Shoulder pain

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Sometimes, I lay in my bathtub / shower combo with my feet up on the wall, legs spread, hands under my butt so the drain doesn't jab me in the back. I let the faucet pound me with water until I need to orgasm, then I pee on my body before scooting back under the stream of water for a hands-free orgasm.

Last time I did this, when I was done, I felt a pain in my shoulder when I lifted myself back up.

Has this happened to anyone after masturbating in the bathtub? What an embarrassing reason to have pain! Is this just a shoulder strain? Mostly the top of my left shoulder hurts, and it isn't a rotator cuff issue.

Thank you to anyone who offers insight.

There are several muscles working when you lifting yourself like Tricep/Shoulder/Upper back muslces. Maybe you weren't stretched/warmed up enough.  Second thing is that orgasm strain your muscles but you already have strained muscles because of holding your back up and they are double strained.

So maybe  next time try a little warm up or put something under your back to release arms.

While I feel bad for you, it's kind of good to know that I'm not the only one to injure myself whilst masturbating in the bathtub.

Having sexual relations with the (fixed) shower head proved to be my undoing. That type of gymnastics was significantly easier in my twenties....

If your shoulder feels better with heat, and mild painkillers (NSAIDs like Ibuprofen) actually help, it's likely to just be a strain. Have that checked out when it lasts longer than a few days, though.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!

Sorry if that came across as harsh, but I just lost a close family member.  Their initial symptom was shoulder pain, which they put off as being muscle aches from a previous injury they had a few months earlier when riding bike, simply being aggravated by their resting position.  It turns out they had an inflammatory cancer that had spread to their bones, but the only symptom they had was aches and pains.

You can never know for sure if it is just a muscle ache, or something more severe... And no one on this forum could possibly diagnose the actual cause.  The only way to know is to be examined by a doctor.

HOLY CRAP. The image is hilarious, but I know the action itself was not. I'm so sorry! Are you okay?

Or rather, were you okay then? I'd hope you're okay by this point. :)

No, it wasn't harsh! I appreciate you saying it, because it's very important to get checked out. Thankfully, it's just a minor strain that has caused temporary reduced motion in the shoulder. (The specialist I saw said it a lot more eloquently and scientifically, lol)
