female Isn't it strange how... non-sexual general discussion is here?

Recommended Posts

Like you I'm sometimes surprised but it's a very wide fetish in itself.  The fact that I'm in no way interested in an account or video that is only a wetting, or even into wetting at all, because the point for me is why their bladder was that full - just shows how wide ranging and differing our tastes are.  It's a fetish with sub-categories!

I'm not into non-consensual stuff IRL but I don't mind it  implied in fantasy.  There's often a backlash from users who feel that enjoying somebody being desperate is borderline.  Sometimes I look at posts and wonder why people are here at all, which I have no right to think really, especially and even when they're protesting about lack of toilets, people needing to wait. I think my conclusions are a/ agree to differ and b/ some people have a really soft kink (or I have a hard kink, depending how you look at it)  I also try to bear in mind that as much as I like things that turn other users here off, so it is true that I see things here that do nothing for me at all, despite them qualifying every but as much as things I'm into to be part of this site and community.  Like I said, wide ranging!

I'm not one for telling everybody I masturbated though!  If I post that something was really hot or right up my street, I'm certainly implying it!

I guess the mods get rid of a lot of “over the top” stuff, and the tone is generally about right… if it was very different in that way it would probably scare off a lot of (especially female) posters.

It’s not at the other extreme, either, like another ABDL forum I used to post on where anything remotely sexual was shot down in flames by those in the “innocent” AB and medically incontinent camps.

Yeah I find this really interesting too. I joined another site which concentrated on fetish content and it was definitely a place people were very overtly sexual. The conversation was almost entirely about sex, with pee being seen as simply a topic related to getting off.

This site is far more analytical - I wonder if many of us end up here to figure out why we like what we like, rather than just as a place to share explicit content.

My only slight frustration is that sometimes I would like people to be just a little more overt without being crass if that makes any sense? It seems hard to find somewhere that has the right balance between acknowledging that most (not all) of us are sexually driven, but at the same time I don’t want to see some guy posting pictures of his dick and telling all the female members how he wants them to perform for him. Like be horny by all means, but also be respectful you know?

I also saw the comment your refering to.

I must admit I just thought of it as crude. The chatroom equivalent of the builders wolf whistle.

Maybe this is my asexuality coming through.

I've been very happy to share my wet adventures with you all. I've been hoping to help fulfill some peoples fantasies.

I'm enjoying the recognition I've received for my daring nature.

Do I actually want to read that someone rubbed one out watching one of my vids. Probably not, although it would be partly flattering, I suppose it would depend on the actual words used

The closest I get, to suggesting the material posted could be appealing to some. Is by signing off saying that I hope people enjoyed my post/vid/image.

Equally I don't think that someone else would want to hear that I was turning Japanese after reading/watching one of their posts.

You can find titillating imagery and provocative prose on a lot of different websites, but only here can you find detailed essays on the impact of the Industrial Revolution on the average bladder size, and other such academic insight. Granted that's mostly @DesperateJill at work; if there was an Omorashi University she would surely be the Dean. Or Archchancellor, if we're using Discworld Unseen University as a template.

Thinking about it though, omorashi / omutsu naturally gravitates toward a scientific / technical / engineering mindset, because of the importance of numbers; bladder capacity, water consumption, kidney processing rates over time, absorption speeds of pull ups / diapers, and so on and so forth.

In it's first few years this site devoted significant space to celebrating the fetish's contribution to animation, art and storytelling.  (Gaming was not shut out.  But few omorashi games existed.)   To a large extent Japanese anime and manga contributed to bringing this fetish out of the closet.  Therefore, the anglicized Japanese labels remaining on some general topic headings.  While not anti-sexual, sexuality had to share space with omorashi's non-sexual connections (like mild cosplay and maido).  Nude images were sometimes taken down.

I would definitely accept such a post, if I were wealthy there would be a department of omorashi studies in every college in America to study academic subjects related to women needing to go to the bathroom, it's really a field that hasn't gotten any attention when it's surprising seeing as we all use the bathroom multiple times a day.

"someone needs to make that meme where it's like the world being held up by some guy and the world is omorashi.org and the guy is desperatejill and biku"

Actually minus the blue hair and furry tail the omorashi.org image of that woman holding herself actually does look a lot like me when I am desperate and the way that I hold myself!

I can picture it now.

Professor: Good morning class. In today's lesson we'll be interviewing several women from different professions who often need to hold their urine for extended periods. They'll explain why they often can't relive themselves and describe their struggles to make it through the day. Also, we've asked that they all arrive with full bladders so they can demonstrate how they manage to work despite it, as well as their different techniques for holding it in. Ladies, how are you feeling today?

Women: We need to pee, next question.

As far as this topic is concerned, I don't like to picture other men pleasuring themselves and find what they're doing with what they find here to be unnecessary information. If the topic of discussion is masturbation it's one thing, but if I'm enjoying a video of a woman squirming I don't need to be thinking about how many other dudes are beating it to the same thing. Off topic but I never understood why so many seemingly straight men enjoy watching another man have sex with a woman or especially receive oral from her from a non POV point of view. For the record I still really enjoy regular sex with women without any omo involved, I just don't like watching other men get what I want.

