  1. Unsure if you've seen my post earlier in the thread, but voting harder by itself will solve nothing if there is no grassroots support for protecting bodily autonomy for women, plus whatever else the SCOTUS decides to fuck with next. Talking to a representative is fine and dandy, but if people aren't actively helping the women affected by this, they're blind to how little voting alone will ever do.
  2. @LifeIsStrange Definitely not my kind of anarchist. Every anarchist I know is a devoted feminist, anti-racist, pro-LGBTQ+ and generally friendly person who just happens to loathe authority and think that simply working together without being coerced is the ideal basic groundwork for society. We're not quite 'non-violent', since we view it as a tool that has a place in relevant contexts, but we generally reserve it for when the other options have been exhausted. To elucidate; we view enforcement of authority by state and corporate entities as violence, as it deprives somebody of something and they are not fully compensated. Undoing the Roe v Wade ruling is violent by definition, but so is even having society threaten you with violence/imprisonment/fines for noncompliance with those hierarchically defined mechanisms of state (Prisons, police, etc.) It's not "anarchy is no rules", it's instead "Anarchy means we make rules together and apply them equally to everybody, while allowing for flexibility based on context and interpretation that do not fit a narrow legal definition." Within current society, you can visibly see the rich treated better than the poor, the white treated better than the black, and so on. There is statistical validation for the idea that laws disproportionately affect those worst off socio-economically speaking. "Burning down" the status quo is less literal with me and my comrades, and is more, "Take what exists, destroy what hurts people, replace the rest and build new things that are needed." In short, we're peace-loving hippies who preach compassion, free love, an end to oppression, and want every single human being on earth to be fed, watered, clothed, housed, healthy and happy. Even our political opponents, even the most foul people deserve to be treated at a human baseline of dignity and respect. That said, we don't roll over and die when attacked. "An Injury to One is an Injury to All!" is an old slogan of ours. So we fight. In the face of the SCOTUS decision(s, there are more forthcoming >.<) we circumvent unjust laws and help people at great risk to our own wellbeing because it's the right thing to do. If that means smuggling pills in to let women retain the bodily autonomy regardless of legality, we'd do it. If it meant having to fight nazis in the street with sticks, bike locks, shields and boots, we'd do it. If it means going undercover in hate groups to rip all of their informational secrets away and sending it to the FBI, we'd do it. (Not happily, we hate the Feds because the FBI has been involved in framing and murdering us before, but white supremacists are klan/nazi fuckers so we can stomach it.) If voting can affect change in a context, we generally do it. It's when there is no effect that we won't do it. That's where work strikes, traffic disruption, sit ins, noise bombardment, humiliation and shaming come in. (The last two primarily done via taking something contradictory or inflammatory an idiot has said and projecting it onto the side of a large building with a side comparison to what they 'claim' they stand for.) And more, of course. Diversity of tactics gets the goods, and direct action gets the goods. That said, considering a vote for a third party a betrayal is... Dangerous shit. In almost every modern liberal democracy, there are at least three major blocs that have some overlap and work together. Coalition governments, with minority governments having to deal with allied opposition who can block their proposals, and so on. The US does not have that. It has "Us, and THEM." This blind loyalty and "swallow your bile and vote for the least awful of two shitty options" has essentially ruined any chance at institutional shifts in ruling power unless people vote third part en masse. Essentially, you're collectively ruining your ability to get a better deal because a non-standard option is seen as betrayal.
