Mostly indifferent. The ruling party does some things right and some things wrong. Most people are fairly positive towards them because of improving standards of living since the 1980s, but some peopl

I remember taking this test years ago and felt it was pretty accurate as I pretty much remember I had almost the exact same results as the poster above me @herrokitty as sort of an anarcho socialist o

I'm not going to post the results from the test, (to lazy lol, maybe later) but I can tell you that I am a libertarian in the USA. I believe the government should focus on defending our rights as free

This seems to suggest that the majority of the users of this forum are left leaning.

That's something to be expected, I've noticed.  There's a correlation between extreme sexual tastes and more left-leaning political inclinations, but there are exceptions to the rule (I'm lib-right for example, but I can get along with most people as long as they aren't directly causing problems for me personally).

I've heard the political compass is garbage.

It does seem to have a bias towards the left in how certain things are weighted.  It puts way too much weight on social stances but doesn't allow any nuance.  For instance, yes, I  believe it's a good thing to help the less fortunate, but with caveats: it should be optional instead of mandated by government decree, it should be a hand up instead of a hand out (reward initiative, not laziness), if it's organized at all it's best if local organizers rather than the central government oversee the allocation of resources and funds (it tends to be more efficient that way), and sometimes the best form of help we can give to people is just to get out of their way.

New poll! Where do you stand politically? A for conservative, B for libertarian, C for Republican (They're actually technically just right wing liberals), D for Democrats, E for Socialists, F for Anarchists (Guilty as charged, baby!), G for Communist, H For Centralist, Or I for other (explain). I want to see the main politics of my main community!

If you don't yet know, you can just take this quiz (http://www.politicalcompass.org/) and post results. It put me radical down and leaning to the right from the y axis so I'm an Individualist Anarchist.

I'm not a fan of that particular website because, last time i checked, none of the questions do a particularly good job at testing for left-wing authoritarianism. A better website that i discovered is iSideWith.com, although it's only really applicable to people living in the US as it's intended purpose is to help Americans figure out which politicians they most closely align with.

Personally, i tend to lean Libertarian-Left. I'm relatively progressive in my views on economic issues, but more libertarian when it comes to cultural issues.

Exactly how I’d describe myself just a little right of center. Pretty socially liberal and a little more economically less restrictive. Really I take a lot from both sides. That being said I think that most people here are going to be more left leaning which I have NO issues with at all. That’s the biggest problem we have today is no one values the fact that people simply have a different opinion as you and that is OKAY. One thing is for sure even though we are all around the political spectrum we all agree on one thing here on this website!!!

Thought I would be much more on the right economically, though my understanding of economics is very limited xDScreenshot_1780.png.25dc70442957bd800121b3154d371548.png

I personally dont take sides, i listen to what everyone has to say and make my own opinion using my own judgment, i feel like labeling yourself leftist or rightist unconsciously creates a bias where you're more likely to question the opposing side and less likely to question your own, its not very productive '^^ at the end of the day we should all formulate our own thoughts (forgot the expression for it, been looking for it for 20 minutes, argh) and think independently, way too many people nowadays are manipulated!

I'm a capitalist loving, second american gun nut who loves smoking pot, believes healthcare is a human right and part of the Goverments mandate to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and believes that the environment needs to be saved, but I think EV is shit and I am highly skeptical by the notion that humans are primarily responsible. Idk where that puts me. Oh, and black lives matter, that's a fact, but Black Lives Matter the organization, you're lying, cheating, racist communists that took a meaningful movement and turned it into a corporation. Shame on you.
