Skyrim: Nuclear war edition.

Yep! Better known as best game

-You fence either another player, or a computer player -You make slight progress with each kill -Whoever wins is eaten by a giant worm

An old game for DOSbox

You play as a Samurai, working up the ranks.

You can manage your fief, soldiers, rice tax, etc.

You can choose any clan you want to be in... but you'd be stupid not to join Tokugawa.

It seems to favor using the num pad to move around.

You move slow as shit...

Your commanding officer (Hatamoto, Daimyo, whatever) gives you tasks to perform, wheter it be dealing with assassins, driving off some angry monks, or fighting an invading force.

Having a son in the game is basically getting a Continue.

Accurately to that time period, honor is EVERYTHING!!!

I wish that I knew this, because this game sounds *AWESOME*!

Here's one for you guys...

- You fight zombies.

- You can be multiple characters.

- There are cars.

- It has DLCs that are almost entire games in themselves.

- The considered "main character" of the original game is black (for once).

- The black character's best friend is a white clerk and colleague of his.

- Your starting weapon in the original game is a tree branch.

- One DLC features you as the military.

- Lots of resource management.

Here's a big clue:

-  The clerk (said main character's best friend) very early on mentions how the whole apocalypse is like one big "cannibal family picnic".

See if you can get it WITHOUT Googling the phrase.

What is:  State of Decay?  XD

The game I was talking about was Sword of the Samurai. You can actually get it on Steam.

I'm pretty sure it's the Walking Dead game. I know what he means by "cannibal family picnic"

This is a hard one, but one i played recently.

-You walk in the woods while it's snowing

-You look for a key to see the future

-It's first person

I think that's YearWalk

-It's a Square game.

-You travel back and forth through time.

-Unlike most JRPGs, when you fight enemies, it uses the current screen you are on as the battleground.

-After going back in time once, then returning to the present, you are sent to court for a crime you... kinda committed... but most certainly not in an evil way like they say.

-The world ends in 1999.

Chrono Trigger.  Too easy XD

When you say "Sword of the Samurai", are you referring to the MSDOS game, or the PS2 game?

Never mind, that was a stupid question XD

You're a dude. Probably.

Go out and find the thing, then bring it back.

Wait, everyone is gone.

Go find them.

Holy crap, that dude is huge!

I have absolutely no ides, so I'm taking a stab in the dark: Darksiders II? (Probably so far off the mark.)

Here's one. It's easy:

-Anime game

-Pretty much parodies everything

-You're pretty much playing an anime

-Most of the cast take a dig at one particular character

-Fourth wall does not exist, it's been shattered way too many times.

My scripting on this site no longer works for making codes (such as quoting), but Explosive Turtles, it was not Kenny, Clementine, Lee Everett or any of the other The Walking Dead game characters whom compared the apocalypse to a "cannibal family picnic".

Imagine a poor city boy on a fishing trip at a local low mountain with a red baseball cap swinging a table leg saying it to his best friend, the leader black guy with an afro.

I am nearly GIVING it away at this point, the character whom said the quote was Ed Jones.

-you're some dude in a jail below a random city

-you dream about a spoopy ghost who expects you to know who they are and tells you to magically escape and do the thing

- you escape, and over the course of many quests, explorations, and looting, you become super powerful

-you find the bad guy, destroy his thing, do the thing, and rescue important guy

-revered for eon's.

Did it also include incredibly awesome and addictive multiplayer? If so, then methinks you are describing Halo.

Correct!

But it also can be multiple other game series.

Another one.

-One of the last good RTS games EA Published

-Still has Tournaments to this day

-Only 1 game in the series with a expansion pack

-Major Hint "What Hour is it?"

-Has 3 factions

Wahey, that is correct!

...

Okay, another one:

- Alternative reality where fashions, etc steered off at some point in real history.

- Post apocalyptic, but not a zombie-related disaster.

- Despite this, some unfortunate characters are called zombies.

- RPG type game.

- Part of a long-running series.

- All except one of this series involved non-talking protagonists (physically, that is).

- One very prominent and memorable feature about this game series is a particular form of heavy armour.
