I gotta say something.

Is wetting her jeans enough to make watching someone having a seizure entertaining? Really?

I did not know what the movie scene was like. I just figured maybe some eye rolling and then pants wetting. Not her flopping on the floor and having a realistic attack. My bad

It's a movie. If it was real life, I would agree with you, but it is a person acting. I wonder if it was a special effect or if she actually wet.

I know it was a movie. I know the person was acting. The problem is she was acting like someone having an epileptic seizure which resulted in an accidental wetting, and it was treated here like just another "hot" jeans pee scene.

Well if it isn't real, why would you feel bad?

Because the goal of a good movie is to make its audience react to the events depicted on screen as if they were real, no matter how outlandish they might actually be. That's why improvements are constantly being made to scriptwriting, special effects and acting. And the reason I "feel bad," is because the scene realistically depicts a terrible side effect of an illness no one should have to go through, but especially not to satisfy somebody's fetish.

And if you don't feel bad watching, I say that you're the one with the problem.

I get what you’re saying and I personally didn’t really find this video to be “it” for me, but it isn’t a problem if it is for someone else. And no one has a problem if they liked it. If it were a real scenario, sure. But it’s not. And it’s pretty rude to be attacking people and telling them they have problems and shit like that. It’s not hurting anyone, and it’s not real so if you don’t like it then keep it to yourself and move along.

Cosigned. We already went through this on the fear wetting thread, where one person acknowledged enjoying scenarios that end with simulated death and someone else accused them of having the mentality of a serial killer.

Neither death nor medical emergency are scenarios that personally appeal to me, but I'm also capable of recognizing the difference between fantasy and reality, and if you can't, then indeed "you're the one with the problem."

Not one person is saying that anyone "should have to go through" an illness "to satisfy somebody's fetish." That's a gross mis-characterization of what it means to have a fetish.

The operative phrase here is "as if". Movies - including pornographic movies - aren't supposed to make you believe that the events on screen actually are real. Thus, people can enjoy horror movies and other depictions of unpleasant phenomenon, and even get some sadistic pleasure out of them, safe in the knowledge that no one has actually been harmed. No one in the above scene is "going through" anything other than the process of acting.

So, question for all of you: If one fine day I posted a video of a scene depicting a 13 year old girl pissing uncontrollably while she was being raped, would all of you say "To each his own. It's just a movie.

Just inquiring about limits here...

Piss off dude. Obviously, nobody in this thread or hopefully on this webiste would find that appealing. That is a gross mischaracterization of the arguments at play made in bad faith. You cannot draw false equivalencies just beacuse you lost the argument. "Oh, I can't form a coherent point of why I am morally superior to others so I'll just accuse them of liking watching minors get raped!"

What a fucking extreme to jump to lmao. Not worth the time or energy trying to explain simple shit to someone who doesn’t want to understand it

So you do have lines you won't cross. Good to know.

See, I'm just following everybody's logic here. According to the above arguments some things we see shouldn't be considered objectionable because they're obviously fake. You can fake lots of things, and every body has a scenario in their subconscious mind that crosses a line, no matter how fake it is.

You've seen my line, and now I know yours. Thanks for sharing.

You were talking about a video with a real 13 year old person. That's not fake, and that's the reason why the comparison just doesn't make sense. No one would argue about the rape part, the age is the problem, cause it's not fake.

Teen Wolf had a scene where a previously mousy girl explained her drastic personality change into a Stacy (after getting turned into a woof) - she had a seizure and wet herself, and it was absolutely humiliating for her, so now she loves her new body becuase the werewolf bite cured her of this disease. This is a vital character development moment, it shows the viewer that she has her reasons for liking what she is now. None of the original humiliation was shown, of course, because why would we want to watch that? We're watching the series about woofs, and the script got the job done.

Rape as a drama is a commonly used trope, but it doesn't mean that we have to watch it first row. There are more subtle ways to get the point across if it's relevant to the plot.
