Mbgpeelover 8,720 Posted April 12, 2021 ✨ Legendary Member Popular Post Share Posted April 12, 2021 I have shared a few of my experiences as a teacher in different threads recently but thought I would start a new thread and share some as I get time. Here’s one to get you all started: I was a supply teacher for many years (substitute teacher I think some countries call them) so I worked in many different schools. I covered the ages of 4-14 so could be anything from nursery (kindergarten) right to high school. I had periods where I was at different schools lots and then times I was doing long term cover for maternity leave or long term sickness cover. On this occasion I had been in the same smallish school for a number of months mostly in the same class but having helped cover planning time in some other classes too. I knew the building, staff and children pretty well and I was quite settled. So when it came time for a school Christmas fayre where other teachers were manning stalls, doing face painting, helping with ‘Santa’ and so on I volunteered to help in whatever capacity the Head wanted. A rota was made and my duty was assigned. I was ‘cover staff’ which meant three classes were all in my one classroom because their teachers were busy and children were continually collected and returned by parents and carers who had to sign them in and out whilst I supervised all the children. I set up the room with a Christmas movie, colouring in, Lego and a craft table and kept the children supervised all morning. When morning break came the children were not to go out as there were too many people around the school so they stayed in the class and ate snacks and drinks where they were. The children were allowed access to toilets etc though many were with their parents. Those who had no adult to go around with where taken by parent helpers or support staff but I couldn’t leave the classroom as there was always children there. I had bottled water and fruit and the lovely Head teacher made sure I also had a mug of tea too. I was aware that I should use the bathroom when lunch time came but the Head teacher popped into the room saying that the staff member who was meant to cover the children in the class eating packed lunches was still doing face painting so could I wait and she’s get cover for me as soon as possible? I wasn’t bursting so agreed this was fine and a hot meal and more tea were brought into me. As lunch time went on and most of the children went outside to play for a while I looked into the corridor to see if anyone was coming to cover me but the corridors and building were bustling with parents, kids and activities still. By this point I only had two children in the classroom who had different reasons why they couldn’t go outside to play. One found the playground too overwhelming and the other was waiting to be collected for an appointment so I was stuck in the classroom as they couldn’t be left unattended. The Head must have completely forgotten about me as before I knew it the bell went for lunch to end and the children all piled back into my classroom! By this time I really did need to use the ladies but all staff were allocated to places so I was stuck! I spent that full afternoon trying to keep on top of the children coming and going, keep them all occupied and happy when they were quite hyper with Christmas approaching and from sweets from selection boxes etc or bored of the films and Lego whilst I was also being bursting for the loo! I reminder sitting near the screen the film was on with my legs crossed bouncing them hoping someone would come in so I could rush to the ladies. Of course no-one came and my heart was racing and my back sweating holding my full bladder for over two hours and trying not to show it. I kept watching the clock wishing it would speed up! Finally 3pm came and I think the children were as excited to be leaving as I was to see them go! As soon as the last child was out my class I was at the door ready to race to the loos! But just as I stepped out the classroom and into the corridor the Head saw me and apologised that she hadn’t managed to get back to me. She stood there chatting to me about how well the fayre had gone, how much they thought they had raised and thanking me for having so many children in my class and efficiently dealing with so many in and out all day. I was nodding and curling my toes in my high heeled shoes screaming in my mind for her to move so I could get to the toilet! I was just so desperate! She was so excited I felt awful that I wanted away so badly but my bladder was throbbing so much having not been to the toilet since I had left home that morning at 8am! I couldn’t speak I was so desperate but finally she asked if I would mind staying back to help clear up and I nodded and then said very quietly ‘No problem. Just as soon as I’ve been to the ladies.’ She looked at me with sympathetic eyes and nodded saying, ‘Oh goodness! Of course! You weren’t needing to go at lunch where you? I am so sorry again that I forgot to get back to you. I just got so busy you see. I’ll let you go now shall I? Right I’ll be in the walk in cupboard clearing up after Santa if you are looking for me.’ I am afraid I was a little impolite by this pint and just nodded, bit my lower lip and marched urgently along the corridor to the staff toilets. Boy did I pee for Britain that afternoon! Teaching is a very rewarding job but getting to the loo on time is often the most rewarding part when you’ve had to hold it in so long! bustin2pee, david_578, HeyItsClaire and 18 others 16 1 4 Quote Link to comment

waterrat 98
