thegone 3
Hi guys! I've got a thing for videos in which the participants refer to their diapers as "nappies" (stemming from my UK nature), but I'm having trouble finding any DL content which features that word. Even UK based DL content uses the word "diaper" more than it does "nappy" (which in itself, I have no quarrel with - it's just I prefer the word nappy lol) If you guys could point me towards some places where the word "nappy" is used a bit more, I'd be rather grateful. nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment
Barry 1,608
Can't help you with videos I'm sorry. But I just wanted to say that I agree with you. As an Australian, I was bought up using the word "nappy," and it's my preferred term, although I have no qualms with saying diaper. "Dummy" is another one. I prefer that over pacifier. nappypants 1,405
Yeah, annoyingly they nearly always say "diaper" even when they're British, as I guess the American market is larger, and "nappy" has a different meaning over there. Quote Link to comment
lmhawk 14
Maybe this won't be as exciting for you, but if you go onto youtube and search "Nappies for everyone", you'll get sucked down a rabit hole of crude animations about older kids forced to wear nappies, or, as we call them on this side of The Pond, diapers.
