Angusburger 155
I would have thought Europe was the leader in gender equality because most if not all women can’t use urinals or be willing to use them and street urinals are free while many bathrooms cost money in Europe. Are women jealous or disgusted by these in Europe? I saw them in Amsterdam recently and a group of guys casually went out in the publc while girls in theIr group waIted on the side. There was little privacy for women to use them. I am just amazed that liberal cities like Amsterdam and Stockholm would have them because it doesn’t really seem progressive to me and I wouldn’t find it fair as either a man or woman Edited February 1, 2020 by Angusburger (see edit history) Quote Link to comment

Bulge_Lover 1,909
Yeah it's pure misogyny. The people in charge know that men will pee anywhere including in the street and on buildings, but women will usually choose to hold it, so they design something that stops the "problem" while ignoring women completely. nappypants 1,402
A woman's street urinal is a nappy, or her pants 😉 MM68063 1 Quote Link to comment
CarmenCD 1,363
Women are much more reluctant to pee out in the open, but most men on the other hand, would pee just anywhere when they get desperate enough. Quote Link to comment
NotDusty 182
I would imagine it's at least partially because there's far less infrastructure associated with installing a simple block of urinals out in the open compared to a proper toilet block with cubicles etc. that you would need to provide for women, as unfair as it undoubtedly is. BladderLad 1,463 Posted February 1, 2020 ✨ Legendary Member Share Posted February 1, 2020 I remember visiting Stockholm back in 80s and seeing men’s street urinals- I had never seen anything like them before! now a newer version is common in Uk cities late at night i think they are a pragmatic / misogynist solution to the problem of street pissing from men, but agree that it doesn’t much think about the need on woman Quote Link to comment
Skirt Accident 279
Women are allowed to use them. They would just end up most likely making a mess, so they usually don't. Quote Link to comment

Yes and sadly these days if people complain they are probably more likely to remove the urinals for men than install (more expensive) facilities for the ladies. So we’ll end up with equality but with the original problem of men peeing everywhere returning. Quote Link to comment
Ms. Tito 1,568
This is a real bruh moment. Also paying for the bathroom? That's just theft. Uncool. Quote Link to comment