That's a really great story about a very desperate day, you can almost feel the intensity while reading it! Thanks for sharing it with us! I'm wondering what other teachers would do in right that situation. I mean you are really experienced in holding your pee for a very long time, but even for you it was a close call. Not every other teacher could have waited as long as you did, but what could they do in this situation? Anyway, a really good story and I'm looking forward to read more about your experiences. And one little thing, did you make it completely dry? 😉 nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment

Despguy123 2,699
Brilliant story, you did so well to hang on for that long! If I had been that head teacher, I have to confess that it would be a huge turn-on to know that you hadn't been to the ladies all day and I'd be tempted to stop you in the corridor on the way to the loo and ask if you'd mind accompanying me to my office to go over some paperwork, which of course would take much longer than strictly necessary! I know the teaching profession requires almost superhuman levels of bladder control. Two friends of mine are teaching assistants and another is a supply teacher, all of them have mentioned that they usually don't get chance for a loo break until after the students have left for the day, and they often have to attend staff meetings straight after the final lesson has ended so it can be as late as 5 or 6 pm before they are finally able to relieve themselves. An ex-girlfriend of mine also volunteered as a teaching assistant for a couple of weeks after finishing university and told me that she would often end up desperate by the afternoon as she would be drinking several cups of tea throughout the day and had no time to go for a wee. She told me that on one occasion she almost wet herself while helping to run an afternoon PE lesson and barely made it to the ladies in time. Also remember reading a story years ago on another forum about a trainee teacher who ended up desperate while taking the students to a local leisure centre for a swimming lesson, as she had not had time to use the loo beforehand. By the time she was finally able to go she was visibly desperate and dancing from foot to foot in front of the other teacher who went along. Mbgpeelover and plorenz3 2 Quote Link to comment

Mbgpeelover 8,720 Posted April 13, 2021 Author ✨ Legendary Member Popular Post Share Posted April 13, 2021 Another time I was a bursting teacher... As I said I was a supply teacher which sometimes meant weeks of little to no work. During that time I tried to undertake further training opportunities and I had a particular interest in literacy in young children. I attended a number of key courses and when a new project I had worked on was launched in my local authority I was invited to tour schools and work with groups of children to further develop the materials we had been working on. It was a new way of helping children learn to read and while some staff were sceptical others were very keen to learn more. So this particular day I had three schools to visit...two before lunch and one after. Two of them were schools I had previously taught in and the final one was one I knew of but had never actually been in. I prepared and packed everything I needed and drove to the first school a few miles from my home. Having worked there before the Head teacher and assistant Head were delighted to see me again and I started the morning in the Head’s office having a lovely mug of tea while I updated her on the project. She had heard about it and her school were keen to heavily invest in it so she was thrilled to have me and even booked me to come back before I had even started working with the kids! I was shown to the class I would be working with and did a full class session up until mid morning which went brilliantly. I didn’t want to leave but unfortunately I had to and I drove to my second school of the day. Again this was one I had taught in and it was in a rougher area so I was keen to see if the children responded any differently to the materials I had. Once again I was warmly welcomed and once again I was offered a mug of tea by the management before being taken to work with the children. By this point I could feel my bladder pretty full and as I walked past some children’s toilets in a corridor I told myself I would use the staff ones prior to heading away. Again the session with the children went very well and they engaged beautifully. The class teacher was young and especially keen on the project and held me back a bit talking after the children went for lunch. Unfortunately this made me run a little late for my final school so I left and ate a banana quickly in my car and had some water before driving on to my final school. I was parked outside the last school of the day, a large inner city primary, when I suddenly realised I hadn’t been to the loo at the last school and I wished I had! I could control myself at this point but it was a niggling feeling and I thought I would ask before the afternoon session started. Unfortunately this was a new school to me and I had to sign in, show identification and wait outside an office being watched in a closed in area for security until the Head teacher was available. He was in a meeting and so I sat there waiting on an opportunity to ask the office staff member if I could possibly use the ladies but she was continually on the phone which was so annoying. I crossed my legs and tried not to think about my growing need. Eventually the Head showed someone out his office and shook my hand. I told him who I was and he nodded and checked his watch. He apologised for keeping me waiting and said the