Hi, padded friends. I'm having some issues with a popular ABDL diaper vendor and it seemed appropriate to share my experience here. First off, I want to explain my previous thoughts about this vendor and what led me to place an order from their website. If you've been following ABDL products for some time you're probably familiar with Rearz' past "naming" controversies. I'll share the links below, but - tl;dr - they tried to trademark the term "ABDL", received a ton of backlash, then tried to trademark "omutsu" - a Japanese word for "diaper" which we also use heavily in the community here. After being called out for their behavior, they actually blocked Omo.org on Twitter (lol). LINKS: https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20180108/07500338956/community-backlash-leads-adult-diaper-company-to-drop-trademark-application-abdl.shtml https://www.omorashi.org/blogs/entry/1491-psa-rearz-inc-attempting-to-trademark-omutsu/ When I heard about all of this, I refused to support or purchase products from Rearz for a long time. I changed my opinion on them eventually, after discussing with a prominent ABDL (Ava Panda / Miss Panda Pants) what she thought of the company in light of the controversies. She informed me Rearz is owned by a single non-ABDL mother who uses the money to support her disabled son, and basically suggested they should get some leeway over the naming ordeal because they're just out of touch with the community and made a faux pas. Hmm... it seems like they should have learned from the first time they tried to trademark a fetish term, but... alright... Last night I bit my tongue and placed an order from their website. I'm not a huge fan of their diapers (I have had mediocre experiences with them - but that's another topic), but the new limited-edition glow-in-the-dark print was too enticing to pass up. I placed my order well after business hours, so I knew the order wouldn't go out until the next business day. After the order was completed I returned to the homepage - and it was then that I saw "FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS $100+". Well, shit. My order came to $91 after shipping. Couldn't they have put that more prominently on the website, or like, I don't know, put the promotional advert above my shopping cart, like other websites do? Good thing it was after business hours, right? I shot them an email right away to let them know I wanted to modify or cancel the order. That way when they opened the next day they'd be able to intercept it before anything went out. Just like every other website I've ever shopped on and had to cancel an order from. This morning I received an email saying "your order shipped earlier today, so unfortunately I cannot make any changes to your order." What? I placed the order last night after closing time and emailed them immediately. Surely, you'd think an ABDL vendor - of all types of companies - would check to see if anyone had problems with an order before shipping it. So I called them a couple hours ago and was informed by customer service that while there is no way to modify the order, it could be cancelled with a 5% cancellation fee. Okay, fine. I wanted this deal, and I wanted my black onesie. Then he lets me know "oh, there's actually nothing I can do, it already shipped". I asked if I could order the extra products I wanted and then we could work out the difference with shipping. All they really had to do was send me a PayPal request for $9, and ship out a small parcel. Just customer service, IMO. "No, it'd have to be a separate order. There's nothing I can do." How about accepting your mistake and taking care of your customer? I emailed them back after that, asking if they are saying there is no way to cancel an order once it's been placed - since I sent my order after business hours and immediately followed up with an email. I mean, I get that I made a mistake when ordering, but any other site I've shopped through would've intercepted the package before it went out, and if they didn't, they'd have offered me something, it's just customer service. I'll follow up here when I receive a reply to my email. If I don't hear back, I'm going to call again tomorrow. By the way, if you see a banner on some of the product pages saying "For the love of littles... First one added to cart is free!", don't fall for it. There's no discount or free diapers, it's just false advertising.

Hey guys, After what feels like a few years without wearing, and a long period of stress, I recently took the plunge and ordered some "Quality" diapers off of XPMedical, and I've got some feedback I figured was worth sharing for those looking to order some premium diapers, but aren't sure yet. I've tried a number of store brand products over the years, but nothing I've ever been impressed with. That changed once I got this delivery. I went with a sample-pack of Abena Abri-Form L4 (L being the size, and 4 meaning the "X-Plus" absorbency level) briefs, specifically the Air-Plus/Premium ones, and ordered online via PayPal with Fedex Ground Shipping. It arrived faster than expected, but I did get a tracking number, and it was a completely generic cardboard box with no identifying details anywhere, left on my doorstep, no signature required. I've got pics of the box I can transfer from my phone to post if anyone's interested in the packaging. I know the plastic-backed ones are considered better (and I'll get to that shortly), but I still chose the Air-Plus briefs due to the quieter backing, only ordering a sample so I could bail on them if they weren't good enough. The diaper itself is amazing. It's so thick, super soft, fits well, and it's astonishingly absorbent. I've got a very large bladder, and drink quite a bit during the day, but I still feel very confident that these could handle an 8-hour work shift or more with no leaks whatsoever. The wetness indicator is an awesome geometrical stripe pattern that looks really cool (yes, I'm a nerd...), and there are 2 tapes per side, which I much prefer to 1 or 3 tapes. Even after a soaking, you just need to give it a minute to acquiesce, and you're cool to sit down with no fear of leaks. It does make you waddle a bit, but I don't think it's noticeable, even when wet. I am pretty tall however, so my wider-than-average stance might obscure it more. YMMV This is where my criticisms start... Since these are the textile backed ones, they are very soft to the touch with a smooth fabric feel. The backing is very quiet and doesn't crinkle at all. It does have a bit of sound as it slides against clothing, but it's completely unnoticeable unless you're indoors with no ambient noise. Just the wind while walking outside masks it completely. Unfortunately though, the textile backing is very easily stretched, meaning you have to tape tighter than you intend to, and then it still loosens constantly over time, forcing you to use the "re-do" tapes to tighten it up after a short while. The backing stretches again when wet, causing extra sag, exacerbating the stretching problem around the tapes. I've also read that the tapes don't stick to the fabric backing as well as they do on the plastic backed ones, but since I haven't tried the plastic-backed ones yet, I can only say that the tapes don't stick as well to the fabric as I think they should. As far as sizing goes, I got the Larges despite being at the bottom of the waist-size range for the Large, and I'm glad I did. If you're around/between the top of one size range and the bottom of another, I'd say go with the larger size. You can always tape it further around if it's too big for you, but if it's too small, you're stuck digging your own tape out of your desk, or heading down to the office shop to buy some more tape lol. I'll certainly be ordering more, but despite my concerns about the crinkling, I'll be getting the plastic-backed "Original" L4s instead. The "Premium" fabric ones weren't bad, and they're leagues and leagues above anything I've worn before, but I'm convinced the plastic-backed ones are the best for me, and so I'll be going with those from now on. Do note that Abena makes the various levels of "Premium" fabric ones in XS, S, M, L, and XL, but only makes the "Original" plastic-backed ones in level 4 sizes M, and L as of this post. Tl;dr I completely recommend both XPMed, and the Abena L4 series. Just make sure you consider the pros and cons between the "Premium" fabric ones, and the "Original" plastic-backed ones...
