I would love to have this video. I made an account but I don’t know know how much points this video translates to in USD. Point total is 7,866 and the video is over 3 hours long. 1,748 points a piece. Can you help me get this video?

The conversion is around 120 pts to the US dollar. A 7866pt video is actually 8653pts after tax which is around $70.

I wrote a guide to help other people purchase videos from Jade. However, if you are still having issues, you can transfer the $70 to me via paypal or venmo and I can buy it for you.

Sites like that sure are sketchy, but I decided to risk it this one time (at least payment was handled by a known file hoster via paypal and not the blog itself) and it turns out to be the legit video. Uploading right away.

As a note: I would not have risked direct payment on a sketchy site, but I found that part OK.  I wasn't sure though whether the password would really work, and whether it was really the correct video. But I really wanted this one, and it was so much more expensive on jade-net-home that I decided to give it a try. Whoever runs that blog certainly have their costs for the filehosting accounts, and for sourcing the videos, and as they seem to be legit, I'm ok with paying the for getting access to the files.

If anything bad happened, paypal does refunds right?

I'm more concerned about security actually. Will anything happen if i enter into the site itself.

Will Paypal do a refund if "anything bad happens"? I'd say no, not in the strict sense. What bad things could happen?

  • Credit card fraud. That's my main concern, and Paypal addresses that concern, but not with promising refunds. What Paypal does is taking your credit card payment and forward it (for a fee that the vendor pays) to the vendor. So only Paypal ever handles your credit card data, so fraud could only happen either because Paypal was fraudulent, or if they screw up. I consider that highly unlikely, they are a major internet company whose business model relies on being considered trustworthy.
  • You don't get what you pay for, and are therefore ripped off. In theory, Paypal also covers this to a degree (that mostly work out with legit ecommerce vendors). I'll try to describe why I don't think you could enforce Paypal customer protection in this specific case.

How this actually works and who is involved:

  • there is the person providing the videos and running the blog (I call him "blog")
  • there's file hosting company "fileboom", that hosts large files
  • there's file hosting company "takefile", that offers to host files that the uploader sells to downloaders
  • the blog encrypts every video file into a password protected ".rar" archive
  • the blog uploads these files to fileboom, and publishes the links on the blog
  • you can download these files from fileboom, either for free at an annoyingly slow speed, or by purchasing a premium account from fileboom, and then you download with fast speed. You can pay  the premium account with Paypal (or directly). If Fileboom doesn't provide you premium access after you pay, I guess you can get Paypal to refund it. But as soon as you successfully downloaded the files, Paypal and Fileboom don't care whether the files are actually the correct and working video archives.
  • the blog saves the password to a text file and sells it on takefile, link is added to the blog post. Download speed does not matter here, as these files are tiny. Takefile is acting as an agent between you and the blog, but the deal is: you pay takefile via paypal for access to the linked file. Paypal probably could cover if you can't download the file then, but if you do, both takefile and paypal have fullfilled their part. You have no guarantee though that the file actually contains the correct password.

So you can purchase the password, and purchase a premium download account, and can be reasonably sure that your credit card will only be charged the posted amounts and won't be misused. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't have done it.

But what if the video files don't work, are low quality, are a different video etc? What is if the password doesn't work to open the .rar files? Fileboom has made no guarantees whatsoever, and won't help you. If takefile is taking their job seriously, they should be obligated to help you - but people host pirated porn with them, so how serious and customer oriented are they really?

Even Paypal should be interested that vendors like takefile create a good customer experience. But we are talking about purchasing passwords for pirated porn content - porn that most would consider very extreme, and which might not be legal to sell in every country. Would you really want to take this up with Paypal, or even takefile? So I assume if that was the case, you're on your own. That's the risk I was talking about, I was lucky, everything worked out, but if that was not the case, I'd be out of the twenty bucks, and maybe would've learned a lesson.