class were expecting me and asked me to follow him. I REALLY wanted to ask if I could quickly use the staff toilets but he was walking fast and I wasn’t given an opportunity to say anything! After being led down corridors, up stairs and round corners I finally stood while he knocked a door of a class and introduced me to 31 children’s faces smiling at me. That was it, I was now stuck there until 3pm and it was not even 1:45! I remember that afternoon well as I fidgeted on seats made for children and tapped my feet and crossed my legs one way then the other trying to concentrate on working with the children rather than my very full bladder. I was flustered and flushed but the teacher was marking work so thankfully didn’t notice and the children were too young and (hopefully) too engaged in the activities to really know what was going on under the desk! The last twenty minutes seemed to last forever as the pressure between my legs was so great and heavy. I had everything tensed and I was sweating. Finally the class teacher resumed control of the class and I was left to tidy up and pack away and sit at the back of the class waiting for the bell to go. I found an empty desk and sat behind it with some of the children’s work laid out on it pretending to be looking at it but secretly with a hand between my legs pressing hard to hold back the flood between my legs. All I could think about was finding the staff toilets! The bell rang and the class were dismissed and I tidied away my stuff into a bag. The teacher came over to where I was sitting and thanked me for working with the kids and handling them so well and asked how the project was going. By this point I must have been squirming more as she asked if I was ok. Embarrassed to be asked I flushed red and clambered all my things together and tried to stand up. However try and I could I couldn’t stand still and I quickly crossed my legs and apologised and very quietly and shyly said, ‘I am so sorry. This is my third school visit today and I have drank far too much tea. I didn’t get a change to use the ladies when I arrived. Could you show me where they are please?’ The class teacher was in her early forties and she smiled at me and her eyes looked at me through her spectacles. Her long wavy hair had fallen over her face so she flicked it back and commented about how teaching definitely needed a strong bladder and as she walked me to the nearest staff toilets she kept talking about how she’d spent many a time teaching with a full bladder and how awful it was which wasn’t helping me at all! It was a single stall unisex bathroom with one toilet and a small sink and I remember putting my bag of stuff on the floor and dancing a jig in absolute desperation as I pulled my dress up and my tights down and sat on that cold loo just in time! I have no doubt that the class teacher could hear me peeing outside but as embarrassed as I was I had no choice as I belted out a long continuous stream and sighed in relief at finally getting to relax. I have driven past that school several times since and every time all I remember was this time when I almost peed myself as I squirmed in a classroom of kids! astralis, HeyItsClaire, plorenz3 and 7 others 7 3 Quote Link to comment

Mbgpeelover 8,720 Posted April 15, 2021 Author ✨ Legendary Member Popular Post Share Posted April 15, 2021 Another one for you all. This time it was on what’s known here as an inservice day...a day when the students aren’t in but the staff get training. I had been in this school for some months covering a long term absence and I was teaching a class which had a number of children in with additional needs. One child particularly had some significant behavioural difficulties stemming from a troubled background and a diagnosis of autism spectrum but as he was academically able and the government policy was inclusion he was placed in a regular mainstream school. The Head teacher of this school was rather progressive and career minded and passionate about making the school a place of excellence. He was someone I admired and his reference would make a big difference to my career so I was very respectful of him. This particular day was going to be all about the school completely changing their behavioural policy. The Head had paid for and invited in a behavioural company who had radical but proven behaviour policies that we would be adapting to as a school. I arrived around 8:30am as usual having woken around 7, showered, had breakfast, dressed and had a final cup of tea before leaving home. At the school the main hall was set up and we started with more tea/coffee and light refreshments. I helped myself and got comfortable to listen to the presentation. The head started by introducing the representatives and outlining why he felt we should be changing policies. The morning then carried on with the company outlining their research and background which was all very interesting and relevant. We had another brief break mid morning where I helped myself to come water as the hall was warm with the sun shining in through large windows. Up until lunch we were working on some case studies which showed how imaginary fictional children might respond to different behavioural strategies. I was very engrossed in this picturing some of the characters in my current class and how this new policy might make a big difference to them. By the time we broke for lunch I was needing the loo. I was just putting my empty water bottle from earlier in the bin and heading towards the door to go to the ladies when the Head teacher came over to talk to me. I couldn’t be rude to such a powerful and influential figure so I stood