  3. I really suck at trying to make a world map for RPGMAKER VX ACE, any pointers? I just don't like the world map tileset its too flat and you can't do realistic elevation differences. Its also the same set as MV, but smaller resolution.

      Yeah for some areas. The ones I found work as well, which are western toilets, which you also use, but I also want those. As a good mix will be nice.

    Explained about Hecate above, but yeah, her name appearing in those events is a little bug I forgot to fix so, sorry about that : [ Thanks for your enthusiasm though, I'm glad you're liking the game so far. : ] I think there's about 3 or 4 items that have duplicates, much like two cards (Golden Plant and Barong cards) but they do pretty much the same. I didn't delete/patch them because I don't want another blank item to be appearing randomly, so... sorry for the confusion. : [ This game is full of typos and grammar issues. Someone I consult for advice in drawings made me a text file with a full list of these once, but only for the very first parts of the game and I could fix them thanks to him. If anyone were to keep track of these errors and make a text file, I promise I'll take time to fix them all. Couldn't have phrased it better. xd On a side note, wow. This page is nearing the million visits. I have to admit I'm happy about it, kinda shows the community is active for the game. Thank you all who bring your support and root for us, gotta keep working hard. Also to mention, next complementary update is planned for May 1st; it will include a few more NPC events, a few more areas in the main map and illustrations both for already existing NPC events and also for the new ones. Look forward for it! EDIT: Yikes, I thought these replies were going to merge... didn't want to take much space here. Oh well. : [

    She joins shortly after arriving to the second allied kingdom in chapter 1. The area below the boulders isn't prepared yet. Since it's purely RPG-side content, I haven't prioritized finishing it yet since I've been loaded with omo-sided content and progression of the story, since I'm rushing things to get to the point where our fourth party member joins the party. As for the magic wall that can be destroyed by Lily's Holy Arrow skill, her magic levels should add up an amount higher than 300. Oh yeah, feel free to exploit this bug for the time being. Fruits will be mostly used to make juices and teas, so it's nothing game-breaking. xd

    The Mercury Glob is the respawning boss of the Catacombs below the southern castle town. After you completed that part of the story, it will start respawning every certain amount of time in different locations of the dungeon. Of course. Griffons and Grineuts drop those items, the Fiery Feathers. In fact, every monster in the main maps of Kriemhild drops all items necessary to enhance each of the girls' weapons up to a certain point. I most likely screwed this one up, gonna check it out. Thanks for letting me know. : D

    What part are you at? Do you have troubles finding the levers or activating the colored doors? Most likely. Every skill and spell learned (or at least most of them) I try to have in their particular color. Dark spells are colored in a very dark color (ironically xd). Thanks for reporting these, they shall be fixed now. : ] Going to check these events later. Thanks for letting me know! The dungeon's lower floors are a mirror of eachother. There should be an exact amount of orbs in one side as there is in the other. If you really can't find more orbs, then send me your save file and I'll give it a look to see if one of them got erased or bypassed.

  9. I'm looking into buying RPGMAKER VX ACE And not using MV at all for my own OMO RPG I wanted to do, based on my own writings, almost a year ago. Yet I have to see if there is a sale coming soon on steam. Since you use VX ace did you make your own desperation system plugin or found it somewhere? I do like yours, but I'm going to ask politely for it if its possible. So please?

      Oh, of course. My desperation engine is based off of a mixture of both Aquarius' and Mojique's with some modifications. If you need help installing it in your own game I could guide you through it, too.

    I'll deffinitely rewrite the events then. Don't want this issue to carry on. : [ Hopefully (regrettable still) it's just the RPG Maker being mischievous. I've had that error happening randomly at Huldra Forest mobs and Cursed Grotto mobs, so probably it is some engine issue. Aggressive fusion spells (notably AoE spells, like Zap! All or Dragonzap) reward more experience than non fusion spells, since when used these spells function as if having a lower attribute level vs monster level (for example, a tier 3 spell of this kind when used as a, say, level 30 Fire + Wind attributes against a level 30 average monster would reward 0 EXP, but since it's a tier 3 fusion spell both attributes would gain experience as if they were 3 levels lower, rewarding 6 EXP for each attribute). The trick's in using spells against stronger monsters, but just in case I'll buff the experience rate a little. All of them randomly? Sounds strange enough, make sure they're not wearing any piece of equipment (cards and accessories included, and in Lily's case, ammo) that changes their attack attribute to fire (and even then, they should still have their base normal attribute). I think I've looked at the only two possible attribute-changing skills that could change their attribute's attacks to fire (being Red Lotus Cut and Flaming Arrow) and in both events, the status is removed after the skill ends. Okay I know what's wrong here. In the event for Lily's Runner I forgot to change the spell user from Solveig to Lily, so that was my bad. xd Yes. Depending on the level of their base attribute, they can be applied up to 4 times (thus capping the buff at 140%). One additional cast is added every 33 levels the attribute gains. There's probably something I forgot to do but I can't find it, really. : [ I've checked all of their skill uses and related events and found nothing so far. Yes, Hecate is still missing two graphics for her skill uses. One is for her support spells (water spells included) and the other is for her Orchestra skills. They should be added by the next update. Haven't really looked into the skill book ever since I implemented it (since it was quite hard, being a new menu instance). Lily's last ethereal spell's learning level was changed, but only internally and I forgot to make the change in her skill book. She learns it at level 35, sorry. xd Another buggy thing about the skill book. That question marked skill is just V-Slash. Sorry about the confusion. : [ It's an evil mutant tree. It will come to haunt us all! Oh yeah, havin a list of these would be good. I've been told of some, but since they're too spread from eachother I tend to forget... Wait wait wait. Which event? xd To tell the truth I've already nerfed dragons once, reducing their HP and damage formula for their breaths. Safest way to fight them is having all the girls' elements at the best condition possible, since the higher of these, the higher magic defense the girls have. Also a hint, try having Hecate use her Tarot Cards to activate the Sun's effect, since it makes the girls immune against fire for a few turns. Of course, any feedback, suggestions and such is always welcome. I'll look forward for it. : ]

