Same boat here. All of the above are good points. I also have tried subtle ways to feel out the SO's perception of padding and "water sports" as I call it. Not a ton of interest as far as I can tell, though she will let me rub her during that time of the month through her pad so that's a huge win in my book. I would also be concerned about her question my integrity for waiting so long to say something. But if you do let her know you have to give yourself some slack. It's not an easy thing to discuss, really. There's a lot at risk in being judged and hopefully she would be understanding on why it was hard to talk about it. I would also prob not mention that you have been indulging while she's at work and you're chillin, voluntarily or otherwise. That might make her feel too much a "caretaker" role with an already delicate fetish that many (wrongly) assume is always related to age regression or adult baby roleplay. One possible suggestion, since you have mentioned depression in the mix, is to seek a therapist or counselor, both for the depression and perhaps to open a dialog about this. Might help to air out the things that are bringing you down and the things you need in order to feel well, in addition to giving your wife the opportunity to do the same. These days a lot of medical insurance plans include some kind of tele-counseling, so if cost is a deterrent it's something to look into. Though I have to ask, is there any part of keeping this a secret that adds to the thrill of the experience? Personally I kind of like being the one an only person that knows about this. In recent months I have become more bold about wearing around the house and it gives a bit of a rush sometimes. I obviously can't flood the thing, but I can walk about the house and release here and there. Then once it's done I can go into the garage or bathroom and change, usually going commando the rest of the day. Just a thought.

Depends on the use or acceptableness (is that a word) of the possibility of a messing. Too hard to wear a diaper to work since you can't really go into a common restroom and untape w/o being noticed, should you need to #2. Plus I'm a bit paranoid that the bulkier padding of diapers in public will be easy to see. Pullups are good for work, road trips, wearing around the house if going to be clothed.

Oh that giddy feeling... To me these are the only padding that are worth the slight risk of embarrassment to walk into a store and purchase. Just nothing quite like them. And highly recommend not bothering with the generics, never even close to the same size no matter how "large" they are. Enjoy!

They are definitely worth a try and so, so comfortable. I love wearing these all day when I can get away with it, and don't even mind waiting hours to wet them because they are that good. A little apprehensive about trying them laying on my side, but so far they've proven consistent and absorbent laying flat or sitting down.

Kind of as touched on above, it all depends on either how much you trust someone/people to accept you to the level you expect, or how they react when you start to explore sharing your interests. Sometimes it's easier to engage others first and try to find out what their interests or kinks are (if any). This might help them to relate on why you like the things you like.

Fully agree with all of the above. Being padded is completely under rated, and if someone is really staring at your butt or crotch that much to determine if you're padded, it's them that is weird. I consider myself a weird and curious person yet even I don't put that much effort into identifying padded or non-padded people, regardless of bulge.

I've put a medline 8 x 17 pad inside a diaper and that worked ok, you just have to make sure to get the edges of the pad inside the diaper leak guards. Otherwise the pads and near everything else leak at the sides and if the sides aren't in that channel it doesn't do much good.

Definitely would rather go with absorbency over discretion, Abena and Tenas work well. If you have a slim build and can fit a Goodnites XL, worth a try. Pretty good balance.