  3. Again, there are ideological reasons these 'nutjobs' have for not interacting with the system that I'd rather not go into detail here, as it would be considerably off-topic and incredibly long-winded. Still, if the left and right are a spectrum between two poles, AOC is at most what I'd call 'three points left of center', within the US political sphere, of out ten points to left and right of pure center (0). Democratic socialists would sit at a 'six', Marxists at 'eight' and anarchists at 'ten' left of center. This is based on a more international understanding of politics rather than a narrow US view. Anarchists were providing women with birth control when even considering handing out contraceptives was illegal, back in the 1910s-20s and are in part responsible for: the weekend existing as a break from work, bathrooms existing in factories and workplaces, health and safety regulations and the abolition of child labour. So again, relatively speaking, this is where things sit whether or not one approves of the methods modern leftists pursue. I'm not saying she's bad or useless, far from it - She's the single most progressive politician with any mainstream prominence and that gives her some leverage! I'm just saying that she's playing softball compared to the actual Left historically and presently. RE: efficacy of voting, US representatives have zero requirement to actually represent the position of their constituents political desires, and so primarily act as an extension of the party line even if the people who elected them want them to do the polar opposite, and they are hardly able to be recalled or punished for this abuse of power. As a result, the gerrymandering in local elections is pushed to ensure a definitive win in a district, which is in part designed to remove the ability for minorities and opposition to dissent at all. Aside from local elections, everything else is essentially a rich people exclusive popularity contest where the popular vote is frankly a fucking joke and serves only to gauge how well liked somebody is. Local voting: Good and useful. Anything higher however requires you be a representative and good luck with that if you're not rich already. There are exceptions but they are RARE - AOC, Sanders, Ilhan Omar, etc. The electoral college exists to ensure the masses don't choose the 'wrong candidate', because the founding fathers were primarily rich white men who'd rather not be led by Joe Schmoe the subsistence farmer, or HEAVENS FORBID, a slavery abolitionist! So when I talk about not voting, I mean federally speaking. If it's not in your backyard you have zero influence over anything your representative does. So these groups often do vote locally for progressive reps. They just know the rest of the hierarchy is rigged and don't participate in the theatrical bullshit surrounding it.
  4. @LifeIsStrange It is not that voting will not help, but that voting without other action in support of it is entirely useless. Depending on your definition of 'Leftist', many wouldn't be voting in most cases anyway. Marxists, Marxist-Leninists, and many Anarcho-Socialists refuse to engage with the mechanism for ideological reasons, and would be far more likely to resort to direct action in whatever form. If by 'leftist' you mean Sanders, AOC, and the gang? They're literally just semi-progressive right wingers compared to the previous groups I mentioned. 'Liberal', in the sense of "Not a monarchist, fascist, or socialist." (So, in the same category as the less violently insane GOP members out there in comparison to the anti-capitalist left.) At this point, I've seen some democratic-socialist types musing about the Bullet Box rather than the Ballot Box, though that is generally reserved for community self defense via having people with some relative degree of societal privilege (White men, primarily) present a physical barrier. Just yesterday there was word of a group of parents blocking Proud Boys thugs from interrupting a drag queen book reading. Rolling up armed to stand alongside unarmed protestors, protecting people outside of Planned Parenthood, that kind of stuff. Of course, I can't speak for some of the most extreme people out there, and there are likely some who have taken these events as a sign of "Welp, fuck, guess it's revolution time!" Not that any of that would actually help all that much at this particular juncture. It'd make shit worse in a huge hurry.
  5. As an outsider on two fronts - I'm an anarchist and against the very idea of a hierarchical authority in any capacity, but especially nation states, and DOUBLY so for capitalist ones. - and somebody from outside the USA, the entire situation the country finds itself in is frankly disgusting, but not unexpected. Over the last many, many years - The latter half of the 20th Century and all of the current one, there has essentially been an uptick in rights and freedoms... Followed by an immense downturn that continues to this day. The causes of which are far too long to get into in exhaust detail here, but suffice to say that a mix of rich individuals, military leadership, monopolistic corporations and others fed resources into a massive movement turning US Christianity on its head entirely. We're talking billions of dollars into convincing people who believe in the words and acts of Christ to believe essentially the polar opposite. This is the modern 'Right Wing' in America, built under a mix of rabidly anti-liberal