  1. Version 1.0.0

    707 downloads

A WIP for a guitar hero like rythm game based off some suggestions in another thread. There is a readme included that I would suggest reading because some of the button inputs are not super intuitive. This is pretty early in development so any sort of feedback is helpful. All of the art is placeholder stuff as I am currently looking for an artist. I'll try to update this thread with the newest version whenever I get around to adding new stuff. If you're an artist who thinks their art would be a good fit for this game, DM me and maybe we can work something out.

  2. So I made enough small improvements that I feel it warrants a new version. I think it may be a good idea to move this over into the downloads section. I'll upload another version here for now, but this will probably be the last version that is in this thread. Some sort of piss game.zip
  3. Okay so it's reached a point where it can at least provide a few minutes of entertainment so I'll post it here. Please rip it apart in the replies, that's the only way it will get better. Please read the Readme so you can actually figure out how to play the game. rythmGame.zip *I've already noticed a small mistake. Use the arrow keys not WASD to hit the notes.
  4. So i took this idea and whipped up a quick demo. Obviously the art is all placeholder and its bad even for that but I think it gets the general concept across pretty well. So as of right now the concept is fairly simple, click the arrow key associated with the note when it is touching the red bar, it slowly gets harder as time goes on. The yellow bar in the bottom right will fill up when the player misses notes but slowly drains over time to let the player recover a bit. There a multiple stages of wetness that the player can be in based on how full the bar is, once a player enters a stage they can't "un-wet" themselves. Once I get it into a more respectable state I'll post the file here so people can try it out, without art though I think it will be a bit lacking. If people know any artists that would be willing to do some quick art let me know.
  5. The current demo I'm working on should be able to support any gender of player character, as long as there is art for the standing pictures. The game "Average life" that was posted to this forum a few years back is kinda the feel I'm going for but in a more modern engine and smoother gameplay. I'd imagine the audience for female main characters is larger but if you already have an engine built adding another gender should be simple enough. So what is the preferred type of gameplay? Would a simple match 3 game with increasing desperation do the trick or is a more complex system featuring fleshed out characters and story required? Obviously the latter would require a much larger amount of work but would the payoff be worth it?
  6. I agree that art is probably the most important aspect of these types of games, maybe I can make something that can easily showcase the art without requiring much story, like a puzzle game. I really like this idea, it probably wouldn't be too hard to whip up a quick prototype as well. I'm still dead in the water when it comes to art but if I can get a cool demo maybe I can attract a bit of a following.
  7. That's kinda what I would expect, I'm in the same boat. This is a cool idea, I've seen a few roguelike hentai games but never one solely focused on omo I guess another question I have now is what "time period" are people most interested in? Would a modern setting be better or a more fantasy old time-y setting?
  8. For any game I design my hope would be for it to be free but I'd definitely need to hire an artist so I'm not sure the best way to go about doing that without eating a huge upfront cost. I guess that's what Patreon and the like are for but I'm not really sure I'd be comfortable with that. I've never really thought about an omo mmorpg before but it's definitely something far beyond my meager capabilities.
  9. So I'm an aspiring game maker with passing knowledge of the GameMaker Studio 2 engine. If you could have any 2D omorashi game imaginable what features would you be looking for? What are the things that matter the most to you? Art, storyline, or gameplay? Would you ever pay for an omorashi game? If so would you rather support through monthly payments in a system like Patreon or an upfront payment at the end? What type of characters are you looking for? MILF, Furry, Fantasy (elves, orcs, and the like)? If scat were in the game as well would that deter you? My personal ideal game is a cross of CROTCH's RPGs and "Average Life" Rpg here on the forum. A heavy focus on the day to day life with some spicy scenarios that force the player into desperate situations to create a natural "story". The standing picture would be a heavy focus and multiple outfits would be available.
  10. Don't worry about it, I've used translator++ before and I know how much of a nightmare it can be. If I find any other errors I'll let you know.
  11. Looks great, audio can definitely be tricky. Do you by chance do commissions?
  12. Nice idea, always good to see more people designing games. If you manage to find an artist let me know because I"m looking for someone to make some art for a personal project as well.
  13. I think I found another script error. I'm using the patched version
  14. Hi there, I'm new to the community as well. You mentioned you were a new artist. I'm potentially interested in getting some commissions at some point in the future so if you have some art you'd like to share I'd be interested in checking it out
  15. Hello all, I've been lurking for a few years now and have finally decided that I want to get a little more serious about game design. I'm not particularly into the kink myself but I do think that it is a good base for a game. In order to gather community interest and possibly some assistance I probably need to get a bit more involved with the community. My inspirations in the community are the team that worked on Average Life and LivingInfinite. I'm absolutely useless at art so if I ever plan to make anything of value I'll be using commissions from other community members so If you're an artist please let me know.
