  1. Shorts of the kind I prefer are really hard to find over the last years, they are out of fashion for decades and sales were discontinued during the end 70s. Sometimes I can find samples searching garage sales and flea markets. Last year I was lucky finding a 10 pack of chinese ex-army gym shorts in a rummage sale for as little as 10 $
  2. As I like to wear much too small old school gym shorts for underwear with a tight waistband and even tighter leg openings I usually have no choice but disrobing even if I only have to pee. But on the other hand this necessity keeps me motivated to skip or postpone peeing. In case I go commando and wear my usually also rather tight jeans without underwear I can easily use just the pants' fly. Hopefully a button fly and not a 'dangerous' zip.
  3. Many years ago I went on a short vacation around july 4. Leaving home already with a rather full bladder I accidentally met a friend at a roadside coffee shop and we had a big mug each. Despite I was already on the edge of fidgeting I ignored the bathroom signs and headed for my destination well over 100 m to go. The final 20 m were a winding and bumpy backcountry road and I literally was close to bursting. Driving sharp bends or switchbacks with one hand in the crotch sometimes is really challenging. I reached my destination pobably seconds before I would have wet myself and squeezing me heavily I vanished behind a bush.
  4. I suggest skipping your morning pee and delay the 1st pee of the day as long as possible. This will definitely train your ability to stand a full bladder.
  5. Years ago on leaving the crowded parking lot after an open air concert my fellow passenger stated that he had better peed before leaving. I admitted that I felt the same but now it was too late for the two of us. Personally for me it was no big deal to get along with an already demanding bladder but my friend soon started to complain and to moan. But the queue of cars just moved in slow motion and we calculated it would cost us up to an hour before we would reach open country. A lot of people and security guards all around kept my friend from simply peeing by the roadside. Half an hour later he started to touch and hold himself while he complained about his urge. I could not but mention that though my bladder was as well annoyingly full, being an experienced holder I might be able to refrain for some additional hours. I encouraged him that he should rather grab his crotch and sqzeeze his dick than pee his pants. After another grueling half hour we finally could break free and headed for the nearest side road with some bushes alongside.
  6. Usually it is no big deal for me to refrain for a whole working day and I do it 3 to 4 days a week. (only not now due to corona and home office) Every now and then I even skip my morning pee and head for work already rather full. When I can overcome the escalating urge by noon the annoying feelings often change for a feeling of pleasant overfullness. Then I usually can wait until end of shift or sometimes even until dinner but the latter really is a hard job.
  7. As I am a long-time holder for years I was and I am interested in the topic but to my frustration I am far from a 'perfect' solution. You should find quite some posts in the forum concerning the said topic.
  8. I usually go only twice a day, morning and around dinner or at noon and before bed. So not too rarely and even when I am not holding it intentionally I feel a certain pressure some hours a day but I am used to ignore it. My capacity is app. 1100 ml
  9. Many years ago and just once I experienced locking up in a different way. I had been on vacation in the southwest US driving my 4x4 on a backcountry track. I was accompanied by a friend and the two of us wanted to set up our tent on a forest clearing for the night. When we arrived by dusk I was fidgeting because already for hours I had intentionally suppressed my urge as my last pee had been by 6 a.m. So one of the first things on arrival was my visit behind a bush when I realized I had locked up. It had happened the first time ever and I was scared to say the least. When I stayed off our camp for more than some minutes my friend addressed me and asked if I was o.k. I could not but tell him about my mishap (he knew about my holding habit) and a short time later I started a new attempt. It was unsuccessful like before. A painful quarter of an hour later and after a cold can of beer the problem got solved by itself and I could get started as if nothing had happened before.
  10. Forgot your mention concerning jock straps. I tried different cuts and sizes but all of them proved unsatisfactory. I don't like the pouch either, I don't like their elastic fabric, and I think you feel the same. That's the reason why I favor rigid cotton and an absolutely tight fit that leaves hardly any room for my cock and squeezes my balls down into the shorts' legs, forcibly separated by the center seam. Btw underwear like mentioned enables me to stand a full bladder much easier and longer and to postpone voiding 'forever'.