and anti-socialist propaganda, outright bullshit with no theological founding, and more money than any of us will ever see in our lives specifically sent to encourage the hate we see today. They then picked up a batshit insane group of Klan types preaching about 'Dominionism'. The resultant cocktail is essentially America-branded Christofascism, rather than well-meaning conservatism which has generally been known outside of North America to be about cautious progress rather than "You're not white? GET FUKT LOL" A reasonably in-depth examination of exactly what arguments are used by the rising tide of frothing maniacs can be found here: More worryingly yet, as has been mentioned before in this thread, is that these rollbacks on rights and freedoms have the potential to be expansive. There is discussion amongst the reactionary ('conservative' is a lie, their ideology has more in common with Franco's Spain than, say, Teddy Roosevelt's USA) base behind the new SCOTUS judges about attacking the following: Interracial Marriage Same-sex Marriage Protection From Discrimination (Sex/Gender/Ethnicity/Etc) AND MORE. Frankly, voting will do little to help fix this. House Democrats were singing 'God Bless America' while snipers watched protestors from the Supreme Court's roof. Active disruptive protest combined with lending unconditional aid to the people affected by this travesty are about the only sound legal solutions left, and I'm not about to advocate for illegal solutions on an open forum no matter my own opinions on the matter. I say disruptive (but not illegal) as there are already reports of people being run down by cars and trucks in protests across the USA because the ghouls leading their brainwashed Yeehawd and general Y'all Qaeda fuckery told them it was good to do it. Combining that with regimented peaceful protests with permits being violently beaten or worse over the last few years, the knowledge that peaceful protest in the Civil Rights Movement only worked because MLK and associates had friends who were marching with rifles slung on their backs... If your activism isn't inconveniencing whomever you're against, it is a joke. For people in states with still-legal abortion, this means clinic escort volunteers. For people in states where it is now illegal, this means willing to smuggle people out of state. For pregnant people within those red states, this means burning all evidence of any period tracking app or documentation you may have as it may be used against you in court as evidence even if you haven't aborted a fetus at all. Other more general methods of aid include providing for people who cannot flee or obtain means to safely abort in secret. Often enough they cannot afford a new child and if they give birth they will be severely impoverished... ...and organizing teaching things like self defence classes, first aid, basics for how to deal with childbirth when reaching a hospital isn't an option, and gun clubs where at-risk women can learn armed self defense. Apologies if this post is all over the place, but this whole affair has my head spinning. A clarification if you're unsure about my stance on guns, my take is: You're absolutely nuts if you think giving up the ability to defend yourself with parity against people who fetishize AR-15s is gonna help anybody. Gun restrictions in the modern US are even based on laws made to de-fang armed groups who were standing against white supremacist police (the Black Panthers would watch any arrests happening. Visibly armed, with the expectation that the cops wouldn't beat somebody to death or shoot them if it meant they might catch a bullet for it.) and so are even more worthless besides. Of course, anybody who wants to get a gun is gonna get one anyway, legal or not. If you think it's hard, there have been cases of various groups in countries with far less numerous firearms getting their hands on military fucking missile launchers. Legality is not going to stop people who are very happy to murder you no matter how they need to go about it. ^ Tl;dr for gun talk? They aren't giving theirs up, don't give yours up. Simple as. I'd also like to say that these monsters are in no way Christian in any measurable sense. Words attributed to Christ in the New Testament are clear, compassionate, and against hate and brutality of all kinds. While they might claim Obama or Biden is the antichrist, the extremists banning abortion are in truth far closer to fulfilling that concept themselves. If this court ruling affects you or people you love directly, I'm so, so sorry you have to deal with this shit, and I pray that Canada and a few other nations at least open their borders to women fleeing persecution over their own bodily autonomy.
  6. Normally, I can't stand school settings, high school, college or university - just not something I'm a fan of, and the same thing with the whole student party culture thing. This story... Is different. I was put off by the party stuff at first but I'm very invested in how the two girls' relationship continues to develop, and all of the pee and poop related content is well written enough that it alone would be enough to keep me invested without the potential for romance in the story. You've somehow managed to make something that I almost detest on principle into something I can't look away from, so... thanks, @Noot!

This is something from Blazy I've never seen before, and I'm subbed to her patreon! This is really cute.
