1) When you are bursting, do you squirm and wriggle? (Can you pretend to be calm without moving?) I do tend to squirm and wiggle around a bit but I can stay still if I try hard. I feel it's best to try not to move around too much when I am desperate but sometimes you just squirm as a result of nervous behavior I suppose, trying to get comfortable even though it's not going to actually do anything.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch? Yes, grabbing is more of a nervous habit than anything I think.

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?) I try to not be obvious but most can tell I'm agitated.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge? After being at work for six or seven hours without a bathroom and all of my female coworkers pretty much stampeded towards the bathroom the moment it was available.

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee? Not really.

6) Please select all of the following (1 to 3) that apply.

  1. You have a small or weak bladder.
  2. You have a weak sphincter muscle.
  3. Your pee spurts very vigorously, especially when you are bursting.

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee? No, being frantic is solely from having a very full bladder.

1) When you are bursting, do you squirm and wriggle? (Can you pretend to be calm without moving?)

Yes, a little, more as part of nervousness than anything else.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

Yes. I rarely grab myself. Mostly when I'm so nervous that I do it without knowing, as an instinct to "prevent peeing". Mostly in case of sudden event that cause fear or extreme nervousness. Not that helps much.

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?)

Yes, eventually people notice. I can't hide it when I'm really desperate. I'm too nervous.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

Yes, almost daily.

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

Yes, when I'm somewhere where I don't wont other people to notice my wet crotch. Usually that happens when I'm not wearing incontinence pad or wear pants that show wetness very quickly. I leak very often, so I'm used to that and most of the time wear incontinence pads, but with some pants I can't wear them, if I don't want that to be noticeable.

  2. You have a weak sphincter muscle.
  3. Your pee spurts very vigorously, especially when you are bursting.

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee?

Definitely, because I know I won't be able to hold it very long and leaking and wetting is inevitable in short span of time.

1. I can stay still at first, but eventually I will start squirming and it will be harder to be subtle about my urge.

2. For a little while, but if I have been holding for a while or have a strong urge, I will inevitably put my hands in my crotch, I can’t avoid it.

3. Yes, I was very desperate waiting in line one time and a lady noticed it. She let me cut in front of her. It was a little embarrassing to know that it was so obvious I was about to pee myself, but at the same time I was too shy to ask to cut, so I’m glad she let me.

4. I frequently rush to the bathroom. It can happen because of my incontinence, but also if I’ve been holding for a while at work, once I get a break I immediately hurry to the bathrooms.

5. I do, because of my incontinence I leak several times a week. If my bladder is filling up I get nervous that I’ll leak and that my pull-ups or pads won’t absorb it. That only happens if I leak a lot, which doesn’t happen often.

6. All three, I can’t hold it for long once I get to that stage of desperation, and I’ll need a toilet in the next couple of minutes.

1) Not really.  I've never been much of a squirmer or anything.  I'm usually just having trouble standing and walking.

2) Yes, holding doesn't do much for me.  I will usually grab out of arousal though.

3) Not sure, I hope not!

4) Yes definitely.  Especially just getting hope after a long drive

5) Leaking not so much, but just being desperate in public yes as well as the threat of not making it and having an accident.

6) Please select all of the following (1 to 3) that apply.

  1. Definitely not
  2. No clue lol
  3. It just shoots out when its time.  Usually a powerful stream.

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee? No clue lol

I do squirm and wriggle ALOT if I am sitting. If I am standing I do a lot of bouncing of one leg. Sometimes I pace when getting nervous about it. Being still is not an option or I’ll pee on spot.

I can definitely hold without grabbing but I normally will have to squeeze my legs together or cross them because it’s a close 2nd to not grabbing.

Yes people do notice. The bouncing and leg crossing is a dead give away because it’s excessive and frequent as opposed to being natural. Plus the sounds I make like sighing and sometimes pouting also don’t help.

The front door pee pee dance occurs for me often where I have to run to the bathroom once I am home. Very little running in public. And I only have anxiety about leaking at home because that’s the only place it happens.

