  1. I feel like it’s human nature to be concerned with someone else being uncomfortable. People have to be aware of the struggle…particularly when someone has to pee and is showing it. I think some people ignore it for fear of embarrassing the person but I totally think they are aware. I like this! Non verbal expression. I definitely do this from time to time when my need to pee gets hard to control. Do you think this would prompt a response from most people or do you think they would ignore? Sometimes I feel it’s awkward at that point and I just tell whoever I’m with. But it would be interesting to see how long before someone says something.
  2. I absolutely did! I was so proud I made it home lol. But had to run up the steps.
  3. Thank you for this response! This makes total sense and you are probably spot on that it’s all just within and others don’t care like we do. They may care more however…if there was a situation we were stuck in and couldn’t go and then it would probably draw more attention to it. Idk just guessing :)
  4. My sentiments exactly! I love this story! But I do know how it feels to not be trying to indulge and caught in a situation where you really need to pee but there’s an obstacle.
  5. So I go for drives quite often. This time when I was out for my drive I drove along and had to pee and then finally my bladder was at a 7 and decided I should probably turn around or I wouldn’t make it back to the house without peeing on myself. Well when I went to turn the gps on there was no service! So I continued driving but I was totally lost. Pretty soon I really really had to pee and then I was panicked because I had no service in a place I didn’t know. So I’m driving and my bladder is continuing to fill. Eventually I did get service back but it said I was still an hour from home. I must have really gotten off track when I lost service. I had to pee to the point I was dancing in my seat the last half hour. I was probably at an 8. I would get an urge and it would take me to a 9. When I get to the door I’m at an automatic 10 lol. So anyway hopefully this recording I did attaches properly to this post. 8 to 10.m4a
  6. It turns out having to pee really bad raises blood pressure significantly! So here is how I found that out… On Tuesday I had an AM appointment. Since it’s the morning I had my usual coffee and water. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the place but since I had so much to drink I already felt the need to pee when I got there. My goal was to hold it through the appointment since I don’t like going in public bathrooms if I can help it and it was supposed to be fairly quick. But it turns out I went to the wrong location for my appointment lol. So frustrated and having to pee even more I had another 20 minute drive and I’m really starting to have to pee. No big deal I thought…it’ll be quick once I arrive. So I get there and I walk up to receptionist and all the pressure was pushing down at that point. I’m struggling to disguise how bad I have to go. I was discretely bouncing my leg up and down and when that wasn’t working as well I started to cross my legs one over the other and then switch as I’m talking to her. Some people come up behind me and I am sure they saw what was going on. I finally got to sit down and thankfully it wasn’t long before the nurse took me. I went back and I literally could not keep still. She went to take my blood pressure and it was really high and so I ended up telling her that I had to pee really bad and it was a little stressful because I had gone to the wrong location first. She laughed and said yes having to pee will do that to you. I kind of laughed it off with her but really I was surprised with myself because I usually don’t tell people when I have to pee. I just figured it must be so obvious to her and I should offer some explanation for the high blood pressure. But anyway, she told me that when everything was done I could go to the bathroom. The whole time she was trying to make small talk while completing her tasks and kept mentioning how sorry she was that everything was going more slowly. I really felt like she was trying to keep it light. She also joked and said that it’s only because I said I needed to pee that things were taking so long. I was actually starting to get pretty desperate but trying hard to keep somewhat composed but I was definitely doing the pee pee dance. I would be able to sit still for a few seconds but the urge would hit and I would start bouncing slightly and crossing my legs tight again. I held it through the appointment but it was a struggle! I thanked the nurse for being so kind through my appointment. Instead of going to the bathroom there I went to my car and drove until I got to some of the back roads by my house and peed by the side of the road. Couldn’t quite make it home but the release felt amazing!
  7. LOL I am VERY good at this also. The path to my house involves a lot of rural type areas. I often have to pee so bad that I’ll literally just pull over and open the car door on passengers side and squat lol. Sometimes people are coming by but at that point it’s either that or having an accident.
  8. Wow this is very interesting. One of the most fascinating things for me about omo…desperate women with no where or no time to go.
  9. Wow you definitely did you research! And this is a very small population. While it stinks that there aren’t more I’ll enjoy being one of the unicorns here
  10. This right here!!!!! Absolutely!! I think of this scene a lot and I feel like this happens a lot. And being that black women are especially a minority in most places and we already stand out…we stand out even more if we have to pee when others don’t and it becomes super awkward to excuse yourself and/or you feel you are on the terms and bladder timetable of others who are there and you have to wait for the group to go. Girlllll you out here getting me really thinking. It goes really deep.
  11. So I love this question…first of all. Secondly not a stranger. I am too shy. But actually now that I think about it I may have a couple of times but I don’t know if I let them know how bad I had to go. I usually tell them if I’m at the pee pee dance stage and it’s obvious and awkward and they bring it up. Now this is something I have wanted to do. It is on my goal list in the hopes I can overcome being so shy about admitting it.
  12. This right here! This is how I feel about it.
  13. #facts we have all been there before! This answers my question 200 percent . Probably self conscious because I love omo stuff lol
  14. So I loooveeee this question! I feel like women typically don’t speak up about needing to pee in general and wait it out normally out of being shy or whatever. Now… as for your question… for me, I don’t like public bathrooms and am very OCD about where I go and so going in a public toilet is almost torture. I’ll do it but I hate it. Does this count towards your question? I often will plan out my day so I can try and make it home to pee or I end up out for hours and trying to avoid going. I often pee outside before I use a public bathroom. But I do a lot of stuff in downtown locations where you can’t really hide as well to pee outside and so sometimes I give in and go to whatever is close or the cleanest bathroom I can find like a library or something. But this happens frequently.
