Overabudance of female omo?

I think the issue is more that sometimes people forget to tag and then get downvoted /attacked? Don’t see why anyone would deliberately try to mislead anyone? We only post content for positive feedback so what would be the point? Also when female content is not labelled the person posting doesn’t get the same criticism which is clearly unfair

Unfortunately, I feel that some people get a rise out of shock value.  However, your point about female content not tagged being more acceptable is in line with what TVGuy said, there there is likely more straight males that care about what they are clicking on.  Others are less offended by female content.  I know many women who either don't mind or will watch other female content.   I don't think it's the same for males.  I know for me personally, seeing male content is a turn off.  I'd prefer the warning.

I agree, it's so annoying. And what also annoys me, is when people complain about what few male content is out there, when they say: "it would have been better if it were a female." Or when people ask

Inactive poster, but been lurking around for some time. I'm male with preference for male content. Over the years, I sense that this site is getting increasingly hostile to male content. When new

It is a bit ironic because those who complain about male omo are  ........wait for it......... other MALES. I know they don't like it because they're straight and tend to watch female omo more, so do

Seconded. Notice how someone only interested in female content feels comfortable enough to click on an untagged post to begin with, assuming that it's female. I agree that it's reasonable to assume that the default for untagged content on this site is female, which is why I don't typically click on it.

I see that- just wonder why the site can’t be designed so you can’t post content without labels? That would then prevent the hostility being able to happen?

There isn't any paid male content because it is unprofitable. It's as simple as that.

There isn't much amateur content because there is a lack of positive female feedback. Say a straight male posts a video. It will most likely be downvoted by straight men and there will be a few comments from gay men. There is a small chance that a female will even comment on the video. I don't think most straight men would have a problem with gay men liking their video or the downvotes from straight men, but I also don't think it would motivate them to produce more. They are making the content to please women.

I just wonder why straight men would down vote, rather than just ignore? Also why out of interest would females not comment?

That's a good point. And it doesn't have to be a binary male/female distinction either.

I’m not techy but sure it must be possible? I like that the site being mixed, but do find the attitudes of some people on here unpleasant sadly ☹️

I have to say my own feelings on this male topic are, well going back a few years ago when some of the old online boards and sites were so very active there did seem almost a real hatred and there was a really good deal of unpleasantness if anyone posted male type wetting stuff! That kind of made me very and extremely wary of posting my own content. I have to say I do feel so much happier here re how the whole male side of this is delt with and it only takes one positive comment from another here to a post to make me feel really good about posting stuff I think for me it would be great if the male side of things did get a few more positive comments its a huge morale booster to know people like this stuff And you are not doing something wrong in posting this male content! Thanks to everyone who makes this site so great and a happy place to come to share all this. Kev.

Or when people ask for male content, and others respond with "I don't have male content, but check out this female video." Also, a few years ago I was working on an omo game, with a male protagonist, and when I mentioned it here, a bunch of guys were on top of it saying it should have a female protagonist instead, when there's plenty of female omo games, and when I mentioned that, they were rude about that too. I understand women are preferred, because were the more sexualized gender in general, but let those who enjoy male content have their interests too.

It is a bit ironic because those who complain about male omo are  ........wait for it......... other MALES. I know they don't like it because they're straight and tend to watch female omo more, so do I. But i'm one of those straight guys who also enjoy to watch male omo with a good desperation scenario, of course. So, in general we, straight men like to watch female omo simply because we are attracted to women sexually, romantically etc. and this can be the reason for this, or is it? (I will talk more about this in another comment)

Imagine this scenario: men who don't like male omo at all that they don't want to see posts about this either, only female. But they also enjoy being desperate and wet themselves. What happens next? They wet themselves for pleasure, take pictures and post them here, hoping that some women will give them a nice feedback. And my question is: If they do that, isn't like they're gonna get negative feedback from each other just because they simply post these pictures for the SAME PURPOSE?

I don't know if this happens for real, i really don't assume that. I just wanted to show you how absurd this scenario can be.

