Imouto Bouquet 581
*Okay, so I didn't exactly fit by the 5 day deadline I set myself this time. =P However, delaying did allow me to finally get a winning result to the ties of 1 vote for nearly every option. Anyways, on with the story.* *Winning Vote: Checking Emi's Status* Emi's earlier actions with her seemingly pained abdomen have sparked your concern for her safety. You ask your partner if you may check her over with your scanners to see if she's as healthy as she makes out to be. "Check me over with what?" She asked as she cocks her head to the side inquisitively. You try your best to explain how the scanners work in a way which a child would understand. Eventually, she seems to get the idea. "It sounds a little invasive but, if you're really that worried about me, I guess I can't really say no, can I?" You remind her that she can, indeed, decline if she so wishes to, however, she seems certain that she would allow the scan to go through. You hover over the gap in the flooring once more to reach a close enough distance to scan her over. After some whirring, beeping and clicking, a beam of green light emits forth from the camera drone and sweeps over Emi's body. Lots of complicated coding appear on the screen of the camera before a 3d wireframe image of Emi is projected for your eyes only. You pull out all the pertinent information from the scan. "Start|| Health: Fine Mood: Wary, Afraid, Nervous Morale: 62% (Good) Trust: 55% (Average) Hunger: Satisfactory *Emi will maintain this stat* Thirst: Light *Emi will maintain this stat* Focal Point: Abdomen - Front: Medium bruising caused by expected impact from spherical leather object. Suggest - Ball. No lasting damage. Expected mild-medium discomfort caused by stretching or lifting heavy objects. Suggest - Ignore lifting anything heavy for more than 3 minutes to prevent pain. Back: No damage. Other important information: Minor bruising to buttocks from expected collision with flooring from above injury. No lasting damage. No precautions needed." The rest of the scan just listed off some rather personal information which Emi probably wouldn't want you knowing, so you cut it off after the important parts. You informed Emi that the scan has been completed. She looked relieved that it wasn't as bad as she expected. Now your mind has been set at ease, you decided that the investigation should continue. What will you do? Interact (Talk with Emi, use items) Check Inventory Request items to be collected (please state) Continue searching cabinets Help Emi search desks Search the Windows Refresh Status Scan information *This command will allow you to look over any changes to Emi's current status without having to scan her again, as her records are already saved* Check Emi's 'Personal Information' in the scan results Leave the room Other Quote Link to comment

Lets check the cabinets for anything that could be of use... maybe to see if there is anything that could be used as a weapon... better safe than sorry. Zelda.Time96 1 Quote Link to comment
Imouto Bouquet 581
*Back with an update after two weeks, it seems.* *Winning Vote: Continue Searching Cabinets.* There were a few items in the Cabinets which piqued your interest earlier. Now that you know your companion is relatively fine, you decide to go and gather a few import items from the Cabinets, with the main focus being something versatile enough to be used creatively and, also, as a defensive item, if the need should arise. Considering you technically have no hands or storage space in your current Avatar, you ask if Emi could accompany you and pick up items of interest. As she probably won't be able to jump the gap and, honestly, it's far too risky, you escort her around the long way though the outside corridor. Once you reach the door leading back into the Art classroom, you lead the way to the cabinets and light them up with your torch. As before, there are a few art items stored away, and not much else. The only 'real' weapon which is visible would be the Hammer behind the locked cabinet. Aside from the potency of the hammer, the only other pseudo-weapons which remained in this room was a pair of slightly rusty art scissors. The appeared to be in mostly working order and could cause quite some damage if used offensively. Additionally, they possessed enough versatility to be useful in numerous situations which may arise so, out of all the accessible art supplies, these scissors were the most useful. You request Emi picks them up. At first, she seems a little tentative, until, eventually, she decides to collect them. *Rusty Art Scissors added to Inventory* With your newly acquired tool, you have more options open up. You could try and force the doors of the cabinets open by using the scissors you just picked up as a kind of crowbar, but that could be very dangerous to Emi. Additionally, you could try and bust the glass of the cabinets open using the scissors and another item you possess, but that also comes with its own inherent dangers. Or, finally, you could ignore the cabinet for now and investigate elsewhere and, possibly, find something more useful. What will you do? Xygna 15
I'll go with the following options: 1. Ask for a hairpin we can use as a lockpick. If she does not have a hairpin, obviously this won't work. 2. If she is unaware of how to pick a lock, then we should interact with her to explain how. I think that can be done in three sentences. It is a pretty easy process, after all. 3. After we decide whether or not we can pick the lock, we should then search the desks. All kinds of fun things can be found in those. Quote Link to comment
