There's precedence for manaketes returning in future Fire Emblem games much older, there's no reason to only make it a one-time thing. Not only would an older appearance (but no personality adjustment, she's mature already, you just have to have eyes to see it) give people the chance to look past their shortsighted prejudices and judge Nowi on the strength of her character, but it's pretty much the only reason I would buy another Fire Emblem game. I would relish the chance to marry her again.

So My Life as a Teenage Robot is on Hulu, and it's still great. The art design is something I never appreciated as a kid, but it's still a lot of fun with great comedic timing and, of course, an adorable protagonist. I have to wonder how much of my generation's robot girl kink traces back to Jenny. It might have even had a subconscious effect on me.

Dirty Pair. If you were getting excited, it has nothing to do with foot fetish stuff. Thankfully, Silver is getting a game soon. It's called Control.

Aqua may be a Keyblade Master, but tonight, she's willing to use your Keyblade to unlock her door.

Maybe it's a good thing that I didn't get my license until 21.

For a while now, I've been wondering what the hell is up with Gogeta's pose in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly credits. He opens his vest to show off his chest, it's just an unusual thing to see. Well, I'm glad I've got my answer.

So Metal Slug XX, the updated port of 7, is on sale on the PS4. Because it was released after Metal Slug Anthology on the Wii, and I haven't had a system to play it on, it's been the only mainline Metal Slug game I hadn't played. Well, on sale, figured I could take the plunge. And because it's a short game, it's already finished. Under 1 hour, and only 57 continues. I think that's pretty good, coming out to a nice average 3.11 deaths per minute. Of course, for my first playthrough, I had to do it with my boy Tarma, but when I go back to it soon enough, I think it'll be time to look at the character that was originally a DLC character for the original release of XX, King of Fighters' Leona Heidern. I hear she's overpowered, I'll see if I can knock those numbers down. With the muscles she's rocking, she better be.

Finished Dragon Ball GT. Well...I think common opinion has a point. It...has good ideas, it...wants to move the story truly forward, it...tries, but it's way too marred by not going all the way exploring its potential and putting way too much focus on Goku. There's only three points I can say are good, without any additional qualifiers. The opening theme, Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku, is fantastic. The ending, where Goku officially leaves the primary cast for any hypothetical continuations, and has a montage of all his adventures, tugged at my heartstrings, seeing just how far he'd come. Even if it focused a lot on original Dragon Ball and very little Z. You all know. I still have a certain soft spot for base Super Saiyan God, but Super Saiyan 4 is such an excellent design. It's visually distinct (looking at Super Saiyan 2), isn't just a palette swap (looking at Super Saiyan Blue), doesn't remove eyebrows (looking at Super Saiyan 3), aside from the eyeliner, it just looks good. And it brings back an element of the Saiyans that, at the time, hadn't even been mentioned since Vegeta, in the Great Ape. Even if the 4 design didn't come back, the concept has made its way into canon now with Broly.

The demo for Kill la Kill IF is now available on PSN. I'm not big on 3D anime arena fighters because it's such a saturated market, when I would think more 2D games would be in the cards after the success of Dragon Ball FighterZ. They don't need to be FighterZ complex, Budokai 3 and JoJo All Star Battle are still great. Don't be fooled by Arc System Works's name appearing on Kill la Kill IF, they just published it. Anyway, while I don't care for the genre, there's nothing to lose by trying a demo, especially when Kill la Kill is one of my favorite anime. And honestly, I'm pretty happy. It's simple, not a lot of options, the graphics feel like they're missing certain detail lines, and parts of the presentation don't work right, but it's snappy and captures the style. It's not worth $60, but I can definitely see myself buying this game in the future. Also, this might sound like an extremely minor thing, but I really do support the decision to dub the game into English. Not just because Kill la Kill's dub is excellent, but because dubbing of anime games has become extremely rare, the only ones you can count on having English voices are Dragon Ball and Naruto. Aside from budget, there's no reason games like Attack on Titan, My Hero: One's Justice, Sword Art Online, or One Piece shouldn't be dubbed, and Kill la Kill went the extra mile. An extra minute is added to my life every time English Ryuko swears. Can also confirm, during the one story mode chapter in the demo, when Ryuko jumps onto the arena, her panties are in view. Makes up for the unforgivable deviation from canon, where Nonon keeps her underwear after Seni Soshitsu.
