  1. Three days after getting my three teeth pulled my mouth still hurts, this is getting rather annoying now.

Well, if they were together (and presumably they were) that's quite a bruising number on your jaw. Sedation isn't common here but one of my two was broken such that they needed to really dig for it. To be honest I remember nothing and for the first half a day I was too dazed to feel much.  Anyway, you very much have my sympathy!

I still remember long ago when I had four impacted wisdom teeth pulled. I couldn't eat anything but soft food for a week. Be strong Jill. This too shall pass.

Fortunately they didn't need to sedate me they just gave me Novocain and pulled them out. Unlike that last time when I had the tooth pulled though this was three teeth in three separate parts of my mouth so basically my entire mouth was affected. And I think they had a harder time getting these teeth out than they did the other one because especially that last one they really needed to dig at it to get it out. I don't normally experience much pain from dental stuff but this is rather irritating and probably the worst dental procedure that I have had done.

I had teeth pulled at age 12 before getting braces but that I was knocked out for, the only time I was ever sedated for anything dental related and was pretty out of it.That was bad because I didn't really expect that they were actually going to knock me out in order to take teeth out like that and I was pretty out of it for a while after that.

Fortunately I didn't have impacted wisdom teeth because I actually had told my cousin about how I needed teeth pulled and he told me that he had impacted wisdom teeth and it was one of the most torturous things ever. He said he had never really experienced dental pain before but he said he went into work one day with a mild tooth pain and by the end of the day he had to pretty much go to the emergency room to have the teeth removed, and he said that it took them over like a half hour to get them out and it was just a huge chaotic thing and agonizing. So I'm glad that at least I got them taken care of without it having anywhere near that bad.
