History of Omo.org

Recommended Posts

Great question that id be curious about myself.

For myself, as a 31 year old growing up with this kink during the internet revolution, Its really been nice to have a moderated community, both for my over zealous self at times as well as others 😉 It has definably been a therapeutic, self-acceptance and growing experience being around a well rounded kink community.

Glad we all don't feel as alone anymore and the newcomers are inspired to bring it into the world a tad more.

Thank to the Omo.org creators for bringing the rain to the already damp community!

Hope it keeps growing and looking forward to a Omo convention sooner than later.

I think documenting the history of not just this website but the history of omo content as a whole is a great idea. Actually, I mentioned something similar at the end of my post on this thread:

Tracking the history of this fetish from the early examples in literature/art, movies, the rise of pornographic content on video and eventually online could make for an interesting project and would require a good deal of collaboration with people of all ages and backgrounds.

I support that. I'm very happy that omo.org keeps existing as a thriving and healthy community.

I used to lurk around experience project, Katrina's hold your bladder forum and the hold.it board, but at the time all if them were nearing their existence ( hold.it did last a lot longer, but it had almost no activity) and finding this environment was encouraging, showing me that as a uncommon taste as you have, you're never alone.

This is a nice idea, but I think the story might be more mundane than you'd hope for. Certainly it would be interesting to hear from Maki about the creation of the forum and the earliest days, but I'd also understand if that's not something he wants to go into.

I've been a member of the forum since late 2012. We went from having an IRC chat to having a Slack to having a Discord, and superficially the site has evolved somewhat but the content and overall community vibe have stayed pretty constant, at least in my opinion.

As far as interesting/controversial events, a recurring theme is folks posting fiction in "Wetting Experiences." I've watched various personalities build popularity by doing so until a reality check comes for them - different people each time, but the pattern always the same. Other sorts of drama periodically crop up, but in the interest of the community it's probably best not to gravedig that stuff. Out of respect to those involved, leaving past drama in the past is the responsible, if boring, thing to do.

legal battle?  Really?  That's the first i'm hearing of such a thing.

I saw something about this a while back.  Basically it was a statement by Maki saying something along the lines of these rumors of a legal battle are absurd, no such battle exists, and the omorashi discord and this site are all part of the same entity, and that he is not, in fact, suing himself.

Edit: Here his the link to the statement I referenced-

Jump cut to fifteen heavyset men standing separately in a room. A single attractive woman arrives and immediately flees the area upon witnessing the situation.

I'd also love a history, like how it got set up and people's motivations.

Oh and while I would not attend OmoCon, I'd definitely supply wet panties as party favours 🙂

For us 15 "fluffy" men 😉  Ill take it, gotta start somewhere.

This is why I wouldn't go to such a convention if there was one, lol.

Kicking the omo convention idea in the ballz!

Hence why its 15 "fluffy" guys hanging out in some random room sniffing RachelKirwan's panties😆

You gotta start somewhere, the idea of a con has many pitfalls including the gender differences, logistics, security (big one), entertainment and let alone attendance and funding... its still a thing I hope to see one day even if that day is when I have acquired the "fluffy" dad-bod, grey hair and complete incontinence being on security details 😉
