Okay, I'd like to suggest a different interpretation and enforcement of Rule 2. Considering that the second part of the rule is "otherwise involve them in sexually explicit situations", the first half could be better implemented as "no notably underage characters depicted in such a way that calls to attention their sexuality or excessively details their sexual functions and bodily parts". To use the sorts of works I've written, I certainly frequently depict underage characters, but the extent of their sexual appeal comes down to the base of the omorashi fetish as a whole, i.e. desperation and/or wetting/peeing. They are not engaged in (on page) sexual relations, there is no detail of their private body parts beyond what is necessary, no character views them in a sexual light. The way I see it, any further moderation is only applying discretion in ways that it does not deserve, as stories and art featuring fictional underage characters beyond "toddlercon" causes no harm, the base reason to ban certain depictions. Even the Japanese government, when faced with the recent UN proposal to criminalize a vague description of "sexualized underage characters", responded with (paraphrased) "it's a shame you decided that without allowing us to make our case, but it's not legally binding, so we'll keep on going the way we always have."
I agree, incredibly underage characters, or any underage character depicted in an inherently sexual light does raise concern, a simple loli falling victim to a natural bodily function is no grounds for rule enforcement. After all, the reason we omorashi fetishists are drawn to lolis and shotas as a whole is that, as children, they are more likely to become desperate and wet themselves, and a more natural story can unfold without bringing sexuality into the fold, the way members like me prefer it.
If this is the way the rule is meant to be read, then alright. If it's more of a brick-wall ban on underage content, then let it be known that I am in staunch opposition.

No we won't, we'll just ignore the trademark completely because they can't realistically enforce it, lol.

No, it won't. Tags are an exact match, not partial match.
Not sure how these changes make the site more "heteronormative", but thanks for the feedback.

So instead of improving tagging, it's now even harder to actually find what you want and avoid being bombarded by content you didn't want to see. As if the site weren't frustratingly heteronormative enough, it's now much more difficult to avoid getting tits shoved in my face since, by the way, "male" is part of the word "female" so will tend to come up even if labeled correctly.

OmoOrg can TM Omorashi until they're blue in the face. In fact anyone can. You can put TM next to anything that you claim to be your identifying mark in your particular market. It's only a courtesy request to others, to not use the name. Because you don't need to be the first one to TM it, and because it isn't regulated and enforced, you can imagine a lot of things get trademarked.  Registered Trademark ® on the other hand is registered, meaning you have reserved the right as the first registerer to have exclusive use of the mark.

I remember when a certain Japanese video game company, which shall remain nameless, trademarked the abbreviation "RPG". Does anyone else remember that? No, because it was utterly stupid and they quickly learned how impossible it was to stop people from using that abbreviation when talking about a "Role Playing Game". They completely gave up on it when the military started using it to describe "Rocket Propelled Grenade". But really what Rearz is doing is even more dumb, why don't they just try to copyright "the" or any other word in the dictionary? If they are so set on labeling one or more products with these words, which are common Japanese words even if Romanized, they should pursue trademarking intentional misspelling variations with the same identical phonetic pronunciation to them, lots of companies have successfully done such with no public backlash resulting.
As example "Omutsu" could be rewritten as:
Ohmutsu Omutsue Omutssu Oomutsu And so on, I think y'all get the idea. Oh, even more fun, "ABDL" could be:
EhBeDeEl ("Eh" in Canadian English dialect is literally pronounced "A", which would make it a bit comical being a Canadian company.) A-Bee-Dee-L Again, I think everyone gets the idea. The name would still have the identical pronunciation to the original abbreviation, and instead of ticking people off trying to trademark the source they would instead be viewed as paying homage in a respect.

RearZ just needs to dissolve as a company. They've made too many stupid mistakes in the past couple of years to even get any support. They've tried to trademark ABDL, they made a, forgive the unintentional pun, piss poor decision with the breast cancer diaper crossover (using their Rebelz print as the diaper of choice,) and now this.

Whoever is in charge at RearZ has their head so far up their own ass it makes me disgusted to even think that I had ordered their products before. I never will support them and will continuously dissuade my friends from buying their products.

    1. The previous system was not good for this either, especially considering there wasn't even a male/female subcategory for doujinshi/comics, which constitutes roughly half the gallery.
    2. An extremely small percentage of the gallery is male content, and the gallery is almost entirely softcore content to begin with. I don't think it's a big deal having to scan through some softcore male omo in the gallery every now and then. Really. Open the Artist CG category and tell me what you find there that is just so bad you can't bear to see it in your face at all.
    3. If you want a feed of content curated only to your interests, that's what the activity feed is for.
For example, it took me a whole 30 seconds to make a gallery feed for only female tagged content:
    https://www.omorashi.org/discover/134/
    4. I do plan to implement support for tag filtering in the future. This upgrade is to set the foundation for that. For now, I don't think the current changes are going to kill you.

See, you're not a fan of furry content either. Should I have created a dedicated category just for furry content too, just because you don't like it?
The fact of the matter is you're going to end up seeing some content you're not a fan of. There's a limit to what we can reasonably do to mitigate that, especially in a gallery platform. We can't make the site perfect so you only see what you like everywhere you go.
The front-page of the gallery will encompass an array of works of different themes. The activity feeds are there for people that prefer not to deal with that.

After some consideration, I have decided to grant Established Members access to negative reputation as well.
But this will be the minimum requirement, no other groups will be given access (even if it is widely requested). Active Members will not be granted access to negative reputation.
In regards to your edit, these changes are not retroactive. If you were an Established or Contributory Member before the changes, you will retain that status unless the privileges are abused (in which case accounts will be manually downgraded after a warning is issued).

Sweet! A lot of amazing improvements! Hell, this is showing a hell of a lot more care towards the community than a lot of the sites I've visited, fetish orientated or not! It's incredible!
Finding this site was like a dream come true to me! A place to finally meet and interact with others of the same interests that wasn't so popular among my irl friends!
I love the addition of the kinks setting. It makes it so much easier to see what your friends and others here take interest in, and that I like!
Thank you devs for bringing and introducing one of the most welcoming and greatest sites full of people who have the same interests as me! Thank you OmoOrg!

Necroposting for sure. But you deserve some credit from beyond the grave.

I joined when the site had that weird dark gray layout. It's really something how far it's come. Probably the best community like this out there.
