DerivativeWings 1,648
Your decision has been made: you are going make Siren use the toilet first. Soon, you shall learn the outcome of this decision. No room for hesitation, now. You press your hand against the hand print, like Rocker indicated. Then, you practically shove Siren into the open door. “Huh-eep!” The door closes, creating a barrier between the two of you. That’s one down, but… You see Simon breathing heavily. You’re not sure he fully aware of the situation beyond using every effort to keep it in. Just make it a little longer, you think. But suddenly- “I- I can’t…!” Simon’s entire body shudders, and you think you hear a quick hissing sound. Whether or not you imagined that last bit, there is no question he just had a bad leak. “It’s just a little bit longer, Simon! Just hold it for one minute longer, and you will be able to use the toilet!” Neither Rocker nor Nemean react to you using his real name. Simon tenses up, but seems to still be holding on. For a little while, you, Rocker and Nemean just watch the struggling Simon in silence. The only things you can hear now are the occasional whimpers and pained moans from him, as well as your own heartbeat. You think your own bladder might actually be beating in sync. Or maybe you’re imagining that part. You wish you had some kind of psychic powers you could use to implore Siren to hurry up. Come on Siren, you think. Hurry up and open that door. However, before that can happen- Simon flinches, as though he’s been punched in the stomach. He collapses to his knees, his whole body relaxing as though he were a punctured balloon. The sheer physical effort that’s been keeping him from peeing has all but run out. “I-I’m sorry. I can’t…!” A soft sob. “It’s impossible…!” “No-!” Before you can react, it happens. Simon ever so slightly parts his legs, and it starts. It soaks the fabric of his trousers in a flash, then gushes out in a semi-solid stream even through his clothing. Simon is breathing heavily and unevenly throughout. You can’t help but notice that the stream gains and loses a bit of strength with his breathing. A sizeable puddle is forming, staining his trousers at the knees. It feels like an eternity passes, but it was probably less than a minute. With a raspy sigh, Simon finishes. Shit. You feel terrible for him. Clearly someone should comfort him somehow, but you have no idea what to say. And also… You hate to admit that but that did not help your own bladder in the least. You feel about ready to make an even bigger puddle. You hear a sigh to your left, and an even louder hissing sound. You, Simon and Rocker all look on in shock as- “Haah..! Yeah, that really is a lot better” Nemean is, absolutely and definitively, wetting himself. His stream is a lot steadier than Simon’s. It runs down the left leg of his pants, making a rapidly growing puddle at his feet. While you mostly just felt bad for Simon as he was doing it, for one reason or another you feel like you should look away now. Another part of you doesn’t want to take its eyes away, though. He just keeps going and going. Did this game awaken some kind of big bladder fascination within you? Worth thinking about, after all this. Simon rises, shakily. He looks towards the still-peeing Nemean with uncertainty. “Nemean, you didn’t have to…” Nemean shakes his head. “I was too low on DP, and couldn’t hold it any more. That’s all there was to it.” He really doesn’t look like someone who held it to the last moment… well, perhaps other than the puddle. That is a big puddle though, and growing. You really have no idea with this guy. Simon fully stands up, retaining a shred of his dignity. His eyes are now fixated on Nemean, though you can’t read his expression at all. A pang from your bladder takes you back to reality. Was Simon going to be stuck here now? How would that even work? Was that the reason Nemean wet himself, so he wouldn’t have to be alone? Another pang. Holy shit, you need to pee. Your mind starts exploring options that would have been unthinkable minutes prior. What if… Nemean had the right idea here? Were you really content to just use the toilet, now that some of the players wouldn’t be allowed to leave in the end? Then again, you’re not sure how much of that is your brain talking, and how much is your bladder. You really have to pee now; your body is practically screaming at you to let go. That may be interfering with your decision-making process. But maybe you should just…? DECISION – Wet yourself? YES NO WetWinter, Biku and brothacheese 1 2 Quote Link to comment
ZirconiumPen 139
That's quite the decision to be faced with, huh... I say NO, we can hold it! Quote Link to comment

NotGraeme 243
Gotta go with no. Feel bad for Simon, but we don't know what the penalty for peeing is. Quote Link to comment
DerivativeWings 1,648