For some reason anxiety really sets in when I am driving. It’s like a panic because there is no bathroom near oftentimes and I don’t know if I can make it. This happens very very often.

I don’t consider any part weak. I am pretty good at holding and not leaking as long as I keep moving and am not at home.

@Mary127

If you don't put your hands in your crotch, what happens to you?
Do you feel an intense stimulation, as if pee is thrusting your crotch from inside your bladder?

"I do squirm and wriggle ALOT if I am sitting. If I am standing I do a lot of bouncing of one leg. Sometimes I pace when getting nervous about it. Being still is not an option or I’ll pee on spot."

I find one option when standing is to cross one leg over the other leg and sort of lean up against something with your back or your butt so that you are not moving around as much.

That was what I thought was absurd when I was at my job for hours a day and I was standing there with my legs sort of crossed and leaning on them and sort of looking pouty like I wanted to go somewhere. I don't know people knew I had to pee but I think that they knew that something was on my mind that my mind was elsewhere like I was very eager to get out of there.

My legs are super squirmy. If I'm bursting, I can pretend, but only in brief seconds before the pee feels ready to pour out and I need to squeeze myself.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

Not for long. If I'm bursting, I'm at the point where any misapplied pressure would cause me to leak.

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?)

Not unintentionally, no, since I usually only have desperation in private.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

Yep, once I get to the door or through the door, I'm crossing legs as my penis is ready to pee into the toilet.

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

I look forward to the leaks because I enjoy the struggle of trying to keep my bladder in check with all the fluids I may consume.

Without a doubt, when you have been struggling to hold your pee for so long, eventually the spurts are erratic because they are fighting with you to come out. My wet spots can range from golf ball sized to full on wetting depending on how the holding has gone over the past hour or so.

Yes a lot! More than the average person I would think. Its probably a sensory thing for me (I have ASD). Being calm depends on how full I am. Once I become desperate enough I let it be known that I have to GO!

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

For awhile but once I feel a leak waiting at the tip of my peehole I am holding on for dear life!!

Haven't been in a situation like that yet thankfully...

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

Yess all the time!

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

I have anxiety regularly so if I were ever trapped in an unplanned public predicament my anxiety would probably get so bad I would end up wetting myself in no time!

Pretty sure my bladder is a bit weaker than average (will be way worse when I start HRT) but definitely 3!! I spurt like crazy until its big enough to not be able to stop!

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee?

Definitely!

That’s a good way to describe it. Putting my hands in my crotch might alleviate that feeling for a few seconds, but it’s a mental benefit than a physical one

I have additional questions, especially for who can't stay still (who can't stop moving).

1.1)Does staying still make you more desperate or frantic?

1.2)Doesn't the jolting when you sqirm, wriggle, or humping make your urge worse?

I squirm a lot even when I'm not about to wet myself. Usually just a lot of weight shifting and walking around

Absolutely

I feel like squirming is a death trap- if I start squirming I can't go back to not squirming. So maybe (?)

For a large portion of desperation yes- only at the very last stages that its unavoidable. My hands always go for my crotch though

I've been noticed many times

Yes but only because I'm bursting so I think thats pretty natural? I know when I was a kid I used to have to run to the bathroom every time but not since a while ago do I have to rush every time

Even though I've peed myself many times and often do it on purpose, at the moment of leaking I get flooded with anxiety even though I can shrug it off the next day

3. Honestly sometimes yes sometimes no

1) When you are bursting, do you squirm and wriggle? (Can you pretend to be calm without moving?)

When I'm bursting, I do squirm and wriggle.  I experience the cause as discomfort.  Somewhere I read it helps move blood to the pelvic-floor muscles.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

When I'm bursting, I can hold my pee just as well without grabbing my crotch.

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?)

People around me easily noticed that I'm bursting.  They noticed because I can't avoid pee-pee dancing.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

I often rush to the bathroom because the urge suddenly became very strong.

