ItalianGuy 3
I have read that many of us prefer to buy online diapers to avoid the embarrassment in the shop an with the cashier. For me it is an important part of the experience: the fear to meet someone who knows you, the cashier looking at you, your heart beating, arriving at home and finally closing the door and putting your precious package in a safe place! It is so exciting! supernerd222 and maybeDL 2 Quote Link to comment
juntaglom 100
I mean, I think that's a nice fantasy, but the selection of a brick and mortar store is lacking, and if you do happen to meet somebody that you know, you'll always be uncomfortable around that person. Trust me, I know. Quote Link to comment
supernerd222 215
I totally get that. The awkwardness of buying diapers at the store is intoxicating, imagining what people are thinking of you while you stand in line, trying to play it cool while paying. I don't get off to it in a sexual way, but it's like an adrenaline rush. Last time I did it though, an old lady tried to strike up a conversation about it in the checkout line, and that was way, way over the awkwardness line for me. I haven't felt like doing it since, but maybe I'll get over it. Quote Link to comment
LunasAuditor 163
Yeah the adrenaline isn't really what I like about the whole thing so I prefer to buy my supplies discretely, but I can definitely see the appeal if the risk is part of what you enjoy! Quote Link to comment
