  1. Overall I really liked the story. The characters felt like, well, characters. Not like caricatures that happened to just be copy pasted. I will admit though that it kind of threw me for a loop that the writing style seemed to change at points during the story. Maybe it was for effect, but if that's the case I don't think it had quite the effect intended.
  2. Does anyone know where the graphical assets for this game from? I've seen them in a lot of the rpg games on this forum, but I'm not sure where they're from. (I'm talking about the standing portraits.)
  3. *Spoiler Alert* This story follows the main story of Final Fantasy XIV almost to a tee. If you are player and want to avoid having the main story spoiled, consider this your fair warning. Foreword: I have once again emerged from endless whirlpool of "having no time" to grace the surface world with the latest in a string unlikely to ever completed projects. This work follows the main story arc of Final Fantasy through a combination of old favorites and original characters. As my character was originally an Archer, the exact story arc will follow the line that players take when they choose Gridania as their starting city. Please do note that there will be diapers eventually, but not really any diaper play. If that is major turn off for you, this is your warning. Lastly, please leave any comments, criticisms, concerns, suggestions. Just not any personal insults. I'll take them into account in future chapters. Enjoy. Chapter I: New Arrival G'trihmin smiled pleasantly, her long fluffy dark red tail swayed happily back and forth as she strolled through the dappled patches of sunlight on the now familiar path from her home near the Bannock north to the southern gate of Gridania. Days like these where the glittering sunlight lent an almost magical ambience to the already inspiring beauty of the Twelveswood reminded the mi’qote that she had truly made the right decision trading in the hustle and bustle of Ul’dah for the idyllic peacefulness she now enjoyed. As the morning edged toward midday, she arrived at the gate bidding good day to the dark haired elezen guard on duty before proceeding on her way to the Carline Canopy for a fresh mug of Shroud Tea as she did every week when she came into town to shop. Or rather, that’s what G'trihmin was in the process of doing when a distinct mewling sound distracted her. Turning in surprise, she found a lilac furred mi’qote standing near the cliff side half hidden behind the fan like leaves of a rather large plant. While mi’qote weren’t entirely rare to the Twelveswood, they weren’t exactly common either. The unfamiliar individual in question dressed as G'trihmin once had in the traditional red, white, and black garb. She appeared to be around the same age as G'trihmin who just became an adult although that marker was rather vague. A rather nicely made leather rucksack hung over her back. Right now the lilac furred mi’qote’s bright red skirt was hiked up far enough to flash glimpses of her white underwear as she bounced from foot to foot tightly gripping her between her legs. Her other hand fumbled with an open map, delicate lips pursed. Her eyes frantically tried to read its contents as it flapped wildly with each bounce. Stifling a giggle G'trihmin approached her and offered a sympathetic smile. “Hello, I’m G'trihmin. What’s your name?” The girl’s ears shot straight up in surprise and she dropped the map. Removing the hand from between her legs she turned to face the unexpected greeting. “Mohr.” Her face blushing bright red, Mohr tried hard to appear casual crossing one leg behind the other so she could press her legs together. It only took a few moments before her eyes widened and a few drops fell from beneath her skirt as she jammed both hands up her skirt again. Her ears drooped in shame as she started dancing. “Let’s go to the Carline Canopy, it’s the closest place probably.” “That’s where I’m trying to go! I-” Mohr muffled a squeal as she ran in place. “It’s right over there.” G'trihmin pointed a large round wooden structure slightly over hanging the cliff that bordered the other side of the walkway. “Let me help you.” “Just go, just go! Lead me!” Mohr sucked in a deep breath and managed to summon a second wind sprinting madly for the building G'trihmin indicated. G'trihmin for her part had to run as fast as she could just to keep up with her new companion. They burst into the tavern and made their way along the wall toward the back and entered a secluded hallway. Upon seeing the sign for the restroom Mohr’s ears perked. Her eyes lit up, glittering with hope. Reality doused that hope as quickly as it had sparked. With the promise of salvation so close Mohr’s need spiked causing her to lock up and she would have gone face first into the floor if G’trihmin didn’t catch