I decided to try something different this week. I’ve been having a really awful time with leaking lately because I’ve been really stressed. After wetting the bed on Monday, I decided I needed to take some extra precautions at work especially because our staff toilet has been out of order. None of us know exactly what happened, but the toilet was running at least 48 hours straight with constant flushing that sounded like an absolutely intense never ending whirlpool.
When I say being in the back room near the bathroom was a special brand of hell, it was a very specialized circle of hell that drove me nuts. I don’t think I ever had to pee more than listening to the toilet flushing on repeat for hours until someone finally detached the right things.
Anyway, I decided to venture out to work padded out of fear that the lack of toilet would do me in. I didn’t worry about it on Monday, as I felt I had already done the worst of it, but on Tuesday I was taking no chances. After discussing it with Avery, a plan was formed with multiple contingencies on what to do if I hated it or got too uncomfortable, and everything was in place. Avery was concerned that I would become too uncomfortable because the last few times I’ve tried wearing any sort of diaper at home I either had a rash or got too grumpy. The last thing I needed to happen was to suffer through either situation while doing this out in public, especially for the first time.
To my surprise, I managed way longer than I thought I would and even wore the diaper a little longer than my work shift. It started to become a little uncomfy by the end of the day, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. I definitely leaked several times, but Avery made sure to remind me to get to a toilet to avoid using it more than I needed until the end of my shift. The entire situation was extremely embarrassing though as I planned to only have to go to work and get through my workday, but I had to run several errands beforehand. I swear everyone knew what I was wearing!
When it came time to take it off, I decided I would try and use the diaper more just to feel like I did something. I spent an entire car ride trying to get myself to pee before I made it somewhere I could change, but apparently made myself nervous over the idea of peeing in the car and couldn’t do it.
I’ll probably try going padded out again sometime, just don’t know when. Or I’ll go overnight – I’ll have to see what Avery thinks.

So… as it was a Betterdry day I decided to make it more scientific for you @Jdhdbdbdbb
 
The method:
- new diaper at 9:10am (Betterdry 10, size M)
- drink 1 x 600ml (20oz) of black tea between 9:10 and 10:30
- drink 3 x 620ml (21oz) water between 9:10 and 11:30
(I know the dangers of drinking too much, so try to set some limits)
- I decided to wet when I would go to a toilet if not diapered, thus no super desperate holding/flooding
- I was sitting on my couch working through emails throughout
 
The test:
- First wetting was at 10:33am (47 second powerful stream)
- Second wetting was at 10:51 (54 second steady stream)
- Third wetting 11:21am (42 second steady stream)
- Fourth wetting 11:45am (33 seconds steady stream)
- Fifth wetting 12:26pm (1:04 steady stream)

Result:
—> LEAK!! @ 12:27pm
Placed used diaper on bathroom scales, and measured weight of 2.3kg (5lbs). The product is officially rated at over 4000ml. That would be about 4kg (8.8lbs). There is no way it would hold that much more, so indeed these theoretical ratings are not to be trusted. I have added some photos below (hopefully they don’t offend anybody).

Earlier today, I was waiting for my boyfriend to get home from work so we could do laundry. Not only did he need to gather his clothes, but also I don't like going to our unfinished basement alone, which is where the washer and dryer is.
Originally for the day, I wasn't planning on doing anything, as I just tend to avoid it during the work week, but lately I've just been in the mood to wet myself, all the time.
So I got home about an hour and a half before he did. I decided to start holding it and try to drink as much as I could. Well an hour later and at least 50oz of water, I was bursting to pee.
I was on the phone with him as he drove home and I struggled to not let on that I had to pee at all. Praying he got home quickly, I was struggling to hold it, but I managed.
He got home and we talked for a few and he gathered his clothes then we FINALLY went down.
Almost as soon as we got to the washing machine, I let go. He had already started loading the clothes in when he turned in surprise, as I stood there pissing in my royal blue Soffe shorts right in the middle of our basement.
I smiled and said "Oops, good thing we are down here to do laundry!"
He laughed and I switched into a pair of clean pajama shorts I had put in the laundry basket for after.
Half an hour later, I already had to pee a little bit again, so when we went down to change the laundry over I asked him if he wanted to see me pull my pajama pants aside and pee on the floor.
He looked at me with the 'Did you really just ask me that?' face, while I was already getting in position squatting down and pulling my shorts aside.
Once he started the dryer, he turned around to watch as I began to relieve myself.
I was pretty naughty as I left a pretty big puddle on the floor, even bigger than the first puddle from peeing the shorts.
I spent the rest of the night in a diaper as I 'couldn't be trusted' to not have an accident.
No complaints from me of course 😏

Hello omo.org-ers! This is my first time sharing my own content that isn’t fanfiction so bear with me. 
I am in my early 20s and have short ginger hair that i cut into a mullet. I’m 5’1 and just on the border between being thin and mid-sized. I’m also nonbinary and use they/them pronouns.
Today i was home alone for a while, so i decided to hold and wet, which i never get the chance to do anymore. So I walked to 7-11 and picked up a starbucks triple shot mocha to jumpstart my bladder and got to sipping. Or, actually chugging. 
After a while i started to feel the vague need to pee, so i pressed on my bladder to check how bad the need was (I often struggle with identifying this). Probably a 6/10. So i changed into my wetting clothes and went into the bathroom. 
My wetting clothes consist of some old boxer-briefs that are too tight for regular use and some lavender colored booty shorts. I also wore a tight long sleeved black shirt that clung to my body. 
I set up my camera and laid down a towel and let go- and it was heavenly. The glorious wet warmth spread across my legs and down to the towel, making a loud dripping sound that would be unmistakable as an accident if anyone had been around to hear.
Now I have some laundry to do!