Imouto Bouquet 581
*Update time.* *Winning Vote: Ask Emi if she has hairclips which may be used as lockpicks.* *Second order: Check the desks.* Intent on getting into the locked cabinets, you ask the young girl with you is she has hairclips. You neglect the additional information regarding what you'll be using them for, for now, as such a Criminal act may unnerve the wary girl even more. "Hairclips? Sorry, but I always tended to lose them after P.E so I don't wear them much anymore." Emi informs you. "What'd you want them for? Think we could use them?" There goes the idea of using hairclips as lockpicks. To sate Emi's curious mind, you simply informed her that they could have been quite useful, however, there were plenty of other things which could equally be as useful. After the conclusion that patience may be necessary for the locked cabinets, you escorted Emi back to the other side of the room to help her check through the desks. With a little bit of light helping her, Emi managed to find quite a few things which might serve some kind of purpose. The collection included: A seemingly blank notebook, a strange scrap of folded paper tucked under the seat of a chair and a mathematical compass and protractor set made of metal. All the rest of the things under the desks were uninteresting, or too old to make much out of them. You could just pocket all of these items, as they may come in handy in the future, or you could spend some time examining them, just to ascertain whether they are as useful as they seem. What will you do? Xygna 15
I'll pick to just examine all of the newly collected items before we continue. We need to know what we are dealing with before we can decide what to do. Naturally, if any of those items are useful, we can take them, but we cannot be sure. (Due to rewatching Death Note recently, I am tempted to have her write a name in that notebook to see what happens.) Quote Link to comment

Rinatro 190
Lets refresh the status scan then after that lets search the Windows to see if we can get a general whereabouts we are. For example, can we see the outside and if so how far up are we or are we inside and the window is showing us another room. Lastly as more of a comment, if after we check the window to find it giving us an inconclusive result, we really should leave the room. Imouto Bouquet 581
*Update time.* *Winning Votes: Examine all collected items, refresh status scan.* Before deciding whether it would be wise to carry around items which may not serve that much of a purpose, you decide to examine all the items with your companion. The seemingly blank notebook is, indeed, fully blank, save for a few doodles and scribbles near the back of random things. This book was probably only used when the previous owner was bored with the lesson going on. There was still near enough the entire book free for any notes which someone may want to make. While it may seem like a standard book, it may be useful if used correctly. Making notes may not have been the previous owner's use in mind, one person's rubbish is another's treasure, as the saying goes. The small scrap of paper was mostly scrunched up to fit under the chair but, with some careful delicate finger dexterity from Emi, it was unravelled to reveal a cryptic message: "When four become one, and one becomes four, you will find the key to the door.". It may just be the ramblings of a person caught in delusions of grandeur, considering the book they had with them near the desk, but anything goes in a place like this. The final items were just simple mathematical tools. The edges on them were quite sharp, so it may not be wise to carry them around haphazardly. However, with edges as thin and pointy as them, they may be useful in the future. After all, the point on the compass was still relatively sharp, unlike the scissors. After checking if the items were of any use, you decide to refresh the scanning information you have on Emi. The only change which came over it was a rise in her 'Thirst' Level, from 'Light' to 'Quenched'. That may be because, while you were looking over the items to make sense of them, Emi had decided to drink the remainder of her water, leaving her with a now empty water bottle. As there are no immediate bins in sight, Emi decided to hang onto the bottle. An empty bottle could be useful, or maybe not. However, Emi's partial disregard for the current situation may cause trouble later. Hopefully, it won't. *Change in Inventory: The 'Half Full Water Bottle' has now become 'Empty Plastic Bottle (500ml Capacity)'.* Now that you know what the items are, there is still the issue of learning about the place both of you have been pulled into. What will you do? Imouto Bouquet 581