her first. “No, no, no!” But tears and quiet whispers did nothing to hold back the impending flow. Mohr bounced frantically. She dug her hand in as hard as she could but a momentary loss of control cost her any remaining absorbency her underwear might have had. The dam had truly broken this time and as much as Mohr tried to battle back against the pressing of her need, this was not one war she was going to win. She attempted to loosen up enough to take another step only of her need to overwhelm her and a short spurt spattered audibly against the floor. A soft whine escaped Mohr’s lips as she gritted her teeth. One stray drop trailed down her inner thigh. Then another. A small trickle flicked off as she shivered. Briefly the flow stopped but it was clear to the both of them that any moment the lilac haired mi’qote’s black boots would receive a premature washing. And not one that would leave them smelling nice. With a defeated sigh Mohr threw all caution to the wind. She charged toward the restroom flinging her pack off the process. A clear jet of liquid followed in her wake as her tired muscles gave out completely. G’trihmin went to retrieve the pack which had slid a surprisingly long way down the corridor. She gave most unladylike grunt, its heavy weight catching her off guard. How does she carry this thing so easily? Arriving back at the restroom, G’trihmin found the door wide ajar. Mohr sat on the toilet still fully clothed with as a torrent poured into the bowl beneath her. She breathed deeply eyes closed lips slightly parted as the tension wracking her body drained away. “I’ll, uh, I’ll just leave this here.” Mohr shot G’trihmin a mortified look and buried her face in her arms as the latter placed the pack in the restroom. Eyeing the mess in the corridor and restroom floor, G’trihmin shut the door and headed back into the tavern proper. The familiar tall elezen Mother Mioune greeted G’trihmin from behind the bar as she approached. “A pot of shroud tea for you?” the proprietress asked in her customary welcoming fashion. “Actually, could I get a mop? My friend tracked mud all over back there.” Mother Mioune smiled appreciatively. “You shouldn’t have to do that. I’d do it myself but I’m too busy right now. I can get one of the staff to do it in a little while.” “We’ll do it ourselves. It’s our fault there’s a huge mess.” “Alright I’ll get one for you.” G’trihmin took the mop Mother Mioune gave hear and cleaned up the corridor before knocking on the restroom door. “One minute!” The door finally opened to reveal Mohr now freshly changed into a new skirt and presumably underwear. Seeing the mop in G’trihmin’s hands her eyes widened with fear. “You didn’t tell anyone did you?” “I just said you tracked mud everywhere.” “Thank you.” Mohr breathed out a sigh. “Will you keep this a secret please?” “Sure. I’ll get us a table. There’s nothing like a fresh pot of shroud tea to make you feel better.” Mohr took the mop and bucket with a smile. “Then I’ll look forward to it.”
  4. Can confirm that bug also happens when you try to enter it in chapter 4/5. I forget which it is. Also, Sophie's character model in the preceding sequence is invisible (but you can still finish the sequence if you run around like a headless chicken since the character is in the middle of the screen when you're not near the edges of the map). I've been modding it in MV (including putting cats that I can speak to to teleport to places). I can't figure out how I would fix the entrance to Secondary thing though, it's apparently trying to call a function of a variable that was either renamed, removed, or never implemented.
  5. It was an enjoyable read and well written although I was off put slightly by some of the characterizations.
  6. ... This file IS an English translation, courtesy of quicksort and machine translation.
  7. Am I the only one that finds it weird that no one pointed out that milk curdles when mixed with orange juice?

This game is completely unplayable. The download provided is missing entire folders worth of files that are required to actually run the game. Test: Downloaded and extracted under English, Japanese, and Chinese language locales. Edit: Nvm, I finally got it working. Still can't figure out what anything says though... >.>
  10. Ah yes, FFXIV. I got Shadowbringers but can’t play it because my laptop can’t handle it. Maybe I’ll get around to playing it someday. Also, one can never have too much FFXIV omorashi. (And, funnily enough, I play a female Seekers of the Sun mi’qote.)
  11. It wasn't a theory at that point, it was confirmed at least as early as 2015.
  12. I was trying to figure out what was bugging me about the story. Then I realized that it’s because Vi and Jinx are sisters but in the story they behave as if they only know of each other in a “professional” capacity.
