what do you think on the price of the videos?

personaly i think it's very too expensive, i'm willing to pay 30-40$ to subscribe to a site with a lot of video. 10-15$ for 1 video, it's very abusive

What do I think about the price of videos? Well... As a producer of fetish videos, I am probably going to approach this question from a different point of view.

First, I do not disagree with you.  I think asking $10 to $15 for many videos is a bit much.  So much of what you have on Clips4sale, just a model standing in a bathtub, face hidden, and shot poorly on a phone hardly seems worth it to me, not with all the content freely available online.

However, once you start looking at videos that have some effort behind them, we have to consider how much should a content creator be compensated for their work.  Considerable investment can go into making a video- There is the equipment required, a filming location, lighting, and pulling off the execution of a scene in a way where everything works.  Then there is the matter of how much a model should be compensated for putting themselves out there and doing these things on camera where it could live on the internet forever.

With Clips4sale, unfortunately, most videos will only sell a few times.  There is so much competition on C4S that pricing a clip low won't really make a difference, it is still likely to only sell two or three times.  If that clip is $10 and it sells only 3 times, and Clips4sale takes their 40%, that leaves the producer with just $18.  Then after paying taxes that is going to come down to around $12.  When you balance that against the effort that has to go into making the clip, and the investment in equipment, wardrobe, and location, I can respect the decision to charge $10 to $15 per clip.

like i said, i prefer a website like hdwetting that i can pay each month, it cost me the price of 2-3 videos on clips4sale and i can view all the site content.

do you think there's a way to do it like youtube? make a free site with publicity on each video and give some money to the creators

Back in... I want to say 2014... I thought about doing a free site like Youtube and do pretty much what you described.  Unfortunately, the economics of the situation just don't work out.  You would need such a huge audience to even just break even, and when you factor in the costs of hosting all the content versus how much you make through advertising, you just wouldn't be able to cover your costs.  Many people don't know this, but Youtube actually isn't profitable.  For Google, Youtube is a long term investment, but something that they are losing money on every day right now, and that is the largest video site in the world.  PornHub, the largest adult video site, doesn't publicly report their finances, but even they rely on selling premium access and subscriptions.

The issue with most of the producers on Clips4sale is that they are producing their videos on a one-off basis, so there isn't going to be much profit there.  To make money doing this, you really need some way of scaling up and becoming incredibly efficient, but that is really hard when there is so much competition.

there's so many good video on clips4sale but i cannot pay 10-15$ each video, i will be bankrupt in no time. So do you think a site like that can charge a monthly fee and pay the creators?

Well, once you charge a fee and pay the creators, you are on your way to having a regular membership site model.  The next step in making things more efficient would be to consolidate the production, so instead of each creator individually investing in different locations and production equipment you could bring just the models together to work with a single production crew at a scheduled time and shoot several scenes at a single location.  But this is exactly what a typical membership site, like HD Wetting, does.

and what you think is the best way to make money? having a store on clips4sale or have your own website?

The best way to make money, I think, is to put together a site like Clips4sale or PornHub where you get to make money without having to create any of the content or make any investments in content production.

From the point of view of the content creators, though, I'm not entirely sure what the best way to monetize content is.  Or, even if there is one single way to do it that is optimal.  A lot seems to depend on how often you are producing content, who the audience is, and what kind of investment you want to make in producing new content. If all you want to do is make a lot of cell phone videos of standing in a tub and wetting, like so many other videos, the best option might be to do a membership site where members could access all your content for a single price.  On the other hand, if you are doing something that is really unique, or have a core group of hardcore fans who are going to buy whatever you put out, doing Clips4sale or something similar might be your best bet.

Another matter to consider is promotional efforts.  If you are just making videos and publishing them, without an audience, no one will know to buy your videos.  Simply making the content and having it be available isn't enough.  Content creators also have work to build an audience.  If you don't want to put much effort into building an audience, something like Clips4sale would probably be best, as it already has an audience and users are more likely to stumble upon your content without any extra effort on your part.  Running your own website, however, takes more effort in this regard.  You can build a website, but that doesn't mean anyone will know that it exists.  How much work you are willing to put into promotion, and what strategy you use, has a significant impact on what the best way to monetize content is.

There are other models possible, but I don't know how well they would work.  One idea would be to have a site like Clips4sale setup creator spaces- Studios that already have sets and lighting and production gear available where models could come create their own content for selling on the site, but not have to handle all the production and location costs themselves.  This would allow them to sell their content for less while still making the same profit.  I'm also working on a long term project right now that will change the way I monetize my content, it is somewhat unique and not something that I have seen anyone else doing, at least not in the same way, but I don't want to say too much about it until I am closer to launching.  It is a very long term project and I am nowhere close to having it done.
