Buying from C4S

Recommended Posts

I’ve never paid for any sort of pornography before and I’m leery of giving my card information to a pornographic website. Have any of you bought from C4S before? I’m looking primarily to buy from Scarlet and Brianna. Was it safe? Was there any hacking or leaking of information? Were you satisfied with the service provided? Did you use your regular card or a disposable gift card?

Any input is welcome

It is just as safe (or unsafe) as paying for any other media purchases online. It really makes no difference if you're buying a Hollywood movie, PC game or erotic video. C4S is a legit site that operates for over a decade in many countries, so I'm pretty confident they don't try to hack or sell your bank information. But just like any other online purchase, virtual transaction always has a minor risk.

I've bought a few inexpensive videos from them over the years and never had issues. However I was more concerned about my credit card being compromised, I don't really care that deep if my name would get linked with porn purchase somehow, it's not like I'm buying meth lol.

My only complain is that you get a disposable link to download video and then it's gone forever, so you can't go later and re-download what you bought in case your hard drive crashed or file got accidentally deleted. If you lose file, you would have to pay again for the same video to get it.

It is usually very safe.  If a site gets much in the way of fraud complaints, the card companies will simply blacklist that merchant.  The percentage of overall complaints is really low, too.  I think it is something around 3%.

Typically, merchants use third party processing companies to handle the financial transactions.  The payment data that ever gets exposed to the merchant is extremely limited.  Clips4sale may be large enough that they are able to act as their own processing company, but that only means they are held to even higher standards of security when compared with a typical merchant.  This means using your card with them is extremely safe.  From a pure security point-of-view, it is probably one of the safest financial transactions you will ever engage in.

Wow. TVGuy is talking to me. Forgive me Sir, but I’m still new to this community and it still blows my mind when the heavy hitters on here speak to me directly. It’s an honor, truly. Thanks for the reply.

That I post a lot on forums only means I have next to no real social life 🙂

But, I am always happy to contribute to conversations, when I can, or chat with anyone.

It has been a few years since I've bought anything from C4S. But, I never had any issues whatsoever with purchases from there.

If you're truly concerned though, one thing you could do is use cash to buy one of those pre-pay Visa cards from Wal-Mart or wherever. Just put whatever amount on the card that you plan to use for your purchase. It will cost you an extra $5 or so for the card. But, then you're guaranteed it will be 100% safe since it won't be linked to your bank account or anything.

Purchases are saved in the users account. So you can download them from any other device again.

I have a credit card that used to have a feature that I loved.  They had a feature where you could login to their website and generate a sort of burner card number.  You can set the limit and the expiration date and it generates everything else.  You use it to pay for exactly what you want and have no risk of that card number being compromised since it won't allow spending more than what you set.  Unfortunately, this company has since stopped offering this service, though I believe that some other banks do offer similar services.  Nice thing about it is that it was free to use and you don't have to go out to get and activate some gift card and pay the activation fees for those.

I have purchased from C4C and other sites and never got any kind of problem. In my country I must authorize self payment- this is not enough only write inn card number and secure code. After I write those informations it comes my bank site and I must write also inn random code from bank calculator and personal password. I feel my save.