chatting briefly while an catering company brought in food. As the conversation naturally broke I was once again about to head to the toilet when the Head took the mike again and interrupted everyone to say we had half an hour to eat then we would be meeting back so to help ourselves to the food provided. I knew I should have nipped to the bathroom first but I decided (and later regretted) that I could hold a little longer so I could eat the food warm. I took a plate and helped myself to what was on offer and before realising it the Head had called over one of the reps and all three of us were chatting whilst eating and standing and the Head was asking about wether there was research directly relating to children on the autism spectrum so I didn’t feel I could excuse myself. I became quite engrossed in the conversation despite needing the toilet and before I knew it the meeting was recommencing and I had to quickly take my seat! I crossed my legs and hoped their would be an afternoon break soon! The afternoon was much more interactive than the morning! It involved us working in small groups to devise inspiring and motivational charts for each of our classes for something called an ‘above and beyond wall’ so we could think of things like cars racing, rockets going into space, hot air balloons soaring etc and discussing what sort of things we would would reward children with. We had to think up standard and consistent things the children would do to get on these walls and advance so that each class had the same rules. This was the sort of creative thinking I thrived on and I engaged fully with my colleagues whilst fidgeting and trying not to show how much I could really do with going for a pee. My group was very mixed with some younger newly qualified teachers keen to embrace this new policy and some more mature teachers who had probably seen more policy changes than I had hot dinner. One particular much older woman who was very critical and sceptical of anything different was mocking our rockets calling them penises and jesting that for ‘Johnny’s family you may as well have drugs at the top to aim for as that’s all that will motivate them!’ Etc. That started the others saying ‘I’d may as well be putting food up for Annabel in my class as that’s al she’s motivated by!’ And then one jested about one particular well know lad who was forever messing about in the toilets and always asking to go. He’d been found in the boys loos so often we used to joke about putting his desk in there. His teacher joked that ‘Well we all know that Marcus may as well have a toilet to aim for!’ Which made us all laugh as the double meaning of aiming was funny. Laughing wasn’t ideal for me though and only made my need intensify a LOT. In fact I was squirming so much and moving around I whispered to the teacher next to me ‘I could actually do with going to the loo myself.’ That made this woman laugh even more but it just didn’t feel appropriate to get up and leave! We gathered back as a full group and had to talk about what ideas we’d had and some more ideas were shown on screen. The bell rang at this point for what would have been the end of the schools day and by now I was sitting tightly crossed legged hoping we could be excused! But the course continued and before leaving we were all to help each other make a chart to have hung in our classrooms for the children coming in the next day! We were given a lot of materials and a set time to be finished for but by this point I was absolutely bursting for the toilet! I moved my seat to where one of the tables were of materials and pressed my bottom back against the seat as far as I could and squeezed so much to avoid leaking. However I could still feel I was right on the edge of an accident so I gripped both sides of the seat with my hands and squeezed so tight my knuckles went white. I lifted my bottom a bit off the seat and tensed everything I could. The other staff were rummaging through the card, foil, materials and glue and all I could think about was the fact any second I was about to piss myself in a hall full of teachers. I absolutely couldn’t wait any longer! I pushed myself up and dashed out the room trying not too look like I was ill or upset in case I was stopped. Once the door of the hall was closed I literally RAN to the staff loos, raced into a cubicle and pulled my suit trousers down and my underwear. I remember not even managing to sit my bottom on the seat before my urine cascaded out at full force! Had I waited a second longer I would have absolutely made a huge puddle on the hall floor! I had been bursting that long it took over half an hour for my bladder to realise I had actually emptied it and I was bursting again before I left the building an hour later! Incidentally the charts and new policy were a great success and I was sad to leave that school later that term. plorenz3, KnightofStars, astralis and 5 others 4 4 Quote Link to comment

The desperation in it sounds so intense and your writing style is really good! But how did you feel back then, did you enjoy the desperation yourself? Can you at least enjoy it now, thinking back to it? Real life desperation is the best, but it's hard to enjoy it. I bet you were a real sight when you were finally out of sight! And what could have happened if you would have decided to wear a bodysuit that day 😉 Quote Link to comment