  11. Seems that you like constricting underwear like I do. My favourites are old school gym shorts, mostly cotton, without a liner and at least 1 or 2 sizes too small. There is definitely not a bit of a pouch, just the contrary. The tight fabric compresses my male parts and the center seam cuts in between the balls. No adjusting necessary or even possible, because everything is forcibly held in position as soon as I pull these shorts up. You'll have a hard time finding any but perhaps you are lucky at yard sales or flea markets. You might possibly look for teenage sizes.
  12. Me, too. As I am into long-time holding and not into wetting I managed to refrain for a full day many a dozen times. My maximum was 35,5 hrs some years ago. Just now I am sitting at my desk (home office due to corona) and try not to let me get too distracted from my work after 18 hrs of holding. An hour ago I thought I had to give up but was able to overcome rock bottom. Now I am feeling a constant pleasant urge and I am confident to be able to postpone relief for some additional hours.
  13. Sometimes if I am in the mood I like to keep a full to overfilled bladder for as long as possible. To achieve a feeling close to bursting for hours I usually pee very small quantities every hour or 2 hours and only as soon as I feel I can't hold it for another minute. Though it is sometimes a hard job to cut off the flow after 10 seconds the pleasure of reaching a state of absolute urge soon after is worth it. Imagine the pleasurable feeling on the verge of wetting going on for hours. A 2nd advantage is that continuously stretching the bladder leads not only to hours of 'pleasant overfullness' but definitely a bigger volume . Years ago my max was keeping my bladder full to overfull for 18 hours.
  14. Especially being on vacation or backcountry camping with friends I usually restrict my pees to the utmost minimum deliberately. Sometimes someone notices that I hardly ever go in the morning, even skip a pee at lunch time and can wait until evening. Once a fellow passenger commented to me one afternoon (me driving, pressing my thighs together and sometimes a bit squirming) that he was not surprised seeing me like this as he had not seen me void since getting up. When I stated that his observation was correct and that I would only pee twice or mostly even once a day he was scared. To start into the day with a little urge, to eat lunch feeling a noteworthy pressure and heading toward dinner time with a demanding bladder seemed rather whimsical to him. Once we had a coffee break at a roadside diner where the others saw the gents while I went to gas up. Three hours later we stopped for a historic landmark, Navajo settlement ruins. I really had a hard time not to show my predicament as I was close to wetting. A friend grinned at me and said it had not been a good idea to have coffee and skip peeing. Anyway I managed to calm down my direst need. I even could stand the waves of urge on the one hour's drive to our destination, an undeveloped campground. I tried to sneak away in an instant but my friend seized me by the arm and offered me a can of beer. He said with a laugh "I wonder if this can makes you pee your pants. Your bladder must be full to the brim" With a sigh I downed it and could even wait for another ten minutes shifting around and fidgeting. The relief afterwards was incredible. What did you get to hear or how was the reaction when you stated that you are holding it voluntarily ? Holdimax
  15. I fully admit. There is simply more room left for a full bladder if you bend a bit forward.
  16. First, I am into holding, not wetting. If I am doing a long intentional hold I prefer very constricting underwear, preferably old school cotton gym shorts 1 or 2 sizes too small. The extra pressure on my belly bottom eases the negative feelings when I have to stand a very full or overfilled bladder. In summer and if at home in privacy I like to wear undersized jeans cutoffs without underwear for the same reason.
  17. Every now and then and mostly after a long intentional hold I also experience a second wave of urges soon after I went in the end. There is no correlation in between holding time, quantity held or voided, urge before the 1st pee, time of day and so I don't know why it occurs or when it is going to occur. Usually I ignore the urge and the feeling subsides after some minutes.