Your decision has been made: you are not going to wet yourself. Your choices have reached their ultimate conclusion, and you shall soon learn of their consequence. No. This was clearly just your bladder twisting your way of thinking. If you, Siren, Rocker and Orca got out, you could all get help from outside and save Nemean and Simon. You were sure you could do something. But, it was good Simon didn’t have to be alone. You realize both have left, though their respective puddles remain on the floor near the toilet. They’re standing a few paces away, locked in some conversation. You suppose it was to be expected, after the stunt Nemean had just pulled. “I just couldn’t hold it anymore”- your ass. It should be obvious to anyone he did it intentionally. You turn back to the puddles. You know it’s not realistic, but some part of you wants to clean them both up before Siren comes out of the toilet. Speaking off… Why hadn’t she come out yet? Surely, there had been enough time for her to finish by now? The opportunity to use the toilet after the DP game will pass in three minutes. If you intend to use the toilet this round, please make sure to do it now. Okay for the love of god Siren, hurry up. “Hey, Chat…-Johanna.” You turn to face Rocker, who appears to have gotten over the shock of Simon’s and Nemean’s respective wettings. “W-what’s up?” Siren really ought to hurry up, for your sake at this point. “I think there’s some kind of locking mechanism on the toilet door for when someone’s inside. I was able to lock it when I was inside.” You look at what she’s pointing at. It’s a small green semi-circle on the door. “What about it?” “I just have a bad feeling, Siren’s been in there too long without locking the door. Do you… Think you could go check on her? I’m not sure I even can open the door with my DP, and I don’t want to risk it.” That seemed like it might be a good idea. If Siren kept you waiting for much longer, you might actually end up like Simon, whether you wanted to or not. You hesitate somewhat before pushing the button to open the door. You sincerely hoped you wouldn’t find Siren sitting in a puddle on the floor in there. What you do see as the door opens is something you could never anticipate. It’s, well… To put it simply, it’s Siren’s backside. You’d seen her butt a little when she’d stripped down to panties-only, though you’d tried not to stare back then. Well, now it was opposite of panties-only. No, that was inaccurate. It was just panties-on-the-floor. Nude cheeks, only halfway covered by her reindeer shirt. Purely out of shock and reflex, you enter the bathroom letting the door close behind you. The room is easily spacious enough for the two of you, but your mind barely registers that at all. Your attention is purely focused on Siren now; analyze, and act. The toilet is a small distance away from the door, and Siren appears to have made it halfway there. Her panties (there’s a wet spot) lie discarded near your feet. You’re viewing her from behind, but you can see her slender fingers pushed through the V shape created between her buttcheeks and thighs. Holding herself. You hear her moaning and gasping for air. Pain and desperation. She appears almost completely frozen in place, her only movements being the occasional shiver. A single drop slips past her fingers, runs down her left thigh then swerves around to the back of her calf. Another shiver. You need to act immediately. No time to think. Lock the door without looking back. You rush forward and pick her up. She’s a little heavier than you expected, but you might also just be exhausted after your own long struggle. She yelps in surprise, and you think you hear a hiss and splash of liquid hitting the floor. No time to think. You start walking towards the toilet. She is curled up like a ball in your arms. Her shirt is fuzzy. You reach toilet, but the seat is down. No time. With an impressive action kick, you are able to raise the seat without needing to drop her. The seat predictably, bounces against the tank and is not going to stay up for very long. You are faster. The kick has caused you to lose your balance, and you start falling forward. Thinking at speeds only possible in adrenaline-fueled desperate pee situations, you use the momentum to plop her down onto the toilet. You almost fall face-first into her thighs, but manage to stop yourself by catching the wall. For a millisecond, you meet at eye level. You’re close enough to feel the heat radiating from her flush face. You push away from the wall, stand straight, and turn around. If there had been an audience, they would be erupting into applause. The action sequence is punctuated by a sound. An unbearably loud, two-part hiss. The hiss of urine rapidly leaving one’s body, and then the hiss of urine violently splashing against porcelain. Not the muted hiss of a desperate wetting, but the unmistakable hiss of a tremendous relief. It was the sound of victory. For you, it was also the sound of the apocalypse. No matter how much you wanted to remain the action hero with your back turned to an ongoing explosion, you could not. You doubled over, pressing down hard. Your moan of desperation coincided with Siren’s moan of relief. A moment passes. Holy shit, you are actually going to wet yourself now. Another moment. And then another. Suddenly, you realize the hissing had stopped. “U-um” You turn to face Siren, still sitting on the toilet. Drip. “I was a-able to take the edge of, s-so if you-” She is cut off by the return of her own stream. If that’s even possible, it somehow comes back even stronger than it was previously. And worse, you were looking directly at it now. Your bladder was practically shouting at you, pang after pang. It’s time to abandon ship, my lady. You were wetting yourself, now. You