Mbgpeelover 8,720 Posted April 17, 2021 Author ✨ Legendary Member Popular Post Share Posted April 17, 2021 A final story from my teaching days for now..(unless people still want more?) This one happened on the one night a term teachers find exhausting...parents night! I had been in this particiular school for a while, long enough to be writing my own lessons (instead of carrying on with work the regular teacher had preplanned) and therefore considered experienced enough to hold the much dreaded parents night. Parents night happens to be the longest day of the term with prep work consuming the full month before too. This school were very organised and the ‘evening’ was due to start half an hour after school ended at 3pm and run right through until 9pm! We were given a break (on paper at least) of half an hour between 5:30 and 6pm where we had no appointments. During the lunch break earlier in the day the Head had ordered in Chinese food from a local restaurant so that we would all have food before starting our long afternoon and evening. This was a huge treat and so I helped myself to curry, rice and crispy pancakes and to counteract all the rice I drank two mugs of tea. I wasn’t worried at all about wether I might need the toilet later as I had two breaks scheduled at 3-3:30 and again at 5:30. The afternoon went as normal and I dismissed the class at 3. As I stood at the door making sure they all got collected by known adults one parent came and asked me if she could swap her appointment. I invited her into the class and we agreed a time that suited us both and she left. I then had to set the room up so that the parents could face me and gather everything I needed beside where I was going to sit, which was at one of the children’s desks. I made sure my classroom was tidy and drank some water as the rice had still left me dry and I was mulling over the idea of walking to the front of the school to use the staff toilets when I noticed the time! My first set of parents were there waiting so I started seeing parents right away. The difficulty at these events is trying to keep some parents to the time limit. Some I could easily interrupt and stand up to lead them out but others either didn’t pick up on my non verbal cues or just had too much they needed to discuss. One set of parents were delayed due to waiting on a interpreter as they only spoke Polish and every time I let one set of parents out there was always more waiting in the area in the corridor I had set aside for the next group to wait! The only way I could ‘catch up’ on the times was to work through the break a bit. I wasn’t hungry and I had water I was sipping on as I was dry from talking all the time so I felt it would be fine. I just hadn’t bargained on my bladder filling! It wasn’t until after 6pm that I fist felt a niggle to go to pee. I didn’t think much of it though and I was far too busy anyway. By 6:35 I was getting more aware of a need and the sitting down, standing up and walking back and forth to the classroom door with parents and carers wasn’t helping. When 7pm came round I gazed at the clock wishing time would speed up! I hoped perhaps one parent might forget their time and I could take a short break and pee but unfortunately this didn’t appear to happen at all. In fact the next appointment ran over time again but for very legitimate and important reasons. The ‘parent’ was in fact a foster parent and unbeknown to me the child in question was up for adoption and my report was necessary to assist in the information required for the adoption panel! I tapped my foot under the desk and filled in all the necessary documents and shared a few personal achievements of the young boy. By the time I saw some more families I couldn’t ignore the fact I really needed a break to go to the loo. However I was mindful of the fact the families were giving up their personal time to see me and I kept thinking I would be finished soon. With every mum or dad or carer who came in I was getting a little more restless and agitated. I found myself wriggling in the seat, tapping my foot under the desk, crossing and uncrossing my legs and sitting at a very tense angle on the seat. I was bursting by this point! By the time 8:30 came round I was sweating and anxious.I had last been to the ladies at lunch time before having anything to eat or drink and that had been 8 hours before! I remember the mum commenting that I looked tired and red raced and I brushed it off saying the room was warm and it had been a long night but really it was the strain of having such a full bladder and being so desperate to pee that was my issue. Thankfully by 8:50 she left and I checked my list of names alone in my classroom whilst standing tightly crossed legged and sucking in air.I was finally free to go and I needed to get to the loo pronto! I grabbed my things and headed to the staff room to get my coat as I passed there on the way, all the time taking mincing steps and gritting my teeth. It had been an exhausting day and not only was my mind and body tired but my muscles were exhausted holding all the excess water inside me too. Finally I reached the ladies but other staff members must have been just as desperate as me as both stalls were occupied and I had to hold on a few more minutes! I stood against the back wall tapping my foot in frustration and scrunched my long floral skirt in my hands as I tried to hold on. I wanted to scream but couldn’t. Finally I could hear flushing and I let go of my skirt and brushed it down as I could feel a dribble leak into my knickers. I smiled as a colleague came out the stall as she smiled back saying how much better she felt now. I nodded and raced in just in time! Now I am the parent attending these meetings and I often wonder when I do if the teacher has had a change to pee or wether he or she might be as desperate as I was that day. stinklerus, HeyItsClaire, waterrat and 5 others 6 2 Quote Link to comment
