Wet seat on train

Not much to say about this, when I got on the train this evening the wet patch next to me could have been simply due to the wet weather. But a quick sniff of my hand when I inadvertently placed it on the seat quickly proved it was nothing so innocent.

Most do, unless...

It's broken, or the waste tank's full (which is more likely to happen later in the day, which is also when people are more likely to have been drinking!), or

Someone's hiding in there to try and get away with buying a ticket, or

The train's so busy that they can't actually get to it

I definitely saw and heard the consequences of the last one last weekend!

Some also don't have toilets, for example the London Underground ones don't.

I can just imagine sitting there with people all around while trying to not make your situation obvious but feeling yourself leak…..the embarrassment 😰