I would be a fun class to teach and I wouldn't allow any bathroom breaks during it either! But it really is interesting because although I realize you meant this humorously it's true that there hasn't really been much academic study of how bathroom access affects women or how lack of a bathroom at work affects women. I would love to see somebody write a thesis on it. The closest I'm going to guess though is my memoir Woman Desperately Seeking Toilet in Times of Covid!

As a lesbian I never understood this either. To me nothing is a bigger turn off than to see men having sex with a woman or sucking a man's penis as that is totally not my interest at all and sent straight men would presumably be similar oriented to lesbians I don't understand why a man would want to see another man getting his Dick sucked or something like that. I mean I guess the main thing is that he probably pictures that he is the guy getting sucked off by the woman and relates to the person in the video, but I still don't know why somebody would want to see something like that.

And as a lesbian it's also a weird thing to think that a lot of straight men are actually reading my accounts of my desperation and jerking off to it.

EXACTLY! I can get off on a girl sucking a dildo in a POV shot because in that case I can imagine myself being that guy, but I cannot for the life of me understand why any straight man likes seeing another man in full view getting sucked off.

That last part makes me wonder if anyone has pleasured themselves to anything I've written here... I guess just think of it as you bringing joy to the world!

I like female desperation videos and lesbians videos cause I can imagine myself as the woman but guys getting sucked off would ruin a video for me pretty fast.

True, as a writer I wouldn't share my accounts of my own desperate experiences in places like this and in my blog if I didn't want people to enjoy reading them but there is still a weird feeling when you are thinking you are suffering incredible bladder pain all day and that people are sitting there reading that while you are in bladder agony and getting off on it. It's a strangely self-conscious feeling sometimes.

Definitely agreed on that, I don't like watching hetero porn for that reason. I much prefer lesbian or trans porn myself. For regular pornos I tend to skip to the lesbian/threesome scenes and ignore the rest.

I'm actually kinda happy that this forum is this way because I'm asexual everything too explicit kinda makes me cringe (sidenote: asexuality and fetishes can coexist, which made it much harder for me to realize that I am one).

Obviously the internet should not pander to weirdoes like me, but it does make this forum a much nicer place for me.

I'm very much not asexual, but I 120% agree with you. I HATE explicit stuff as well. I actually think that many people have it this way. That's why this forum is unique. I have been enjoying this fetish for just short of 20 years, this is the only forum where I am active, seems like the explicit tone/vibe of many forums, scares away people with just a little brain.
No other places seem to have people actually wanting to discuss topics that is discussed here.

Technically speaking, omorashi is a softcore fetish in that it doesn't involve an explicitly sexual component. Furthermore, I've observed a lot of people into omo aren't necessarily into more "hardcore" sex stuff, which could be the reason for a milder General Discussion. Personally, I think it's nice and kind of sweet how the community at large is fairly tame...plus, it probably allows people to get comfortable here faster, y'know?

I have noticed this too and from reading around here it seems like the majority of people into this fetish preferred the actual omorashi to sex or don't desire sex that doesn't involve omorashi. But I do think that a lot of people who are into this particular fetish aren't really into actual sexual intercourse as much, myself included. Pretty much all of my sexual fantasies involve tickle torture, bladder holding and embarrassing nudity but none actual sex. I never or very rarely actually fantasize about having actual intercourse with a partner and am turned off by most extreme stuff.

People who take a derogatory view of the fetish might say that maybe it's from a Freudian perspective never getting beyond the potty training stage, that there is something about holding in bodily fluids or controlling bodily fluids or wearing diapers or all these other things are wetting yourself where you don't want to really have more adult more mature kind of sexual interaction.

I know omorashi technically is about wetting full bladder etc. But I've experienced the opposite, many of the forums/chatrooms I've come across were more hardcore. I had a hard time finding places where the majority was not into S/M and with wetting kind of on the side, or really hardcore watersports/pissing.

So many times did I try to start a topic about holding it or wetting, where I was only met with "are you playing with your self?" "what are you wearing?" (most often by other guys), "Would you like to drink ... " "I don't care if you are a guy or a girl would you like me to .... all over you?", that's only the mild stuff.

Everything was turned in to be about sex.

But I guess I came across the wrong places..😛

I have experienced this as well, I think most of the pee themed forums out there for this particular fetish focus more on watersports and the actual peeing, I think the people who are into the holding are a minority within an already minority community. That's why I find this board to be the best one and the only one I now currently readily participate on because here the focus really is on holding and things of that nature rather than hard-core watersports or anything along those lines, and I think it's the only majorly active website that I know that has a real focus primarily on the holding aspect.

Yeah, that's probably right. I have come across S&M fetishists that had holding as a side kick, but apart from that we are a minority.

I haven't seen other forums either about only the holding part. I do enjoy almost every aspect of peeing, but I've found a forum about other pee related fetishes, where the culture is like here, just as the original poster said.