    Yes. Actually, doing Chapter 3 would probably take me two whole weeks to do at much, but there are other things to address first much like illustrating some NPC events and redoing some other facesets (I think I've already mentioned it, but I plan to re-do all of the facesets in the game to my own style). Still, finishing the story will become my main priority once everything is in order. You can combine pressing CTRL and spamming the Enter/Z keys. Pressing CTRL ignores delay and waiting time in dialogues, and Enter/Z makes a dialogue to appear all at once instead of being shown slowly. Another thing I've been postponing to fix... The whole game up until Hecate's introductory play (even before the point where free play was released) had the girls with different bladder capacities, which were smaller. Because of this, when the increase of these was implemented, some events suffered from inconsistence in status display. I think I fixed Solveig's and Lily's introductory scenes, but not Hecate's yet since the events are a little more spread. I'll address this in due time. Its damage is actually not that high. Might look like it in lower levels, but its primordial use at higher levels will be its ability to debuff with weapon/armor breaking stats, which lower attack and defense by a lot. Oh yes, that area is completely bugged! Sorry that I haven't fixed it yet. : [ It contains a very special boss, but it's not supposed to be accessed just yet either. Yup, there's hidden stuff in story dungeons made especially for people curious enough. : ]

    Yeah, it was the very first toilet event I tried to do so I didn't quite crack it... But, I mean, every other toilet event works fine, it's just that one (which I'm now planning to change to make more generic). Had a suspicion it wasn't rounding the average up. I'll make sure to change this for the next build. And does it always happen when you minimize it? Or does it happen during other actions too? Fixed this now, sorry! Turns out screen lighting was never applied... my bad. All this was made during early stages of the game's developing, so I wouldn't be surprised if my (even more) unexperienced self had made a mistake or two with item management. I'll make some time in the future to check all those events thoroughly. : [ Only requirement is indeed bonding points amount. They should pop eventually as you play, so don't worry. : ] I've seen this happening indeed, but only to Lily. I'm not sure what causes it, but I think I'll remake the whole potions section because of this. Although I'm not sure if it's just with regular mana potions or with all of them. Geez. Damn snakes, I knew they'd be problematic. Do you remember what did the error say? If I had to guess, it's because your water+wind levels are too high in comparison to the monsters you're using it against. Probably subject to error, but the experience formula for Fiora has the variable being divided by 2 before experience is applied (minimum amount is 1, but if it gets divided by 2, being an integer, it would turn into 0). About her gaining fire exp from normal attacks I'm not sure, though I'm certain all of the possible experience gains for her attributes are skill-locked (meaning that common events that manage this are linked solely to her skills and spells). And about the lightning elemental card, in the patch notes it's specified that regardless of what elements the girls are attacking with, the damage will land with the least resisted element. This meaning of course that the girls will keep their main attribute (normal) and add every other attribute to their attacks based on equipments, skills or status. For example, if you use Red Lotus Cut against a Dragon (fire immunity), the dragon will receive normal damage instead of absorbing the fire damage. I was aware of this, but was kind of ignoring it... I'll address it for the next build. Oh yeah, I think I saw this happening once but forgot about it too. I'll patch the use of the wind crystal to return regular movement speed. Oh true, my bad. Healing effectiveness was actually reduced to 20% instead of being increased to 120%. I'll be fixing this for the next build too. Was aware of this too. Did the first one before actually implementing the monster, but when I did I forgot I had made the card and made a new one. They actually do the same thing (even though one doesn't state the double item or gold rate). Didn't delete one because it would appear as a blank item (or, actually, as a different card). Absolutely correct. Just saw the error on this and fixed it. Thanks : ] The reason for this still eludes me. I've tried to remake the event, use different flags... I'll keep looking into it another time because, to be honest, that event is like dealing with a stubborn mule. xd

    Oi! I think this problem with the toilet is just a thing at Lily's house during the introductory scene. The rest of the toilets in the game (including Lily's house's in future event sequences) work properly, so don't worry! If anything, you might want to use a safe spot. ; ]