  13. Author's Note: So I finally got some time and I decided to rewrite this story of mine since it was relatively recent. Mostly what I'm doing is fixing a lot of the grammar and missing word issues that occur as a result of my mind autocorrecting as I write. There are a lot of small details that have changed to better reflect certain characterizations and the plot in general. Hopefully it will feel like it flows smoother and, in general, more readable. I'm also going to include a plot summary and character list every so often as a sort of recap to help make it more understandable (and to keep all those pesky details straight in my head). Readers of the original work may recall that I enjoy throwing in references to various popular works / franchises / etc. That's still going to happen. Feel free to point out any that you spot and I'll mention if its right. Posting schedule will average 1 / wk. Really its whenever I actually have time. The first few chapters will be quick because I'm mostly just fixing work I've already done but expect the pace to slow down after chapter 3 or so. Well, enough dilly-dallying. Let us begin again... Games Within Games Definitive Edition Chapter I: On The Way Home (1 Reference) Sonata grinned happily as she held onto her package. The cardboard box was clearly too large for the newly turned thirteen year old to hold properly, but she wouldn't give it to anyone else. She would have skipped if not for the fact it she might lose her precarious grasp on the box. As it were, her long caramel colored hair danced with the slight bounce in her step. “Curb,” warned her twin sister Moxie as they exited the mall and stepped into the parking lot. Although the two girls were practically identical in height and build, that was where the similarities ended. Sonata had green eyes while Moxie's were hazel. Sonata liked to wear her hair loose while Moxie always tied her honey colored hair in a ponytail. Sonata preferred cheap designer knock-offs whereas Moxie couldn't be bothered and just bought whatever fit her off the shelf and felt comfortable. Today Sonata wore a t-shirt and dark jeans while Moxie wore a sport jacket and skirt. Moxie acted as Sonata's eyes since the latter couldn't see below her box. Their father Ted followed behind carrying Moxie's box. A fairly handsome man with light blond hair and blue eyes, he often joked that he couldn't possibly be their father since neither of them had inherited his skin or eye color. “Thanks sis.” Sonata carefully stepped down the curb and hurried to the family's sedan. After depositing the purchases in the trunk, everyone piled into the car and they left the mall. “I can't wait.” Sonata threw her hands in the air. A muffled thump resounded as she accidentally hit the roof. Sonata glanced towards her sister who was watching her antics in quiet amusement. “Come on, I know you're excited too.” “Of course I am.” Moxie grinned. The grin faded from her face as the car pulled to a halt. “Oh dear.” “That's a lot of traffic.” Sonata's excitement subsided somewhat as she looked at the sea of cars in disappointment. “Rats, I wanted to make my character today too.” “You have to wait for tomorrow. Your mom and I have guidelines to set for you two first.” “Oh yeah. You told us that earlier didn't you?” Sonata giggled. “My bad. I forgot.” Stop. Go. Stop. Go. Traffic was making progress, just not very much. At all. “Squirrel.” “Locust.” “Tarantula.” “...Aardvark's already been said right?” “Yup.” “Anteater?” “Said.” “Uh, Acromantula?” “That's not even a real animal...” After dithering for another few seconds Moxie shook her in defeat. “Alright fine. I give up.” The rules for the game were simple, each player had to think of an animal whose name started with the last letter of the previous animal's name with no repeats allowed. “Arowana.” “Archerfish.” “Horsefly.” Sonata and Ted continued to go back and forth for several minutes before Ted gave up trying to think up an animal that started with 'x'. “You're too good,” sighed Moxie. Sonata just nodded smugly, but as the glow of her victory faded she realized something. Back when they were still in the mall she hadn't needed to use the restroom. Now an urge pushed itself to the forefront of her mind. No problem for a mere forty-five minute drive. But here they were now half an hour later still only a couple care lengths past the freeway entry ramp. Sonata shifted uncomfortably and looked at the cars in front hoping for some hint of the gridlock breaking. “How long do you think until we get home?” The one asking was not Sonata but Moxie from her position leaning against the door her head resting on the cool glass window. “Dunno,” replied Ted. “I've never seen such bad traffic. Must be an accident or