hadn’t actually started yet, but you just knew this was the point of no return. Regaining the lightning speed you had moments prior, you drop your jeans and underwear in a single motion. You’re able to mouth a quick “Part them.” before plopping down onto Siren’s lap, facing her. She doesn’t immediately understand, but reacts quickly enough to give you the gap you need. Your own stream exits your body, splashing Siren a little at first before shooting against the back of the toilet. Siren adjusts her posture slightly to the side, to lower the risk of your streams slamming against each other. Your distended bladder brushes against her pelvic bone in an oddly intimate moment. Your breath against her forehead, you try to bite your tongue but you can’t. You melt into her lap and start peeing in earnest. The bathroom is now a two-girl orchestra. The mixture of vocals and percussion echoing around the bathroom could perhaps not be called beautiful, but it was undeniable that they accurately conveyed the relief the two of you felt in that moment. Siren finishes before you, owing to her early start. And you suspect, smaller capacity. She sags a little as she fully empties, energy spent. Then straightens up again and adjusts her posture to make things easier on you. She can’t exactly up and leave before you finish, after all. You just keep peeing and peeing and peeing. You’re a little more aware of your surroundings now that you’ve gotten to empty your bladder halfway. You look down towards Siren and your eyes meet. She smiles. It’s a somewhat awkward and shy smile, but kind nonetheless. This was a profoundly weird situation, but you still couldn’t help but lose yourself to the relief. You had never realized how good this kind of relief felt before you had to put your freedom on the line over your bladder. You will probably never experience this kind of thing again. Finally, you’re empty. Not just empty since you entered the bathroom, but empty for the first time since this crazy game started. Holy shit. With the conclusion of the fourth round, the DP game is now over. When next you wake, you will be returned to your previous lives, with no memories from this game. Your immense contribution to humanity’s future will not go unrewarded. That will be all. You barely even have time to react. Before you can even get off Siren’s lap, a sort of numb feeling envelops you body. You weren’t pricked by anything just now, but you’re pretty sure you were just hit with a strong anesthetic. You are no longer in full control of your own body, and you feel yourself starting to fall backwards. You’re caught by Siren, who goes limp moments after. Oblivion is taking you. You can’t see or hear Siren. The only thing left is a bit of warmth that might be her body heat. Your last thing on your mind before you fully lose consciousness is Simon and Nemean’s puddles outside. Siren doesn't need to know, and now she never will. DerivativeWings 1,648
Epilogue Somewhere else, a woman in an olive-colored sweater is finishing her coffee. She pushes a stack of paper aside, causing them to fall and scatter to the floor. She swears, but does not move to pick them up. Now that the paper’s out of the way, a computer screen displaying some kind of raw data stares back at her. A frazzled and nervous-looking assistant in a vanilla-colored overcoat approaches her from behind. The assistant remains quiet for a while, just watching the woman in the sweater work on the computer. Several minutes pass, than the woman swivels her chair to the side to speak with her assistant. “The DP game is over. We’ll need to prepare for cleanup.” “Any anomalies?” “One of the subjects went a little off-script. We might need to use our contingency for a while until they cool down.” The assistant looks a little uneasy, but continues anyway. “And the data?” “We got a fair bit this time around.” “Do you wonder what it’s actually being used for? What about this particular setup is so valuable to them?” “Of course, I’ve thought about it a lot. Some part of me thinks this really is just a game to them. Wouldn’t that be ironic?” “I think it would be pretty scary if that was it.” The lady in the sweater stretches in her chair and sighs. “Yeah. Though, if they are doing it for fun, any speculation about their motives becomes more or less meaningless. So I have to assume there’s an actual research purpose here, whatever that might be. Maybe this is just what a social or psychological experiment looks like to them, and they can glean tons of information from this data that we’re unable to see.” “Are you worried we’re actually helping them with something dangerous?” The assistant bites her lip. “Like what, a piss-powered space laser?” “Hey, I’m being serious! They’re getting insane amounts of behavioral data, maybe they’re trying to make some kind of simulation to trap us in, I don’t know.” “You mean like The Matrix? That would certainly be something.” The woman in a sweater smirks, then grows serious. “I have been thinking about where we’ll have to draw the line, though. The DP game is already wildly unethical, but so far I am willing to say the ends justify the means. If they add more demands or conditions we might eventually reach a point where we have to pull the plug.” “But that would mean…” “Let’s just get