Measuring supply and demand when it comes to kinky content is difficult.  There aren't really good metrics out there for what people really want to see.  You can also make a lot of money on something that has a very small audience as long as you do it really well.  Not having a lot of demand for male omo also means there aren't a lot of competitors offering it.

I don't want to argue, because I actually agree with you where you say that it is difficult to measure. To elaborate on that - making a lot of quality stuff (and by quality I mean what people enjoying male omo really seek) from a lot of producers won't create adequate demand for it. Because - as you have written - this is kinky stuff, fetishes, something that can hardly be marketed to you as something cool, available, that you must "own" ... I'm sorry I'm unable to put this idea to words better. I hope you catch my drift.

Downvoting content because it has the opposite gender that you prefer is like someone who hates omo downvoting an omo story on a fanfiction site due to the content, without reading it. If I see an un-tagged post, and discover it's male content, I just leave without making a fuss and let those who are into male omo enjoy it. And if it has a male tag, I simply won't click it, unless I think it'd be interesting despite my usual preference.

That’s how I am. It seems illogical to downvote a post simply because it’s not something you’re into, especially in a community built around open-mindedness. There are enough threads on these forums that everyone who likes omo can find something they’re into if they look hard enough. Once I (hopefully) get the ability to downvote on this site, I am going to use that power responsibly.

The cliche phrase “There are other fish in the sea” pretty much perfectly sums up everything we have been saying. People really need to keep that in mind.

I think males become less likely to share content on this site because it tends to get limited feedback, when this happens, logically you start to think nobody is interested so what is the point? When I have shared vids on other sites in the past ( tumblr, xtube etc) there is much more appreciation. Reading comments  on here ; there clearly is interest though!!

I will always try to leave a reply or an upvote on any content (but primarily the male content and the content not getting that many reactions) for exactly that reason. If I enjoy something, be it a book, a piece of cake or a desperation/wetting video - I admit, this may be a weird comparison - it is always good to let the person/creator know you appreciate their work. If I write something on this forum, I greatly enjoy the responses I and questions I get.

I may not always leave a comment, but your reaction is showing me (and hopefully others) exactly why it is important to do so for the content you like.

I think it depends on the general userbase of the site. Tumblr skews female, so most omo content is male. I don't kow how active the omorashi group on Deviantart is right now, but it used to be very male-focused as well.

Omo.org has (probably) more male users which turns some women off right away. It also seems to be somewhat focused on rl omo/essentially porn, which is not what a good deal of the community likes, because they don't see it as porn and more as a nonsexual trope like h/c, whump etc. I don't think it's wrong for a site to be more focused on one or the other, but since tumblr has gone crazy with their adult content ban, there isn't really a place for those who used to have their own little groups on tumblr, instead of a "big" site like omo.org. I disagree with the notion that women are not into porn or kink, because they are, but omo.org does have a bit of a...let's say "target audience". Again, nothing wrong with that, but it turns some people off. That's just how it is.

I have nothing against this site, but even I usually go to Ao3, Tumblr (the remnants of it) or sometimes Pixiv (though it's extremely female focused too) for my omo.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but I might want to respond to a few of your points to clarify from my own (female) point of view.

1) I'm female but not necessarily turned off by the number of males on this forum. I have found this forum to be - out of the platforms I've experienced - one of the most female-friendly online places. There is a lot of respect for people on the forum, and respect for personal boundaries (also in private messaging, reactions to topics, etc.). This for me is the most important part, and the main reason I greatly enjoy this forum and respect everyone who has a role in managing it.

2) I'm myself mostly interested in real life omorashi (what you refer to as porn) and fictional omorashi stories. On Tumblr and other media, I indeed see a different focus where other aspects are highlighted; but that is also greatly dependent on what other people you follow/interact with, just like your experience on this forum may vary based on the topics you read, and the things you look for.