They were never the greatest capacity diaper, but I always loved the soft plastic backing.. do they still have that? Sometimes the simple feel and comfort of the product is as important to me as outright performance.

Buying Diapers
I think the last year of school stressed me out too much; because, now that I've been off, I have been obsessed with omorashi. Last weekend, I had the house to myself; so, I indulged in a lot of desperation and wetting. I probably wet myself about ten times in 48 hours. An unfortunate consequence of omorashi is a lot of laundry. Due to the extensive holding sessions my bladder was pretty tired by the end of the weekend. Originally, I was just going to get underpads, just in case I had a nighttime accident. (I mean, its never happened before, but my bladder is really tired.) So, Sunday night. I decided to get a pack of underpads. However, when I saw the tape type adult diapers at the store, I changed my mind.
I live in a small town, so I went to the store later at night, not to run into anyone. Just as I scanned the large pack of adult diapers at the self checkout an employee walked up to me.
“do you need any help with anything?” he asked me.
I felt my entire face flush as my anxiety was already heightened from what I was buying. Oh God, Is he going to think these are for me? My thoughts began to swirl around my head. What do I say?
“uh... no”
I felt so ashamed and embarrassed. What if he recognizes me next time I shop there? I tried to act as normal as I could, but I practically ran out of the store with everything I had bought. I was completely blushing from my head to my feet by the time I got to my car.
 
Luckily, I live with someone who is elderly; so, maybe that'll be a good cover. However, (as far as I know) she doesn't used adult diapers so Idk. It's been about a week since I went back to the store. Its really the only one around for miles.
A Week of Padded Nights
To make things more fun, I decided to punish myself. (Specifically for wetting the bed.) For the next week, I was going to wear diapers every night.
 
Day 1: So that night, I pulled out the first adult diaper. It was soft and cottony. I had only bought goodnites before this; so it was the first time handling a tape type diaper. They were pretty disappointing. I bought a size too big, because I wasn't sure. They fit pretty awkward, I wouldn't wear one in public, but for bed it was fine. I put on a new pair pajamas. They were black classic style pajamas with pink trim with matching shorts. I got a glass of water and went to bed.
After dozing in and out of sleep for a few hours, my bladder was bursting so I tried wetting while in bed. For some reason, my body doesn't like peeing while laying down; so, I had to sit up in bed to wet.
The diaper held up well and was nice and warm and squishy. I fell asleep and woke up late the next day.
 
Day 2: I slogged through appointments and work, feeling drowsy all day. I decide to double up diapers because I was paranoid it was going to leak and I would have to wash my covers again.
OMG. Two of these at the same time is perfect. I feel so small and babyish having the thick bulk of diaper all around me. I fell right asleep and woke up dry. I had to pee when I got up, so I decided to make use of the diaper. Everything was contained in the first diaper.
 
Day 3: I decided to double up diapers again, but this time I read about putting holes through the inner diaper so that they wont leak. Before bed I drank a glass of dandelion tea, because I wanted something more bitter. The tea made my mouth dry so I had some water. I wasn't sleeping too well; so, I took a melatonin gummy. Dozed in and out of sleep like Sunday night. My bladder kept filling up until it couldn't take the pressure anymore. I peed a lot laying in bed. After my bladder was empty, I dozed right off. Again, they held up really well and didn't leak.
 
Day 4: I woke up extremely late. I probably slept about ten to twelve hours. Very soaked. I changed and got ready for work ( I work at three in the afternoon, if that's any indication of how long I slept.) I wanted to take a little break that night from playing with bladder in diapers. However, by the time I got to bed, I was thirsty so I grabbed a glass of water. Woke up dry, but really had to pee. Soaked myself. Fell back asleep.
 
Day 5: All this time, I didn't realize the solution to my poor sleep was to wear diapers to bed. I slept great again. Too great. Slept another ten to twelve hours. Got ready for work. Work has been sucking progressively more. Because of this, I bought some alcoholic libations on my way home to de-stress in an unhealthy but responsible way. Fell asleep. I woke up dry, but had to pee really bad. Got up to go to the bathroom and soaked my diaper in the doorway of my room. I went back to my bed and slept. Again, I slept about ten hours. After I woke up, I was feeling kinda frisky, so I got my vibrator and had some fun.
 
