  1. Us Canadians are stuck in the past it seems. When will we get our own trendy word for bathroom like "Dunny"? (I don't actually know how new/old that word is. It's just new to me lol)
  2. Now that's one I haven't heard. That's interesting!
  3. I decided to do some googling and it looks like "It's an old term that Canadians just never bothered to drop" is the best explanation. It actually did originate in the USA, and was especially popular in Chicago. But y'all eventually decided to replace it with "restroom" and "bathroom" (whereas Canadians just kept it while adding more synonyms to our vocabulary). So if you ever hear someone say the word "washroom" in the present day, they're either trying to sound old timey, or they're Canadian lol. 4. Florida is far from Canada (or at least as far as you can get while being in the continental USA) But yes, that is a common tourist destination for many Canadians, especially Disneyland lol. I'm curious, how often do you hear the term "washroom" thrown around?
  5. Lol, I like how the interpretation of that word is different for every non-Canadian that encounters it for the first time. Really goes to show how region specific our slang can be sometimes despite the fact that we're neighbours with the USA. Now, for my non-Canadians here, without Googling, what is a "duotang"? I can assure you that most Canadians will know the answer immediately.
  6. Is this in regions of America close to Canada? Or was it possible that you heard it in areas with many Canadian tourists? Yeah, it's such a weird quirk of Canadian culture that we have many ways of saying "bathroom" and we all use em in our day to day lingo. Perhaps it is just old slang that Canadians just decided to keep in our collective vocabulary. Since then, I've found it funny whenever I pull out the word "washroom" to my non-Canadian friends and see their confused reactions.
  7. I'm Canadian, and it wasn't until 2022 that I found out that "washroom" was a Canadian specific word synonymous with "bathroom". Now, to be clear, as a Canadian, I've used the terms "bathroom", "washroom", and "restroom" interchangeably my entire life. It just wasn't until 2022 that I found out that only Canadians use the term "washroom" and most people in the rest of the anglosphere will stare at you weirdly if you use that term with them. I saw a Reddit post where a Canadian once stayed over at their American's friend place and asked to use the washroom. The American proceeded to show the Canadian their laundry room. I started writing fanfics in 2021 and have been using the three terms "bathroom", "washroom", and "restroom" interchangeably in my fics the entire time. But there are a few fics I'm currently working on that take place in the USA, so I'm purposefully tailoring my language to be more USA centric and avoiding my use of Canadianisms lol. (I like adding authenticity to my fics, even if it's at a personal cost to my pride and patriotism. I had to look up imperial units to write this fic. You're welcome American friends). (If you're one of my regular readers, it's a WIP I haven't posted yet and I have no idea when I'm planning on releasing it. It'll be posted when it's done). And none of my readers have ever pointed out to me that "washroom" was a weird word to use, so as I wrote fanfics in 2021-2022, I just thought "washroom" was a normal word to use and didn't think much of it lol. It wasn't until some time in 2022 when I was having a casual conversation with an American friend over voice chat and I told him I needed a washroom break that he was like "what the heck is a washroom?!" The resulting clarification afterwards made me realize that washroom is a Canadian specific slang for bathroom lol. But since none of my readers pointed it out, I just continued to use the three terms interchangeably in my fics since that's how I've used them my entire life (at least until I write a region specific fic). But that's got me thinking, how many different slang words are there for bathroom and other omo terms? And how regional are each of the slang? (i.e. besides omo enthusiasts, very few non-Canadians know what "washroom" means) I feel like being Omo enthusiasts, we all have a good idea of what all the common regional ones are. I.e. Americans use: - The John - The Can The British have: - Loo - Water closet - and also "wee" as slang for "pee" And as I mentioned earlier, Canadians have: - Washroom Off the top of my head, I can't think of any Australian specific slang for bathroom, there's probably at least one obvious one that I know, but forgot and am too lazy to Google atm. And I know the anglosphere includes way more than just those four countries, those are just the main four that ppl think of when they think "anglosphere". I think India is probably the country with the most fluent English speakers (not necessarily native) so I'm curious if there are Indo-English specific slang for bathroom? Perhaps some that use loan words from the various different Indian languages? There's also general slang words that I think the entire anglosphere knows. (If that's not true, let me know, I'm curious how regional these ones are!): - taking a piss - taking a leak - pop a squat There's also one I've started to see recently. Idk if it's been a thing for a while, or if it just recently entered the Canadian vocabulary, or if it is solely Canadian specific, but I've noticed that "I need to powder my nose" is also slang for "I need to use the bathroom". What other slang can you think of? And what regions of the world is this slang used in?
  8. Awesome art as always! Love seeing you fulfill The Owl House requests! My headcanon: Hmm, Luz didn't fully empty her bladder. I'm guessing it's cause of the awkwardness of the situation stopping her from releasing everything. The nearest bathroom is quite a ways away. I wonder if there would be a long line when she gets there...
  9. I both hate and love that pun. I audibly groaned at it and then started laughing lol. Dad joke of the year right there. It's just such a genius placement of the word "dampening" that I never thought I would've seen in my life lol. --- You'd think that Toph being a blind teacher, she would've come up with some way to have her students get her attention and to ask her questions. But it's also so in character for Toph to *not* do that (with her being a non-conformist and being a very "no nonsense" teacher and all that) leading to hilarious situations like this lol. The fact that she thinks of her students as an "audience" says a lot too lol. --- I like to think that, at least for the next few lessons, all her students will think that metalbending has to be done while squirming all because of this one day that Toph did her lesson squirming while demonstrating all the stances lol.
  10. I think this is true. I believe there's a "statute of limitations" of about 1 month for when you can edit the title and tags of a post. It is unfortunate, I've wanted to edit my own fanfics months after I've written them, but encounter the same problem you're currently facing. I wish they changed that and allowed us to edit whenever lol. I don't get why this no edit after a month rule is in place.

Love seeing Charlie Omo! Can't wait to see part 2!
  12. Unfortunately, I also don't know which story you're talking about, but there's an awesome game I played recently that has a similar mechanic to what you're describing: Mojique Mojique is an RPG game where you lead a group of girls that can do magic to fight monsters. Their bladders fill up passively regardless of whether you use magic or not, but I believe using magic makes them fill up slightly faster. And if their bladders are too full, using certain spells may result in them peeing their pants. They can only use so much magic until they just can't hold it anymore. So it's not exactly like mana, but using spells has consequences on their bladders, so it's similar. If you enjoy nudity, then I recommend playing with the uncensored patch which you can add in after installing the game. Follow the installation instructions in the post linked above to install it.
  13. There's a decent amount of Hazbin Omo fanfics posted on Ao3 and omorashi.org in the Omorashi & Peeing Fiction topic. You just gotta search for it. Most authors with headcanons like to explore their headcanons through writing fanfics cause it allows us to creatively explore our favourite stories. Like yeah, canonically, the real story doesn't really have any real Omo in it (unless you squint at that one scene where Vaggie says she has to pee so that she doesn't have to speak in court). But that's not gonna stop us from writing our AUs where we place our beloved characters in Omo situations lol.
  14. I like to think that Angel Dust overtly exaggerates one kink per day every time he goes back to the hotel to see which one turns Husk on the most lol
