  1. When I'm getting really desperate and doing the dance, holding manually, e.g. holding the "tube" with a very tight grip, certainly helps for a short amount of time. But you'll involuntarily loosen your grip every now and then, or the pressure becomes just to high for the amount of force you're willing to apply. You could theoretically use some mechanical means like a shoelace if you're really willing to damage yourself. But I'd most strongly advice against it. You most certainly don't want to have pee backing up to the kidneys, it can do some real damage.

  3. In my opinion fully rightly so. Especially if it hurts in your back you're filled up to the kidneys and should stop holding immediately. In general, if it doesn't feel right, it is not right. You're doing for your pleasure, aren't you? One of my routines: Start with drinking 1 liter of water really quickly. After that I keep drinking water at a comfortable pace. This usually gets me pretty desperate after an hour or so. When I start feeling uncomfortable and/or can't hold without pee-dancing or manual support I forbid myself to do so and force myself to sit or stand still. The dam will break pretty soon. When you start drinking huge amounts you might start feeling unwell at some point. For me, a salty snack like a mini-salami helps. Sometime I just eat a pinch of plain salt. You might want to educate yourself on water intoxication in order to stay on the safe side. Hope this helps 🙂
  4. I don't care about my capacity, but about not damaging my bladder and the related plumbing. Training my bladder to "achieve" new records therefor is off limits for me. I rather lose control, or "lose control" when the pressure becomes to uncomfortable. The few times I measured it was around 650ml. In the rare occasions of extreme holds it might be around 750ml to 800ml. I'm comfortable with that size as it keeps the fill-up-times in check 😉. The one time I looked up related literature it was more about the volume when an average person feels the (urgent?) need to go, being well aware that the max capacity is significantly higher. IIRC the moment when the need to pee occurs seemed to be around 50% to 75% percent of the capacity.

  6. OK, I'm the odd one here: I vote for scenario 1. I would love to see not only the leggings getting wet but also a nice wet spot on the dress. Whatever wins, I'll watch and enjoy it 🙂
  7. I love to pee sitting down, but I would hate to destroy my furniture or the landlord's carpet. So I always set up my protections: A plastic bag with a small towel on top, just to avoid sitting on the plastic, and some plastic sheets below my chair. I can get wet, I can make my puddles, and there's no terrible mess afterwards.
  8. You are supposed to hold. You are allowed to leak a little (a second or two in clothes), but every time you leak you have to drink a glass of water/juice or a big cup of tea or coffee (or whatever your favorite it-makes-me-have-to-pee-drink is .
  9. I never had any smell issues after washing my clothes, even without rinsing them beforehand. But after a wetting, I like to cleanup in the shower before getting out of my soggy clothes, rinsing included 🙂

  12. After an intense holding session I feel the need to pee early on. And I make sure to use the bathroom at first sign of need the day after to give my sphincter a good opportunity to recover.
