nappypants 1,403
I like "knickers", as a feminine-sounding British word... "underwear" is also fine, or "pants" in the sense of underwear, as opposed to the American meaning i.e. trousers. The latter two words are unisex ones, and someone male or female might commonly refer to "wetting their pants" meaning going to the toilet in their underwear. "Panties" feels mostly American, rather like "diaper"... I don't mind them, but prefer the words I grew up with. Edited September 22, 2018 by nappypants (see edit history) Quote Link to comment
EmmaWees 394
I prefer panties. On 7/13/2018 at 11:36 PM, hoimi said: Panties. I have a story. I had moved into my Grandma's house, because I needed a place to stay while I was looking for an apartment. On the first night, I couldn't sleep and felt ill. I was on my way to the bathroom, when I ran into my Grandma. She was wearing her underwear on her head, over her hair. "Why are you wearing your panties on your head?" I asked, shocked. In her Southern dialect, she replied, "It keeps my hair poofy." So, apparently, panties are underwear and for the head. Edited September 22, 2018 by EmmaWees (see edit history) Quote Link to comment