As a last question - because this is a point that I have not seen anyone make - could it also have to do with the fact that porn/video material, in general, is more accepted in male circles (and thereby male-oriented and thus staring females). It seems (from my limited point of view) that as a male it is more socially accepted to watch porn, be interested in porn etc. (even when not fetish related). Among women, it seems to be more of a taboo subject, which may also "decrease" the market for videos starring men.

I don’t feel like there’s an overabundance, but that’s because I’m into it; there’s definitely a lot more. I personally have no interest in male stuff at all. I expect it’s a combination of the things you listed, and also the fact that girls tend to be less open about this kind of thing and more self conscious about what they are into. Of course, I can’t speak for everyone, but all the guys I know will happily admit they watch porn and some of them are fairly open about at least some of their kinks, but every girl I know keeps all of it secret, sometimes even to very close friends, and some of them choose not to act upon their weirder desires, ignoring them instead.

Theres more female content on this site mostly because any male content creators tend to get harassed about it. Its just this site skewing to be anti-male content.

As others have pointed out, the userbase on this site is heavily skewed to being straight men. Which is fine on its own- but when people like me, guys posting for guys, write about an omo experience and get ignored or harassed, it gets disheartening. I post my stuff mostly on pornhub, fetlife, or snapchat because I actually get a positive reaction there. But here, I went to the live action omorashi thread and saw someone posting about their urge, then later mentioning they were a guy (they’d been neutral beforehand, and no one had asked their gender), to seeing someone saying that was enough and they were done responding. Like... at the bare minimum, that was super uncalled for and rude.

I think it boils down to the fact straight men, in general, get way more defensive about how straighy they are, where gay men or any sexuality of women don’t feel that same obligation to defend their sexuality. Like, no one cares how straight you are. But unfortunately, when met with gay content they weren’t expecting, it just seems to be commonplace for straight guys to point out “I dont want to see this” instead of ignoring it like literally everyone else.

So this negative attitude on this site mostly just scares away any male content creators. I’m bisexual and I come here when I’m in the mood for girl content, or in the much more male-friendly sub group of the Omutsu section. But, I wouldnt post here after seeing how defensive the vocal group of straight guys get.

Totally agree but please don’t be put off! The more people who post Male content and upvote/ comment the better for all of us! Glad this post has got so many people commenting on this!! 🙂

That's a good point. It's funny too, because the same ones who complain about gay content, are the ones who demand more when it comes to lesbian content. Like, if you're going to sit there and be a homophobe towards gay content, then don't come demanding for more lesbian content. The majority of the males that are like this are the ones who scare women away when they blast them with pm's, with their wildest fantasies. And then wonder why women are more scarce here. I'm just sick of the entitled people who act like this place should be all female content, and people who feel differently should f out of the place. This place is a great community because it features both male and female content, and I don't like seeing it become so hate-filled from one side to another, all over preference. We are a community who all share something in common. Let's all just get along and mutually respect what's here, and if someone posts something you don't like, simply don't click it, or click out of it. Don't harass the poster because it's not content you wish to see.

Ghost13 is spot on; so many straight guys are so uptight about accidentally seeing something they think is gay—even in the privacy of their own homes—that they need to yell about it to prove they’re not gay to whatever invisible scorekeeper they imagine is keeping track. (I say this as someone who skews straight myself but enjoys content from both genders.) I’m so sick of the entitled and self-righteous heteronormativity I often see here.

A note to the straight men here: if you click on something that wasn’t what you assumed it was, just move on and shut up about it. No one wants to read your thread-derailing bitching about it.

I have recently started making videos 🙂 I only made 2 so far, but I do have one available on site, as well as PornHub, but it's been somewhat of a small passion to try and make some omo content. I'm not a fan of male omo myself, but I'm happy to make imo videos for people who do enjoy male omo 😂

That would be very welcome 🙂

There do seem to be a lot of female users here. And we want to make them feel at home, especially since some of them might not be as confident about speaking of their fetishes or coming onto a fetish site, but, like me, want somewhere where they can speak of it and not feel ashamed. But some are confident enough to post their own experiences, pictures, etc. And, there is a lot of male content too, even in pictures and videos.
