Ajax7408 341
I found out last week that in China they actually make pull-up diapers designed especially for menstruation that look a lot like Goodnites. They are allegedly very popular over there as well for wearing to bed since tampons are hard to find. If only they did this in America and Europe. Guest Masyanyalover
Cool! I’ve heard of depends being used for heavy periods, and I wonder why there aren’t any much period pull-ups opposed to tampons, period cups, and Maxi-pads, Quote Link to comment
nappypants 1,402
I think they tried marketing them some years ago, but I guess the stigma of wearing a "nappy" limited sales. But that was probably before even Tena pull-ups etc. were around. There's no reason why incontinence pull-ups or nappies couldn't do the job anyway, Quote Link to comment
rachelkirwan 13,625 Posted December 31, 2018 🌟 OmoOrg VIP Share Posted December 31, 2018 I've definitely worn a pullup on my period, they are about the same as huge over night maxipads and stay in place way better, and they don't like protrude over the sides of your panties like pads do. I didn't know this was a thing beyond menstruating people who also happen to wear pullups for other reasons though. Ajax7408 and nappypants 2 Quote Link to comment
Brandie 177
I may be wrong but I was led to believe that this was sorta common in most of eastern Asia. But becoming less common as there economies grow and they can afford pads and tampons etc. My ex wife used them and had a store front in her house that sold diapers and about 10% of her diaper sales were to women for their periods. At that time she sold single diapers or packs and a single diaper was about 12 cents in Canadian dollars. She could not buy Tampons or pads anywhere to sell in her store. Noname0 8
Actually, we have several different models of sanitary pull-ups here in China. However, my girlfriend is against this to some degree cuz we both get slightly turned on when she accidentally leaks a limited amount of blood into her panties. Here's the model she wears outside her panties when she wants to protect her pantyhose, jeans or something like that. rachelkirwan and Ajax7408 2 Quote Link to comment
China Girl 835
I've heard of these but I don't know anyone who wears them aside from my friend and I who like diapers in general. Most women favour pads I think, though I haven't gone around asking lots of women about that because, well, it's a bit personal... Quote Link to comment
Catgirl King 80
Maybe I speak out-of-turn for this, but to a certain extent it makes sense. ...it's pretty cute, regardless. Eheh. nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment
nappypants 1,402
I do like this idea... though I've seen washable period underwear being marketed more widely recently, and sometimes referred to as "period nappies" despite the fact they look like regular knickers! Quote Link to comment
silvermoon 564
Some of my friends used to do this when they were teens, partially because the teen-sized diapers were cheaper than pads. nappypants 1 Quote Link to comment