something.” “Oh.” “Why? Something the matter?” “No... not really.” Time and the car crept along in equal measure as if moving through molasses. As the pressure behind the waistband of her jeans began to weigh more heavily upon her mind, she found herself wondering whether she really could wait until they got home or not. Better to be safe than sorry. “Do you think we can stop somewhere? I kinda have to use the restroom.” “I was going to switch to surface streets anyways,” confessed Ted. “Might be faster. I'll find some place after we get off the freeway.” “Thanks.” Getting off the freeway turned out to be more of a project than any of them were expecting, even taking into account the traffic. Sonata's clenched drummed against the window frame as she pressed her thighs together. Where was the darn exit?! “Dad, please hurry.” Moxie crossed her legs pressing her back into the seat. “There is no faster sweetheart. Something wrong?” “I really need to use the restroom.” Moxie took deep breaths as she bounced her knees up and down. “Why didn't you go at the mall?” “I didn't need to go then.” All this talk of the restroom wasn't helping Sonata one bit. Her need seemed to spike in intensity and she clenched her muscles until it subsided somewhat. She rubbed her thighs together. Hopefully they would find somewhere soon. But soon wouldn't come soon enough. Moxie gasped and pressed a hand between her legs. The exit was in sight. They only had to last until they got off the freeway and found some place to stop. After a couple seconds, Moxie quickly removed her hand. Sonata shot her sister a sympathetic glance. Moxie was clearly fighting against her instincts, a quivering hand clutching the hem of her skirt as she chewed nervously at her lower lip. Against her will, her hand found its way back between her legs while she squirmed in the seat panting. “I c-I can’t hold it!” she squeaked out. “Please, just pull over!” “Here?” “Anywhere!” “There’s not enough room on the shoulder.” Moxie choked back a sob. She needed to keep waiting even though she couldn’t. Her entire body shook with exertion. Her skirt was hiked up exposing her white underwear as she used both hands to fight back against the impending flood. “You can do it, sis.” Sonata kicked off a shoe and hoisted her foot onto the seat so that she could sit on her heel. She leaned over and rubbed her sister’s back pretending not to notice the tears gathering in Moxie’s eyes. “I can’t!” Moxie hissed back quietly. “Sonata, even if we find somewhere I don’t think I can stand up.” “Well just… try your best, I guess.” Sonata pressed against her heel hard as her need spiked again. With shaking fingers she undid her jeans and that seemed to take the edge off the intensity, at least a tiny bit. By some miracle they managed to make it onto the exit ramp. The sharp sound of liquid hitting leather filled the car as despite Moxie’s best efforts she lost a spurt. She clenched everything she possibly could, eyes squeezed shut. With monumental willpower she managed to clamp down on the sudden outflow and regain some semblance of control. The cost was more than Moxie realized. More than her now wet underwear, skirt, bottom, and hands. Across the row Sonata’s need reached a new peak as she was forced to listen. Her body reacted sympathetically, intent on ridding itself of its own liquids. Sonata bit down on her lip as she finally joined Moxie in bracing her tired muscles using her hand. The car pulled into a gas station, and both girls immediately piled out. Moxie lost control again as she stepped onto the pavement. She bobbed and danced rivulets of urine trailing down her legs as she grimly held the leaking to a slow steady stream for a few more seconds before being overpowered. She covered her face in shame as urine flowed freely soaking her socks, shoes, and creating a huge puddle. The only bright side was that she had spared the car seat… mostly. Sonata didn’t pay any mind to Moxie focused instead on getting herself to a restroom before she too suffered a most embarrassing fate. She barged into the gas station’s convenience store holding her herself. Blushing furiously she asked the attendant between curtsies where the restroom was and promised to buy something. The attendant pointed off in a direction and Sonata ran like mad. A few minutes later a very much relieved but still very embarrassed Sonata emerged and purchased a small snack before returning to the car. Moxie mopped up everything as best she could with a freshly purchased package of napkins and they set off again. Sonata offered Moxie a gummy bear and she accepted gratefully.
  14. I'll be the boring one. I'd stick it all in investments and live off the interest.
  15. Y'know, that clips makes so much more sense now in context.