back to work, no sense giving ourselves any more anxiety than we already have over this.” “Before we do cleanup, may I use the bathroom?” “Are you seriously going to do this every time? You’re not a participant in the DP game, you know. You can just do it whenever you need to.” “Yeah…” The assistant shifts her weight around. “I just feel bad about doing it, is all.” “It’s weird, that’s what I’m saying. Anyway, knock yourself out. I’ll wait for you and then we can head down to the test site.” The assistant hurries off, leaving the woman alone in the room. “The road to hell, huh.” She remains quiet for a while, working away at her computer. When the assistant returns, the two head down to collect four unconscious bodies from the floor of a warehouse, and two from inside a bathroom. Afterword: This is the end of “The DP Game”… for now, at least. Thanks for sticking around, it’s been a wild ride! There are still a lot of unsolved mysteries, and there’s still a lot I would like to do with this concept and setting, so there’s a good chance this interactive gets an eventual sequel, though if that’s the case it might not be for a while. I do know exactly where and how the story picks from here, though I am going to be very busy for a while now so I don’t want to start something I will then have to abandon. And anyone who knows me as a writer knows that I tend to be pretty fickle with my projects. For now, though, I am happy to let this be the conclusion of the interactive. The interactive in its entirety (only the story bits), should all be posted in the DP Game blog in the near future. That way, I hope it will be a lot easier for people who come here after the interactive has ended to read the whole thing as a complete story. This story was an unusual one, but I hope it was enjoyable! Edited August 30, 2022 by DerivativeWings (see edit history) WetWinter, ola93, socialreject14 and 9 others 7 5 Quote Link to comment

DerivativeWings 1,648
Time for the victory lap (I think I earned it). This is where I reply to everything that I wanted to during the interactive, but could not. On 8/17/2022 at 6:59 AM, ZirconiumPen said: (also I love this color-coding, it's a nice way to track speakers without having to rewrite their names, especially when there are 6 of them) I actually consider this a mild "writing cheat", but the story really would not have been possible without it. On 8/20/2022 at 7:29 PM, brothacheese said: Siren (Tough choice, but raw curiosity won out over which information was most useful/passing entirely.) Curiousity is admirable, even bladder curiosity. On 8/23/2022 at 1:36 AM, SoupBox said: By the way, I just found this, and I have to say this is one of the best ideas for an interactive I've seen on here in a long time. I already replied to this and the next one, but for this final comment I wanted to be thorough. Thanks again for your kind words! On 8/23/2022 at 11:01 AM, adriangache said: Also agreed this is an incredible idea and it's so easy to engage with it, plus having studied the prisoner's dilemma while studying IR in college I never thought I'd see it in an omo setting Thanks! In addition to what I said before, I will acknowledge that idea isn't wholly my own (the format of the DP game is inspired by a visual novel called "Virtue's Last Reward") but I think it worked really well as an omo setting. On 8/23/2022 at 6:04 PM, brothacheese said: Siren and Rocker (I will also comment that I'm really enjoying this, both in terms of the premise and the characters. Bonus points for color-coded dialogue, which is an absolute godsend for readability) I'm glad the characters ended up being interesting to read about! But maybe...? On 8/25/2022 at 6:51 PM, BlueRaven said: Ally, of course I'm also beginning to suspect Nemean might somehow be in on the whole thing... I can neither confirm nor deny. On 8/28/2022 at 8:14 AM, WetWinter said: As much as I'd love to give Simon a sympathy vote to even the odds as you suggested, I have to go with Siren. It just feels more fitting on a character level, both since we've put in so much effort to keep her dry and guarantee her freedom by extension, and since Simon seems like the kind of guy who'd really regret being the reason for someone staying trapped down here. (As you might've guessed, I just caught up on this the other night, and have really been appreciating this story so far, haha. The premise is unique and captivating, the character dynamics feel surprisingly believable, and it's very concisely-written on top of that.) I'm glad you liked it! Simon would probably feel bad if that happened, yeah. On 9/3/2022 at 4:42 AM, marekmisar said: good story Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. This will be the last post I will ever make in this thread. When or if I continue the DP game, it will be in a new thread. I will post an update in the DP Game Blog when/if that happens, however. My reasons for doing this is the fact that I want a fresh start whenever I pick up the story again, and I also don't want to push this story to the top of the forum anymore, now that it's over. Thanks to everyone who joined to determine the course of this story! /'wings Edited September 6, 2022 by DerivativeWings (see edit history) Biku, BlueRaven, brothacheese and 3 others 6 Quote Link to comment