I experience the same and perhaps that is one of the reasons why I chose to reduce peeing to twice a day on a regular basis: to enjoy the feeling of a more or less full bladder at least for some hours each and every day. I usually don't feel uncomfortably full but comfortably overfull and I hardly ever pee before it gets stressy.

Simply leave out your morning pee and you get rid of the problem to have to go to bed with a full bladder. 16+ hours would mean enjoying maximum urge by late afternoon with the option to carry on approaching 24 hours. If I intentionally go for a full day's hold (which I do every now and then) I try to start and end by dinner time. As I usually restrict peeing to twice a day also if I am not holding it intentionally there are two patterns or schedules for me: morning and evening or noon and bed time. If I opt for the latter I regularly leave out my morning pee and I suppose you will as well easily adapt to this behavior.
  20. The best of two worlds is to have a very full bladder and then wait for relief for the longest time possible. Personally, I like to fill my bladder gradually and slowly und then try to tolerate the rising urge as long as possible. Feeling close to bursting and then still waiting for hours until surges and spasms begin or I start to leak is quite a challenge.
  21. Though I can hardly decide which was the worst situation ever I remember a visit to an amusement park many many years ago. Together with friends we had some coffee and coke and by mid afternoon decided to rent a rowing boat on the lake included in the park. While my friends had seen the gents at noon I had skipped the visit as I would always do. Out on the lake I realized that I was already feeling a rather strong urge that was getting worse every minute. My friends had a lot of fun on the water but I really could not join them and became rather quiet. They asked we what was wrong and I had to admit that I was close to bursting because of my overfilled bladder. To my dismay they started to make fun of me. After an hour which seemed an eternity to me we went back and I raced into the bathroom and had a longed for piss.
  22. Many years ago I experimented with a 'cock plug' made from soft silicone with rounded ends, app. 3" long and about 1/4" wide. It was the time when I tried to reduce peeing regularly to in between twice and once a day which meant that I had to stand a very full bladder for hours a day. To prevent unintended leakage when surges and spasms began I used the said device for reasons of precaution. But in an instant I realized that wearing the plug was all but comfortable though the intended effect of blocking the output worked well.
  23. I don't like short-term holding, drinking big quantities and getting desperate very fast. Instead, I prefer to build up a strong urge by waiting and waiting and waiting. For me it is a desireable challenge to fill up my bladder over time and then stand the slowly rising urge for some additional hours. On the other hand not just once I went for dinner in a restaurant or met friends in a bar after work with an urging bladder filled up since early morning. Being an experienced holder, having to put away even a strong urge while in public happens to me every now and then. I savor the feeling being full close to wetting while behaving like relaxed, downing a 2nd or 3rd beer. I count on the fact that especially if I am already very full the urge subsides for a certain stretch of time if I keep on holding it.
  24. Being on my usual twice-a-day-pee schedule I pee in the morning and eventually in the evening. This means that I hardly ever void again a 3rd time before going to bed and thus have to get to sleep with an all but empty bladder. So I unlearned the routine and simply got used to it. Sometimes if in the mood and if I have the privacy I even skip the next morning pee and start into the day with a bladder absolutely full or even already aching. I enjoy having breakfast with surges and twitches haunting me every minute. If I manage to overcome this period the nearly irresistible urge calms down and I can wait for some additional hours.
  25. Personally, I void 600 to 700 ml regularly when not holding and that is definitely not my maximum. Perhaps you should hold more often, more consequently, perhaps try to restrict your peeing to 3 times or even twice a day like I do. The positive effect is that you recognize 500 or 600 ml not as a full bladder that implies instant voiding. When I come home from work I realize that my bladder is all but empty but the feelings are far from an urge. And as long as the feelings don't change for a certain discomfort I still refrain. So on a normal working day I usually wait in between 12 to 16 hours from my morning to my evening piss. I am acting like this for many many years, far more than 10+, and I think I gained a very well trained bladder.
