I’m not sure what my goal is here. I guess I’d like advice or suggestions or even just to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. This is something that causes me a lot of distress but I’m embarrassed to talk to my therapist about it, even though she knows broadly that I have a “pee fetish”. Anyway, here goes: Since George Floyd was murdered, I’ve been reading news and social media posts about protests and the subsequent arrests of protestors. Very frequently, almost always, people arrested at protests are held by police for 5 or 8 or more hours at a time in vans or buses without being allowed to use the bathroom, and many people pee themselves. I’ve read many accounts of this since June. Particularly I masturbated after reading an article about the experiences or female arrestees at the BLM protests in LA back in June. I feel awful because on the one hand, that’s my ultimate fantasy (women restrained and forced to piss themselves), but on the other hand, I feel terrible for the people that this actually happens to, and I’m enraged by all the black folks who have been murdered by police this summer (and before too). But I can’t stop thinking obsessively about the stories I’ve read of female arrestees forced to pee themselves, and I feel a mixture of emotions (arousal, anger, depression, shame) constantly. I think about it so much because it arouses me, but I don’t WANT to think about it constantly because my non-sexual self is appalled that people are treated this way by police, and I’m sad for the victims who’ve had to go through it. Is anyone else being driven crazy in this way? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put my mind at ease so I don’t constantly dwell on this stuff and feel so conflicted?
