  1. Update 2: So I decided to put on a brave face and actually went outside. Made a stop at the store, then walked to the riverside (it's usually very quiet there at night). My heart was in my throat, but at the same time it was one of the best things I've ever tried. I did discover however that what is not even my full capacity yet is too much for the diaper type I tried yesterday. I think I wasn't even halfway empty by the time it was already becoming harder to walk normally because the padding had swelled up, so I ended up finishing the wetting in a public toilet (which is also where I left the diaper behind in a bin).

I feel very awkward talking about this - I guess I still have some remnants of shame for actually being so into this. At the same time though I want to talk about it to other people who enjoy this so I'll feel a bit less weird about it. Thanks for all the advice until now <3

As far as wearing in public goes, Don't worry about it. If you act calm and don't draw attention to yourself, then odds are they won't pay enough attention to you to notice anything. Think about it, how much attention do you pay to a stranger's wardrobe? Basically just wear loose pants and a long shirt and don't act like you're on meth, and you'll be fine.

As for wetting, find somewhere you can stand still for a moment and not look odd. Be out of the way, and look like you're doing something, reading a sign, looking at your phone, just don't stand in the middle of the street staring at nothing. This also has the advantage of you not looking at them, which should make it easier for you to wet.

If you decide to change in public, just remember, single occupant restrooms are your friends. Don't use porta-pottys though, when they clean them out the diaper will clog the hose, and you will have ruined the day of someone who really doesn't have a lot going for them.

I noticed that xD My pokerface was definitely very strong yesterday. I walked into the store to buy some food on my way to the riverbank and no one noticed a thing xD It's more that I look somewhat unusual (as I said before) and therefore get stared at sometimes anyway. I prefer to be 100% sure that no one is going to notice.

Also I am wayyy too shy to try this out by daylight (for now), so I just go out at night to quiet places. Luckily this is a very safe neighbourhood where you can actually do that :) And I would never toss a diaper down a toilet, not even a portable one, don't worry. I am not that stupid.

Great that it feels amazing, It's always nice finding out you enjoy them ^^
Also, good luck! I'm jealous, I-I'm too shy for that >> (I probably shouldn't have said that, I have three people that are likely to read this and say I have to <<)

Yes, it's awesome <3 I am somewhat scared by how much I like it though, holy shit, is it like that for everyone?
    Also DO IT ~ It's awesome~

I have been wearing diapers my entire life. I have never had anyone notice that I have diapers on under my cloths. No one will notice. Its just not something that regular people notice unless they have a fetish for diapers. Even then I bet they wouldn't notice.

That's nice to know ^^ I'm in the position that if I'm just out in public people might look at me (I look somewhat unusual even without trying), so I'd have to be really discreet if I went out to take a train or a bus, say xD My neighbourhood, now... there's a big park where no one is around at night right around the corner, so when I gather up the courage to try going outside I'll go there I think.

Aww, no dum-dum pops? Wait, do they even sell dum-dums in Japan...?

I was over the moon when I got my first sample and it came with, no joke, my two favorite dum-dum flavours, and a couple of stickers :D

In a later order, I got a sticker of a telescope on a starry night, with a small enough ABU logo on the telescope that I stuck it on my computer chassis side-panel. I'd probably never stick one on anything I take around with me, though...

I have never even heard of those, to be honest. I think if it's a USA thing it might be something they have at the international store.

The stickers I got just say ABU in a space-esque design. They are kind of nice, but again, I wouldn't want someone to see one and look up what it's all about xD

  5. Wetchoirpants: thanks for backing up the statements about slow wetting and leak guards, it is good to hear that multiple people have the same experience <3

Justice: Thanks for sharing your experience and for warning me about the effect of wetting on the size of the diaper, I hadn’t considered that it’d make so much of a difference. Also thank you for explaining about the leak guards. I was definitely planning to try a full-out wetting (including holding), so that might have become a disaster O.o And I live in a very quiet neighbourhood, so going outside on my second attempt without running into anyone is not a stretch after dark, hence my question :) But I shall be very careful. Thank you <3

Hpattern: ABU Japan included four stickers for me xD Kind of nice, though I’d be scared shitless of actually putting them on anything in case someone sees them and looks it up. They were very fast, I only ordered it just after midnight on the 24th O.o.

I’ll take extra care to check the leak guards. Also heh, who knows, they might become mine as well. I’ll go make myself some tea and I guess we’ll find out later ;)

  6. Oh wow, thank you for your quick and helpful replies :)

DaGhost520, flannel is a good idea, thanks! I've also got a long sweater I could use (halfway down the thigh), and as it's winter here no one will think twice about me wearing something like that even outside the house. My jeans are all relatively loose, but they stretch around the ass, so I'd definitely need to disguise that area with something (or wear a skirt, I suppose, but that seems like a different challenge altogether, combining tights and a skirt with a diaper). Thanks for your tips and for reassuring me about sound and smell, those were things I was quite worried about xD

HPattern, thank you xD I hope I'll like the padded side and that it will like me back :) Alas I do sort of stick out where I live by default, so I do have to be at least careful enough not to make it too obvious. Thanks for the warning about tab placement - I only ordered a trial package this time (ABU) because I'm not entirely sure about size, but I'll pay attention to it ^^ I do hope they can take a lot, because I can hold quite a lot before giving in. I was planning to do the first test run outside in the dark just in case (it gets dark at five here so no problems in that area).

As you said, it seems like a lot of fun. I love soaking towels and other things when I can (e.g. mattresses, the seat of an old car that was going to be crushed), so I think I'll really enjoy diapers, but I've always been held back by embarrassment. Thanks for your advice <3 Should I write about how it went after I receive them?

  7. Hello everyone,

So I just ordered my first diapers, they should arrive in a few days. I'm both nervous and excited ^^

I'm still not entirely sure if wearing them will be a kink/turn on for me, but I do know I really enjoy soaking things and also the thrill of wetting in public without anyone else knowing about it, so trying diapers seemed a logical next step from there. But as I was thinking about how best to go about wearing and using them in public I realised there might be many things to look out for. Is it possible to sit down without giving myself away? Are people going to hear or smell something if they are close to me? What kind of clothes work best for covering them up?

I have some ideas of course, but I thought I'd ask for advice as well, seeing as I have literally 0 experience in this field and I'm a bit anxious about all this.

    Thanks in advance!
