Yo. So uh, without getting into the thick of it, times are tough and I'm currently really short on funds and can't afford my bills. Given I don't want to end up out on the street living that Aladdin life for the rest of my summer, I had it suggested to me that I try writing commissions to try and help myself out that way.
I've very rarely dabbled in fiction, usually only in experiences, so it'd be a new venture for me. I've been told my experience writing is top of the line, so I'm hoping it at least carries over. Consider this a gauging of interest post, if this were a venture I wanted to tackle, how many of you would be interested potentially? I do my best at writing some things, and you get to help a KozmoFox out a little. Might try writing a practice fic or two just to see if my fiction writing carries any value to it, but I'm vaguely confident; I'm a writer and editor by trade, and its essentially all I've ever done, both on site and for work. It's the fiction part thats newer to me, other than just writing tiny drabbles for my own eyes only every now and again.
What do you all think?

While I support your continual growth in creativity and the idea of making money on your own terms, I feel like wetting fiction is still a very niche market. Idk how hard you truly struggle but with the time it can take to commission a quality, original piece, and the small market for it, you may want to just do it on the side while dedication your true efforts into a more traditional and secure form of pay. At least until you prove the writing lucrative enough to pay the bills on it's own.
Or...I could just be wrong lol
Also, I'm definitely not dissing your skill as a writer or the idea; I'm just offering an opinion dressed in safety because I hate to see ANYONE struggle.

I don't see fiction writing bringing in enough revenue to pay the bills. Seems more like beer money to me. You could always give it a shot and see how it goes. Donations are lame in my opinion, but girls on the internet do it all the time. People might expect a little more in return though other than stories on this forum.

I don't see how some people are saying getting paid for doing real life commissions would be botherline prostitution. You do it for free in your lotteries. Users do the same thing with those stories that a paying customer would. If you're going to put out erotic fetish material for people then you might as well get paid.