  8. I find myself with an abundance of free time and too light a wallet for my comfort, so I have decided to re-open commissions! I'm fairly flexible with whatever kinks you want me to write, with a few things I won't touch - ryona (I do not enjoy it at all.), guro (Makes me queasy.), or heterosexual sex (Just... meh.). Hypnotism is okay. Diapers are okay. Ageplay is okay. Pet play is okay. If it's not one of these, just ask and I'll tell you. I'm not exceptionally familiar with too many settings. If you want something heavily accurate I may not be able to provide you with a decent fanfic. I specialize primarily in original fiction or exploring settings through original characters. Worlds I know my shit (mostly) about are, in no particular order: Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, Shadowrun up until 4th Edition (2070), Warcraft up until WoW: Legion, Dark Souls, Sword Art Online, the Fate series, parts of Gundam's UC timeline, the gundam CE timeline, Gundam Iron-blooded Orphans. Anything else might be spotty. My specialties in original fiction content are historical fiction, fantasy adventure and medium-hard sci-fi, though I dabble in cyberpunk as well. Most of my published work on the forums here is unfinished, but I do have some there to give a look at some of my writing style. I have recently become a lot better about active versus passive voice, so much of my old material is before that. My rates are as follows (All values are in US Dollars) 1¢ per word for normal content, so a 1,000 word one-shot would be 10$. For longer stories, I may provide discounts if we have consistent business with each other. 2¢ per word if I am writing content matter I am not as comfortable with but still willing to write (non-con, for example.) I'm living in Canada, so I cannot and will not write lolicon, as it is extremely illegal to do so. If you wish me to, I will also publish the story on the forums afterward. If you choose to post it elsewhere, credit me in the summary or author notes section, please. 'Business' is Booming.odt Attached to this post is an example of one of my most recent stories, this one was written for fun, rather than for commission. CONTAINS MESSING. Feel free to reply here or in my private messages!
  9. Yuri Poly Gang represent! There are dozens of us! DOZENS! I personally don't think that Asuna would be involved in any triad relationship with Argo and Kiriko, she's far more framed as seeing Kiriko in a more sisterly light, imo.
  10. I pretty consistently get turned on while doing kinky writing as well as reviewing any relevant scenes during editing and after posting my work. If I'm not focused I can end up getting more caught up in being aroused than actually writing more, though, so I try to mitigate that particular issue. I do have a vivid imagination, so when I'm reading or writing I very much visualize the events in great detail. Probably has something to do with my getting too horny to finish a chapter or the like.
  11. Personally, I believe the best kink-related stories can intertwine both plot and fetish content without making either seem out of place. So far, this story has kept that balance pretty well.
  12. For a game based on melee combat, the official material doesn't much cover anything outside of swords. It's in the name, but I can only imagine how many players chose daggers, punch-daggers/katars, axes, polearms, warhammers, maces, and so-on. If I had one nitpick, it would be that not all spears are particularly long, and a good number are short enough to be used with a kite or heater shield in very close quarters - About as long as an arming sword or long sword, generally - though honestly I'm mostly being pedantic. I'd have personally just explained the long-spears, halberds, etc, as 'polearms'. Doesn't ruin the chapter by any means, just a bit of my inner mil-history nerd shaking her fist. I've also noticed that this story does address the disparity in player gender and makes it relevant to the way Kiriko and Asuna (and peripherally, Argo and later others, I imagine) interact with the rest of the progression group and other players in general. It's a nice detail, and I'm glad it is pointed out.
  13. Argo's depiction is usually a highlight in any decent SAO-based fic I've read. Generally, if they do her justice or make her seem badass (or more badass than usual, rather!) in her endeavours, it's a barometer for how competent a character writer they are, in contrast to lazy, "she's a troll/prankster/paparazzi, lololol" approaches from the less, uh, talented authors.
  14. Argo being padded up was not something I expected, but it is something I appreciate. I have a couple suggestions for what would degrade her stats to that degree, despite her relatively solid skills at the game and beta experience. Suggestion the First: Given her tendency to gather information through contacts and direct observation, gearing up with diapers would make for a reasonable decision in order to minimize downtime and allow for her to continue moving for longer periods without rest, increasing her overall efficiency. After a few weeks of this, and increasingly casual diaper use when the urge strikes, her stats begin to degrade, as if the game mirrors IRL continence training, going as soon as you feel the urge weakens your ability to hold, and to feel it coming on. Holding it does the opposite, naturally. Suggestion the Second: It could be something based outside of the game, and something of a comfort/familiarity thing, the reasoning for her use of diapers could easily be a continuation of a habit IRL, and that reason could be picked as appropriate.
  15. Actually getting back into writing.

    Finally.

    About fucking time, actually.

On the docket: a Sword Art Online: GGO: Fatal Bullet fic inspired by @WriterForce6XV's work, plus a one-shot fic about Kerillian from Vermintide 1 and 2. Why? Because the smug elf bitch deserves ruined panties. 😛
