Thinking of desperation situations when reading innocent things

Recommended Posts

Most days I like to check in on the news. Now and again my imagination runs a little bit too much Omo related though and when reading innocent stories I suddenly wonder if anyone might have been desperate to pee as a result.
For example there has been bad weather here in the UK and I was reading tonight about a bridge that has been closed due to high winds. The only diversion is over 28 miles long and along slow A roads that are not very fast moving. My first thought was that someone not knowing the bridge was closed might have been needing to pee and now suddenly faced with a rather unexpected long delay and now be bursting to go but have to hold on much longer.
does anyone else ever read innocent stuff and think like this too?

Constantly. Mostly in fictional things where a character is trapped or busy for ages and a need to pee is never mentioned. Currently working on a story like this: Not EXACTLY an omo story, rather a supernatural action story that doesn't completely skip over the fact that bladders exist. Kind of an experimental thing, not really porn but also kind of porn. Hopefully it comes out good.

I often do, like in the Equestria Girls episode "Holidays Unwrapped" when Rainbow Dash appears from inside a snowman at the end of a segment that doesn't even revolve around her (main focus is Pinkie and Sunset trying to get a souffle to Rarity), and when her sneak attack is unsuccessful she says "No fair! I spent two days as a snowman for that!" Then she's hit with a snowball and falls down, Pinkie and Rarity laugh, the segment ends, and this is never mentioned again. Played for laughs and meant to be taken in an innocent and cartoonish way because there's no way she could do this without getting hungry, frostbitten, and really tired, not to mention someone like her would be super bored with it and not find the sneak attack worth it all, but realistically she would have wet her snow pants (and skintight pants underneath) at least twice, so I can't stop thinking that she actually did even though Rule of Funny probably kept her dry in canon just as it kept her warm. Plus later in the episode she says "I have to go to the bathroom" as an excuse to get a last-minute gift for Fluttershy, makes it hard for me not to think of that.

Also in moments where someone - usually a female character - is startled or terrified I often imagine a fear wetting. (And then it actually happened in one such instance in Supernatural with one of the female guest stars saying "Did anyone else wet themselves?")

And of course any time someone's tied up, etc.

I sometimes think about scenarios in which a woman could end up having an accident. For instance, I wondered if the North Korean traffic women ever weed in their uniform skirts while having to stand to attention at a formal event; I'm sure it's happened occasionally. Some women are actually quite accident prone, so there are plenty of scenarios where something embarrassing could happen, even one as simple as a woman coming home bursting to wee or poo and finding her boyfriend in the toilet, and losing control due to latchkey incontinence being "almost there".

All the time.

It is mostly when reading fiction, well, because my kink mostly sparks to life by me imagining my favourite characters in desperate situations. So when in books or fanfiction a character has been hurt or sick and was said to have been out for hours or days and then they wake up and are NOT bursting or NOT wet and it just gets brushed over I always am like "Oh, come oooon."

That may be the reason why I never brush over it in my own writing, even when it doesn't have Omo elements, people will still need to go to the bathroom now and then when it isn't a oneshot set in a short amount of time, so it is normally done pretty subtle BESIDES when it is hurt/comfort with physical whump where the whumpee needs help getting to the bathroom.

Yes! Pretty much all the time, really. There's been a lot of (not weather related) traffic chaos around here in the last few days with lots of discussion on social media and in the news about how long it's taking people to get home. I can't help but think that quite a few of them must have been really struggling! I usually end up trying to imagine how someone might be desperate in pretty much any day-to-day scenario.

Same here 🤭

Also, whenever I see news about long lines or crowds in airports, train stations, banks, public services, etc, I always wonder if there is someone who needs the bathroom but is too close to embark or to being serviced that they choose to wait.

Not even stories, when I see someone going to the bathroom during class or something, my mind just goes around to think about things like how desperate they might have been or what would have happened if they couldn't go

Far too often. Most times when there are long stretches of characters being trapped in something and it's like "Oh, no we've been trapped for eight hours in there and it somehow turned out to be more romantic because we shared feeling and all of that."
No, you were drunk and one of you probably has a very wet back now or something.

I do keep this in mind for my own writing too. Although I don't want it to be an Omorashi story. But I think I have about eight mentions of needing to go or pee related things so far, maybe someone will notice at some point😅. It's all plot and character related though. And one time I'm literally just poking fun at the fact no one needs the bathroom in works of fiction.

But imagining my antagonist squirming during important meetings and such while trying to keep up appearences is amazing. Being all bold and elegant while there is a raging ocean inside of her.

Like a published story, or something you'd put here? Definitely interested either way.

I do this often, including many of the situations mentioned above.  When reading a murder mystery, quite often a central character is busily going here and there and there may be details of what he eats and drinks, but he never uses a toilet.  I've been tempted to copy a page from such a story and inserting his need to pee, even including some dialogue.

Wow..so hppy to read all the responses from you all..it's good to know I'm not the only one who does that !?

And to answer your question: litterally a.l.l. the time ! (up to a point even when I was afraid someone would be able to tell what I was thinking about by just looking at me ..Now wouldn't that be embarressing ?)

I have been in public reading or whatever and the events in the story led my mind there. I suddenly noticed the beginnings of an erection.  I quickly put the thoughts out of my mind , worried someone would notice, and be totally creeped out.
