. Thank you. The next chapter should be out tomorrow. Sorry for taking so long. Quote Link to comment
アイミ 23
Chapter 1 You grip the summoning stones, whispering your color of choice into them. They glow in a faint grey light, shimmering and sparkling from the faint sunlight peering into the room through the ruined ceiling. You throw one of these stones into the wall, creating a loud shattering sound. A bright flash of pale blue light blinds you, and you hear the sounds of footsteps walking towards you. As the light fades you look up, ahead of you stands a girl, she turns her head towards you, flicking her bright blonde hair behind her. This person wears a short white dress with gold accents creating many intricate patterns. On her feet are brown sandals which have straps reaching up towards her thighs, and in her hand is a long, silver staff. “As the princess of Neroi, I may not be able to fight, but this staff I carry can heal the wounded. I’m also a bit of a master when it comes to intercountry diplomacy. You can count on me to help you out.” She says before walking towards your side. After bringing forth a hero to aid you, you grip the next summoning stone. Like with the previous stone, you throw it into the wall, creating an even brighter flash of light. This flash of light unlike the previous, glows in a bright pink color, and as it fades you see your next helper. Through the light walks out a shorter man, he has long pale blue hair that sways down by his knees. He wears a bright red garb with silver linings. In his hand is a red lantern, and on his back, behind the cape is a staff. "I am here to bring forth lore of our bountiful harvests of past, while being the harbinger of the coming storm. By your side, I will guide us to great knowledge of the season." He exclaims as he joins you and the other staff-wielder. You pick out the last summoning stone, tossing it up a little before grabbing it and hurling it into the wall. It shatters just like the last two, this time conjuring a bright gold light. It takes a while to dissipate, but as it does you see your last hero for now. A short girl walks forth from the light. She carries a pale grey stone in her right hand, and wears a short blue skirt with a light brown blazer. Her long coral-like brown hair swings down to her waist, with a long white ribbon tying it up. Her white shoes clank against the stone floor. “Is this it? Have I finally found a way into her world? Tell me stranger, is Ai around?” She asks excitedly, looking around the near empty hall. You look back at your new team members. These three are your hope of completing whatever trials are ahead. In your notebook you begin writing down the information of the people you summoned into the world. After you finish writing down what you learned about the people in your team you hear the voice of the helpful servant ring in your head. "Hello again master, I see you have gotten yourself some allies to help you in the Rain Abyss. Now let me tell you where you are going to be needing them. Down the left corridor will be a room filled with many arching gateways. Travelling through these gateways will bring you to the bulk of the Rain Abyss, with the realms you find yourself in being called 'Tempests'. These Tempests are realms for you to gain Abyss Points, train your allies, and gather loot. Travelling into a Tempest will lead you to a hostile realm, with each Tempest having between one and seven of these, each being called a Trial. The more Tempests and Trials you complete, the more you will gain, and the more Tempests will open. Good luck master." You walk through the corridor, entering a room with thousands of gateways, each of them a dark black but one. You walk through this gateway, and a bright flash of light blinds you as you walk into a flowery meadow. 「Chapter Review:」 「Units gained:」 「Linasi: Princess of Neroi (4s Staff)」 「Nyrtale: Harvest Lorekeeper (5s Staff)」 「Monie: Otherworldly Intelligence (5s Grey Dragon)」 「Entered:」 「Tutorial」 「Trial 1」 「Basics」 【https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PNUVQe1iuJFW9WZCuEt6WXZY6s-iCq5FymGGIqULKKM/edit#gid=0】 【Character Information Sheets: ^】 Chapter 1.1 You look around a little to see three groups of people, each wielding weapons and clad in armour. アイミ 23
Chapter 1.2 You command the group into the formation you devised. Monie looks back towards you. "What's on your mind?" She asks as you order her to take the lead. She clutches her pale grey stone and it crackles with electricity. Linasi moves in behind her. "Who should I help?" She asks, twirling her staff as she steps behind Monie. Lastly, Nyrtale walks into formation last. "So this is where I go." He mutters to himself as he gets into position, staff at the ready. The group sets off towards the first foe. They chatter amongst themselves, going over the plan again before arriving. "I'll attempt to reason first. But could you defend us if that fails?" Linasi asks Monie, her voice quivering a little. "Of course. I'll protect you two." Monie replies, reasuring Linasi. "Ok, I'm ready." Linasi says to herself. They approach the foe. He's donned in black armour with red painting. His helmet bearing a plume of red feathers, forming a long mohawk down it. He picks up his shield, grips his sword and stands his ground. "Excuse me, but we really would rather not fight you. If you could please allow us to pass, you will be spared." Linasi attempts to reason. But the creature turns its head and charges forwards. A bright streak of light appears, and after it dissipates you can see your units prepare to battle against the foe. As this happens, you hear a familiar voice in your head. "Hello Master, it appears you have entered combat. However, do not fear. Your heroes will fight without you ever lifting a finger. They will always use their abilities at the soonest chance, just like the foes of this world, and they will attack whoever they are most suited to attack. All you have to do when commanding them is choose what weapon they should wield while fighting, and what weapon to switch to if it breaks. Be sure to watch their inventories closely." 「VS Sword Knight.」 「Turn Order:」 Sword Knight (Level 6) Monie: Otherworldly Intelligence (Level 1) Linasi: Princess of Neroi (Level 1) Nyrtale: Harvest Lorekeeper (Level 1) Sword Knight (Level 6) Spoiler Shortened notes: Sword Knight attacked Monie with Iron Sword: Dealt 10 damage Monie counter-attacked with Reality Surge: Dealt 24 damage. She clutches the stone, and a flash of light radiates from her. As the light fades, she spins and rises into the air, hovering a foot above the floor. As you look up you can see beneath her short skirt very clearly, showing you her light pink panties. The Sword Knight rushes forwards, slicing at Monie. "Ahh!" She yells as the sword connects, slicing through her leg. The attack connects, dealing 10 damage. Monie puts her hand to her face, her first two fingers pointing up the the bright blue sky. She lowers her hand, pointing it almost like a gun towards her foe. "Hyah!" She yells as a bolt of red, green, and blue energy fires from her fingers. The strike hits the Sword Knight, dealing 24 damage. Monie then points her fingers at the foe, attacking back on her turn. She fires another bolt from Reality Surge, connecting and dealing 24 damage. He falls to the ground, disappearing. Monie descends, her panties entirely unhidden as she falls. As she touches the ground she flicks her hair back, and turns towards the group. "Great job protecting us Monie!" Linasi cheers. "Thank you, I got a bit damaged though." She replies. "I believe there are arts that I or Linasi could learn to remedy that." Nyrtale responds. He then looks towards you. "Don't be afraid to use either I or Linasi in combat. Although we cannot heal yet, we can help with the damage output." 「Levels:」 EXP: Monie: 130 Linasi: 10 Nyrtale: 10 Monie: Level increased to 2.
