IAmCrazy132 28
Moving into a place with hardwood floors in a couple weeks, and I'm wondering- how easy is it to clean puddles on hardwood? I'm used to not fully wetting since I don't want to stain the carpet, or doing it in the bathtub, but will it be easier to clean hardwood? Quote Link to comment
Stanley79 636
If the hardwood has a traditional finish, any liquid standing on it more that a couple minutes seeps into wood pours. The standard repair.is power sanding off the stain and refinishing the entire floor. Some more recent.finishes "seal" the wood. That leaves a plastic-like layer over the wood. Such for almost never stain. However, there's far more than two types of finishes. I hope someone can tell us how to identify finishes and.more about protecting and cleaning them.