*Winning Vote: Leave the Room* *Emi's Personal Choice: Take the items* While the items may not have gripped your attention that much, Emi decided that it might be wise to take them along. Even if they are of no use in this current scenario, Emi may still find a use for most of them once you're both safely back where you belong. With one final check over the room, you decided that it'll be wise to leave this particular room and search the rest of the location. After all, there's only so much you can do in a single room. The locked cabinets over the other end of the room still grab your attention and, even with your newly found tools, it may still be difficult to successfully open them without risking Emi's health. Patience is a virtue, and it may help in this situation as well. For all you know, there may be a key to the cabinets somewhere in this strange space. Ushering Emi out of the room, you begin to scan the hallway outside in a little more detail: To both the left and the right, the hallways continues for a while before turning off towards the direction you're currently facing, which is to the left of the right hand hallway if you're walking down it, and to the right of the left hand hallway, kind of in a box shape with a space in the middle. To your immediate right, there's the doorway leading to the locked cabinets. A little further down the hall both ways are two more suspected classrooms due to the layout of the spacing between them and the room you left. To your furthest left, there's what looks like the entrance to a set of stairs leading both up and down. Judging by that, you're more than likely above the ground level, if the holes in the flooring didn't already attest to that. You piece together a small map of the knowledge you currently possess of the layout of the hallway: By the looks of this lacking map, you still have a lot to explore to fully understand the layout of this place. No exploration was ever started by standing around, so you'd better get moving. What will you do, and where shall you begin? It's not the greatest, but Paint's not the best thing for this kind of stuff. It'll be filled in and updated every now and then, so you can request a new map if you want, with all the updated information, if my spaced apart map posts are not to your liking.* Quote Link to comment

Imouto Bouquet 581
*Unanimous vote for Checking personal information and drone being scout.* While the concern for your charge's immediate health has been momentarily abated, you still had some queries in regards to certain, more personal (at least for a girl), issues. While Emi may not be too pleased with this, you decide to probe her 'Personal Information' in scan results. ||Starting Check of Personal Status: Fatigue: Slightly pressing (Injury perhaps cause), Operating at 60% full capacity (estimate) Waste Levels - Bladder: 47% Comfort Levels: Experiencing Mild discomfort (Fatigue/Waste?), No concern for Nausea (at present) Psychological Concerns: Acrophobia - Severe Nyctophobia - Heavy (Turned to 'Mild', Countered by Light and company) Arachnophobia - Mild/Low Phasmophobia - Heavy/Severe Exterior Display: Putting on a strong front to not cause concern. Actual levels indicate fear/discomfort to be more apparent in situations like this for person in question based on brainwaves. Suggest - Comfort may not be best advised at present. Suggest - Keep watch and act if levels become more visible. || These results, while getting them may have been questionable, gave you a better understanding of Emi's current predicament. Judging by the results, it would be wise to not stray too far from her. Taking that into account, for the safety of Emi, you decide to take the lead. Your light should allow for any potential pitfalls to be noticed, but, it may be wise to just avoid them completely, considering. Following the left hand rule of mazes, you decide to head to the first classroom to your left, note as 'Classroom 3' on your self-created map. Along the way, there were a few broken and loose floorboards hovering precariously above pipes and the like, but they did not impede your path. You occasionally ping your sonar to ensure that Emi is keeping quite close by and, thankfully, she's not straying more than a few feet back from you, trying her best to stick to the afterglow of your torch. You turn around once you see the sign indicating the classroom on the ceiling to find the door leading in to the classroom. As a drone, you lack the required limbs so you can't exactly open the door. Seeing as how a tiny drone, no bigger than a small football, can't exactly pose much of a threat to the closed door, Emi reaches over you and give the handle a tug. The door seems like it'll open, but, try as she might, the door won't budge. "I think something's blocking it on the other side." Emi informs you. "We could try the other door." Pinging the sonar once more, you find that, indeed, there is a large obstruction on the other side of the door preventing it from opening. You estimate, based on Emi's parameters, that she could, if she really tried hard enough, move the door open enough for you to slip through, however, it won't come without recourse. What will you do? Interact (Talk with Emi, use items)Check Inventory Ask Emi to push the door open, using all of her might Try the other door for this classroomGive up and head to the other unexplored classroomReenter the previous classroomTry the stairs Round the corner at the end of the hall nearest to the stairs Turn back and round the corner at the other end of the hall near Classroom 1Refresh Status Scan information (will now refresh personal information as well) Use your Sonar to check for anything importantOther *Pinging the Sonar will reveal any physical things Emi could interact with, at it may also warn of incoming corporeal entities.