Day 6: Nothing eventful happened. I slept in diapers and woke up. Its beginning to feel more routine.
 
Day 7: Tonight is the last night I'm punishing myself for wetting the bed. I've been drinking a bit tonight, because a friend of mine was back in town. But they just left and now I'm getting kind of sleepy. I need to drink some water, though, because I'm feeling dehydrated...

Thanks for sharing these. I am particularly interested in women in such pads. Seems harder to find than pull-ups/diapers.

No diaper has ever fit me as well, or as comfortably as the Tena Slip.

I'm right with you. I think it's an implementation thing. In wearing a diaper under something, you aren't just wearing one for the picture, or to get off quickly. You're going about your day in it, and using it for what it's for. Having an accident is just part of your day, and nobody but you will know when it happens.

One more fun campaign, for Tena Silhouette pants: in this one, the women were encouraged to take pictures of their real panty drawer with the tena pants shown alongside all their other lingerie.
Now, it's already incredibly hot to see a woman's panty drawer. It's even better to see some diapers in there casually among the other items, for days when they might need the padding.
Sometimes I think a fellow pervert must work for these marketing companies ; )

I am pretty sure most people would simply assume the reason for wearing was purely medical. Unless perhaps you are dressed in childish attire etc. 🤪

I know that some of you get a kick out of embarrassing situations. It’s quite long and not much happens so skip it if it’s not quite your thing.
I went to a work event a long way from where I live. I work for a large company. I checked into a hotel, showered and got into my sleeping clothes. I was wearing an original Tena Slip Maxi (I still have a few packs - the one with the landing tape and bright purple dots, much better than the active fit version).
I wanted to sort out my clothes for the next day, when I turned on the main room light it didn’t work so I went to reception to ask someone to fix it.
I was wearing pyjama shorts and a T-Shirt. I checked in the mirror before I left and I was perfectly discreet. The reception was on the same floor and near my room so I didn’t think too much about getting caught as I’d only be a couple of minutes.
When I got to the foyer there was a queue for the front desk. Sitting in a foyer chair was a really pretty lady with a tiny kitten!! I couldn’t help but stop and play with him while I chatted with the lady. She said she was staying for work and that her employer let her take the kitten everywhere! I joked that my employer wouldn’t be so understanding. Maybe you can see where this is going…
The shorts didn’t have pockets so I was carrying my room keycard. I joined the queue and she got up to join behind me. When I got to the desk they wanted my room number which I couldn’t remember, but was written on the cardboard wallet the card came in. I opened it to see the room number and dropped the card on the floor. I picked it up.. but it was too late. My T-shirt hitched up a bit at the back and I hastily pulled it back down.
At this point maybe she hadn’t noticed. I certainly didn’t look behind to check!
There were two receptionists so we were dealt with at about the same time. When we’d both finished we found ourselves walking the same way, her room was a couple away from mine. We continued to make small talk until I stopped outside my room. We chatted for a few minutes longer, she was very nice and engaging. I could see she looked distracted, not looking me in the eye all the time. I took the opportunity to tickle the kitten again as I turned the conversation towards going our separate ways.
 
When I looked up at her face again I noticed with horror that she was staring intently at my waist band. My hand went there automatically and smoothed down my T-Shirt, but not before feeling the smooth exposed plastic and the rough edge of a tape. It seems that when I pulled my T-shirt down at the back it got pulled up at the front and stuck on the lower tape - the old Tena ones are not sticky all the way along to make them easier to unstick so sometimes the very end of the tape sticks out and it was on this that my T-shirt was stuck, so the whole lower tape and a bit of the diaper was on display. I mean, the tapes have Tena written on them in tiny writing, and the landing tape has absorbency drops on it - it would have been very noticeable. That whole conversation I think she’d noticed and was trying to figure it out, hence the distraction. I blushed deeply and hurriedly let myself into my room.
Predictably the next day I saw her at the event. I introduced myself and she smiled sweetly and said “We’ve already met! Last night?” (I’m terrible with faces and she looked different in work clothes). She was the event organiser and probably my bosses bosses boss. She talked with me at length about the quality of the hotel and the kitten while I blushed mostly silently. 
So what happened? Nothing. Sorry for the long and boring story.

What did I learn? 
1. Always cover up properly even if you don’t think you need to
2. Always expect to meet a colleague at a hotel
3. People may see what you’re wearing accidentally, but they are unlikely to mention it (thankfully)

Dearest @Lillypad, unless you tell the store employees, they will not know they are for you. 
 
Are there any stores near you with self-checkout options? So you don’t even need to interact with anybody…? If not, and you are still worried - just use my old trick… as you pay, make a point of asking for the receipt: “please can I get the receipt, in case I have picked up the wrong ones for them…”  But really, this shouldn’t be necessary. They really won’t think they are for you, and most importantly - they surely just don’t care what you are purchasing… I’d be more worried buying anti-fungal cream… 🤪
 
If the above is no help.. can you just order online? If you don’t want such items delivering to your home, services such as Amazon lockers could be an option…