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

When I was younger I had a very strong anxiety about dribbling, squirting and wetting.  My parents acted like leaking was worse than death.  Since I've learned that "Everyone wets sometime." -- Big Girl Stacy, and I wear diapers 24/7, I've become largely unconcerned.

6) Please select all of the following (1 to 3) that apply.

  1. You have a small or weak bladder. --  I have a small bladder that contracts too strongly.  Consequently, it often pushes urine through my urinary sphincter muscle.
  2. You have a weak sphincter muscle.  -- Said the other way around, my urinary sphincter muscle is too weak to hold against my bladder contractions.  From either perspective, this is called OAB (over active bladder).
  3. Your pee spurts very vigorously, especially when you are bursting. -- As I approach flooding, I dribble, spurt and spurt with increasing frequency.  When I didn't wear a diaper the first two spurting clusters usually did not show (3 of 4 spurts per 10-second cluster with 3 minutes between clusters).  The third cluster would soak through my clothing.  In those days I hid Christmas-decoration-walk accidents by wearing rain or snow clothing.

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee?  Items 1 through 3 certainly contributed to my anxiety.  Discomfort seems to contribute more to my pee-pee dancing.

1) When you are bursting, do you squirm and wriggle? (Can you pretend to be calm without moving?)

Yes, I squirm a lot; I try to avoid getting this desperate in public as much as possible, because I'm afraid of underestimating my holding abilities lol. I also tend to fidget a lot and have really bad anxiety in general so sometimes movement is the only thing that *will* keep me calm. I can't stop moving all together, but I would likely try to make the movements more subtle so as not to draw attention.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

Yes, but I usually have to cross one leg over the other or have my thighs pressed together. The act of separating my legs would make it so I couldn't hold anymore.

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?)

I try not to make this obvious. Unless I'm commiserating with someone (and even then sometimes I won't), I always feel guilty for having to go and struggle to voice it, and questions or statements like, "you can hold it just a bit longer" make me second guess myself on how badly I need to go and like I'm overreacting and being dramatic. I will 100% avoid mentioning it out loud and if someone were to notice and ask me, I'd downplay it or reply jokingly. If someone were to ask me and were being concerned, I'd be embarrassed in the moment but likely feel a different way about it later.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

Yes. Idk why I'm so scared of potentially wetting myself in public, despite the fact that I go out of my way to ensure this doesn't happen, despite the fact that it's never been an issue for me. I guess I'm worried about being out of control. (Which makes it appealing in fantasies? Idk. Kinks can be psychologically confusing sometimes lmao).

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

Yes, especially if there is like...idk how to describe it other than like a strong pulse/jolt/pressure against the release point?

6) Please select all of the following (1 to 3) that apply.

You have a small or weak bladder.
You have a weak sphincter muscle.
Your pee spurts very vigorously, especially when you are bursting.
Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee?

None of these do apply to me lol. But I can see how they might for others.

1) When you are bursting, do you squirm and wriggle? (Can you pretend to be calm without moving?)

I get pretty fidgety but not much squirming. Usually just a lot of clenching and unclenching my thighs.

2) When you are bursting, can you hold your pee without grabbing your crotch?

Yes! Grabbing doesn't do much for me anyway, so it's all me and my thigh muscles holding it together

3) Has anyone around you ever noticed that you are bursting? (If so, were you desperate because of the urge at the time?)

Not that I know of. Or if they have they've never said anything about it.

4) Do you ever rush to the bathroom because of the urge?

Oh yeah. I know my limits pretty well and when it gets to a certain point I gotta hustle or there will be a mess to clean.

5) When you are bursting, do you have strong anxiety about leaking your pee?

No  my bladder is pretty strong I don't leak often. I wish I would leak more though because I love the way it feels.

6) Please select all of the following (1 to 3) that apply.

I have a small bladder I can't hold much in it but it's strong. I'll get desperate from not a lot of pee but it takes A LOT for me to burst.

Do you think these(1 to 3) have anything to do with you being frantic when you are bursting to pee?

Small bladder is definitely a factor. I can't fit much liquid in there so I get desperate easily.
