female Jailor Eckman's Commission Thread!

Hey, guys!  Many of you have asked, and I am excited to announce that I have decided to start taking commissions (and have most of my ducks in a row)! 😆

First, I should mention my request thread.  I am currently not accepting further requests, though I am still committed to honoring the ones that I have already accepted!  I spend a lot of time on these images (sometimes between six-and-a-half to seven hours), and considering that I try to get one to two done per week (including intermittent pages for my comic, Off-Limits!), it is hard to justify spending that much time on them.

So, why commission me?  The first benefit is that paid work would receive priority over free work.  I have a backlog of thirty-some requests. This means that, if you were one of the later requesters, you likely won’t see your work for a long time.  The second benefit is the ability to provide input during the creation of a piece; I simply don’t have time to take active input on free requests, but most certainly can if the piece is commissioned!

In case you haven’t seen my work before, I keep all of it (save for the comic) in my Hoard, which you can access here.  I hope that gives you an idea of what I am and am not capable of.  Recently, I have been practicing anatomy more seriously as well as working on more detailed background paintings.

For now, I am opening up 3 slots for commissions.  This way, I can promise to complete your commission in a reasonable timeframe (within two weeks).  I will keep this thread updated as slots are occupied or freed up!

So, if you are interested in commissioning something from me, here’s what you should do!

Reach out to me with what you are interested in having drawn!  You can do this by DMing me or emailing me at jailoreckman@gmail.com (please put “Commission” in the subject line, as it will mean getting a faster response from me!).  This is also an opportunity for you to really go into detail about what you want!

I’ll probably end up asking you a lot of questions, because I want to get the drawing right!  Any input or detail you can provide during the early stages will be of tremendous help!

If I accept the commission, I’ll draft you up an invoice for a deposit of 50% of the cost of the completed piece.  You’ll have a slot reserved for 48 hours until I receive your deposit.  Once I have your payment, I’ll get to work on your drawing!  If necessary, that may mean sending you another email with a few very rough thumbnail sketches so I can nail the composition before I get to work on the bigger piece!  If you want any major changes (pose, camera angle, setting, etc.) to be made, this will be the time to point them out to me!

When I know what you want in terms of composition, I’ll get started on the actual piece.  I will do my best to keep you up-to-date as I work on it, by sending you images of the work in progress depending on the type of image you want (for instance, sketches will be fairly bare-bones).

After I have completed your commission, I’ll send you a sample (watermarked and low-res) of the final image along with another invoice for the last 50%.  Once I have your last payment, I’ll send you the completed image along with any of the relevant editable files. (I work in Krita, so they will be in a .kra format).

To be honest, this was the biggest reason I hesitated to actually start taking commissions.  I put a lot of time into the images you see in my Hoard… usually six-and-a-half hours or more.  It’s hard to justify spending that much time (and occasionally double that, if I post two in a week) on Omorashi artwork, despite my love for making it.  The pricing I’m presenting here is what it would take to be worth it. Note, however, that depending on what you want done, it may cost more or less!

That being said, the “stages” you can commission should look familiar:

$17  Note: Backgrounds do not increase the price of a sketch!

$34

$43

$60

If you want to add a background, I have two options:

Simple Background:

+$5 (Free with sketches!)

Full Background:

+$17 to $60, depending on the stage (Free with sketches!).

These prices are approximations based on a full-body image of a single character with a moderately complicated outfit.  Additional characters may simply be included in the price of the background, depending on the kind of detail that you want.

I’m generally pretty laid back about what I will do, and only have a few things that I won’t do.

Will Do! -

1: Desperation or Wetting

2: OCs

3: Diaper

4: Furry*

5: Bondage

6: Tickling

7: Etc.

(*I am absolutely willing to do furries, but I don’t have experience drawing them, so this may be a gamble for you!)

Also, I am willing to do SFW stuff too!  Like D&D character portraits, backgrounds, and so on.  (Just thought I’d throw that out there, lol!)

Won’t Do!

1: Loli or Underage (Automatic ‘No’)

2: Copyrighted Characters or Characters You Don’t Own (Will do an “off-brand” version of any such character, though!)

3: Images Based on Real People

4: Male-Focused Commissions.

Hooray for cover-my-ass legalese!  This section is mainly intended to provide coverage for common problems that occur with commissioning artists.

Anyway, by choosing to commission artwork from me, you are accepting the following terms:

I, as the artist of the piece:

1: * Retain the full copyright of the piece.  This means that I can publish the image to promote myself on websites, in print, or anywhere else I want, including for commercial purposes. (I am very willing to negotiate this term, especially if you are uncomfortable with me using the piece commercially!)

2: Require that my signature remain on all versions of the image. (Please don’t photoshop it off, lol!)

3: Will not provide refunds on the first 50% of the payment once I have started working on the piece!

4: Reserve the right to increase the price of work should the commissioner request difficult or time-consuming changes during the creation of the piece.  (I want to match your vision perfectly, but cannot afford to spend six years tweaking a ~$17 image!)

5: Am not obligated to make changes to the piece once I have deemed it “complete.”  (This applies mainly to difficult changes, which will raise the price. I may still, in good faith, choose to make free revisions for you, but this is at my discretion!)

6: Reserve the right to cancel your commission and refund (in whole if I have not started, or 50% of) your purchase at any time during the creation of the piece.

You, as the commissioner of the piece:

1: May use the piece in any personal way.

2: May use the piece for self-promotion so long as the original artist is credited. (My signature will suffice!)

3: Retain full copyright of OCs or original content, though not the drawing itself.

4: May negotiate with me to sell the piece as or on merchandise, or use it in other commercial ways.

Examples of Copyright Infringement Include:

1: Taking credit for the work, original or altered

2: Failing to credit the artist (e.g. removing my signature)

3: Making commercial use of the piece without negotiating with the artist.

Now that all of the ugly technicalities are out of the way, here’s something fun!  For the first TEN commissions I receive, I will be providing an automatic 20% discount for all types of drawings!

I was wondering when you were going to start charging - you could probably make a decent sum out of doing so. I did say I didn't have any requests in the other thread, but now this is an option I may consider paying for some of my ideas...but I haven't made my mind up which yet! The 3 I'm choosing from are a desperate woman weeing her black leather skirt as her aroused boyfriend unlocks the door, a Thai student weeing her uniform skirt in a queue of desperate young ladies, and a North Korean female traffic police officer losing control at her post (though you said in the other thread you were planning a longer comic on such a topic, so I'll probably choose something else). I think I'll go for the Thai student, since I think I've only ever seen 1 picture of omorashi art featuring one. I'll send you more details later...

I've only ever seen 1 piece of artwork on that subject before and it was on Deviantart. Here it is.

Cute but I'm sure you could do better! And, yes, that is a realistic outfit - students actually have the option of a longer more modest skirt but Thailand's tropical weather means many go for the cuter option!

Personally I'd blame the lack of such art on the ban on porn in Thailand; this art was drawn by a Thai artist but producing any kind of explicit content is illegal there so anyone doing so has to do so in secret - and why bother when there's so much omorashi porn from other countries with more liberal laws?

Only one I've ever seen. Thailand's restrictive porn laws probably mean that art of ladies wetting those gorgeous uniforms is very unusual. Same goes for the lack of Vietnamese, Cambodian, or North Korean uniform art - I know you've expressed interest in a comic of the latter before!
