Avon 83 Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) Thanks for the translation. It runs smoothly on my end. What is your method of translating tyranoscript programs? EDIT: Slight sprite error in END4 (in front of the toilet). Classroom CG appears instead of the proper one Edited February 19, 2021 by Avon (see edit history) Quote Link to comment

EDIT: Slight sprite error in END4 (in front of the toilet). Classroom CG appears instead of the proper one Firstly, unpack the game using arc_unpacker: Quote .\arc_unpacker.exe --dec=microsoft/exe .\xxx.exe This will generate a folder named "xxx~.exe". Secondly, go into that folder and extract a file called "extra_data" with 7-zip or its equivalents. This will get you the Tyrano Builder project of the game. Lastly, install Tyrano Translator and follow its instructions: http://tyranobuilder.com/tyrano-translator/ About my own methods for the last step, it depends on the amount of texts in the game. If it's a small project like this one, I'll use the function "export csv" in Tyrano Translator then open and edit the .csv files with Excel or WPS. After that is copy and paste the Japanese text in the first column into Google Translate then paste the translated text into the second column, lol I know this is rather dumb. Check the number of rows, adjust the translation column if it has less rows than the raw column. Then import the .csv files back in Tyrano Translator. Lastly, press "Preview localized game" in Tyrano Translator then repack the generated preview project located in "trans" folder using Tyrano Builder. (I'm not a game developer so I used a cracked older version of Tyrano Builder to repack the game. This probably leads to minor bugs you just described.) About larger projects, I will use Translator++ and open the .csv files as spreadsheets. But before that, Tyrano Translator meant to export the .csv files in UTF-16 BOM but I always get them in UCS-2 LE BOM instead, which Translator++ can't handle properly... This is the reason I don't always use Translator++. So, Open the .csv files with Notepad++ and convert them to UTF-8 BOM in "Encoding" tab. Do the translation using Translator++ and export translation patch. The patch doesn't have the raw text column, which is unacceptable for Tyrano Translator?! Put the first column of the patch files into the second column of their corresponding raw files, either manually or use something like Pandas library in Python to automate this process. Repack the game. Just use the first method, lol. Tyrano games aren't usually that large anyway. Let me know if you have a better way. P.S. It's been a long while since I did my last translation for a Tyrano game and I forget how to when I just get the request of translating this game. I'd better write it down somewhere before I totally forgot again, lol. Thanks for giving me the oppotunity to do so. When it comes to translation, its all about finding a way to unpack/decrypt the project, convert it into some proper format, do the translation and repack/encrypt it back. If the game cannot be decrypted, use external tools like Textractor or patchers/injectors like ReiPatcher and XUnity.AutoTranslator for Unity games. A full guide like this is usually absent, but the guide and tools for each step are usually out there somewhere. Quote Link to comment

It's just that GitHub started to delete repositories and ban accounts due to DMCA. I'm afraid I'm next in line XD. https://akanetr.github.io/yuko_omo/ Quote Link to comment
