Word of advice. if Mathilda’s battle sprite is a black mess, go into the files, find the graphics folder, find the black sprite, delete it, then find the sprite that looks like Mathilda, and finally rename it to TEST.

Hey, new person to this game here. What is going on in the beginning of the game? First time I played it, I tried talking to a man Edel and pissed herself. Then after a bit, I tried again and actually fought one of the spirits, only for it to very easily beat me and I game over. Is there a way to do that properly, or is failure the only option? Also, the moment I entered the pilgrimage pass after giving the church leader his holy symbol, Edel pissed herself. No warning, no companion dialogue, nothing. Just a nice omo scene with no explanation, even weirder when it showed hydration and bladder levels for Edel, but not the others. Am I being an idiot, or did the game f-up?

The plan is to do one big update sometime this year that will be the rest of the game. The stuff presented in this is about 60% or so of the total playtime.

Also, if anybody is reading this that downloaded it this morning (Feb. 6, 2021) then that version will not start properly because I was using it to fix something. The current version up right now should work.

The save slots have been brought up before and I think I have a script to solve that problem, I just have not tried it yet. A replay system could be interesting if I could make it work.

How do I beat the first part?

Which part are you having difficulty with?

how to solve the puzzle?

Spoiler

Left = 2, Middle = 1, Right = 3 (The very bottom). It them main switch and then move the middle one to the very top.

it's really a good game, but only have 4 save slots really not enough to enjoy it.

make a replay room could record some important events.

You can get extra save slots (sort of) by renaming save files in the directory (probably to something describing where you are), then copying them and renaming them back to Save[n].rxdata (for 0<n<5) when you want to play from that save.

Sorry, I didn't see your post when I made my reply. That was entirely my fault as I left the game in the same state when I was fixing a bug. The newest version should have it all fixed.

That was because I changed the naming system for the bladder images a few months ago and never tested wetting during that part of the game. It's what I get for being a first-time developer.

then?

Go back into the city and then go west all the way to near where the game started. There is another entrance behind the building.

You have to get a crystal from the western underground and give it to the orange shirt man outside the inn to get the hammer.

I have an issue with a missing event.

Spoiler

I was doing the Tehwau swamp part and there's a broken bridge where you're supposed to get a board to fix it so you can jump across. I got sick of running around like a headless chicken and went into the game editor to find out where I'm supposed to get it and I can't find any event that activates the relevant switch anywhere in the swamp maps. Is it actually missing or am I just utterly failing at "Where's Waldo?"

The board is in a map directly south of the cave that Tewau can enter.

There is a bald guy that shows up in the inn once you have the two items. Talk to him.

I've gotten quite a few bugs as I played through.  I'm not done yet, but I'll list the ones I remember here now.  I fixed them in my own game as I went through, but some of them could be game-ending for someone without RPG maker XP.

Sophia can complete most of the steps of the bath scene before telling the front desk that the toilet is broken.  I don't know if she can get all the way, because I realised her bladder wasn't filling and that I was missing a step early on before finishing, but I think she can.

During the last stage of the siege, Sophia won't get or drink water when over 75% bladder.  This may be intended, but if it is it's a design flaw because she can't heal or restore fatigue then unless she gets lucky and the pot spawns, and may be forced to just stand there skipping turns until her soldiers die.

It might be intended, but during Sophia and Kyra's wandering stage, they'd often respawn wet if they returned due to reaching zero fatigue.  I think this was due to a bedwetting function in the bed use common event, which makes sense if they intentionally use the bed while desperate, but it seems weird that they'd return and not even think about whether they should use the toilet before going to bed.

The Scroll of Preservation gets replaced with a Scroll of Victory if Edel tries to use it to learn Splash.

All the toilets in Edel's route thus far (I'm at the mining village right now) turn off bladder processing permanently if you interact with them.

In the bandit hideout in Edel's route, if you don't interact with the door to the chapel until you have the key, it doesn't turn self switch A on, so when you return later after opening the chest, it darkens the screen like you're going into the cutscene, but the undarken function is buried in the cutscene that has already happened so your screen stays permanently dark.

Transporting the ore is impossible, you aren't given enough time to make it from the second minecart to the third or the third to the fourth if you take the shortest route.

This is probably not a complete list - I certainly fixed a few more things while I was playing, but these are the ones that I remember.

EDIT:  Also at one point Kyra got stuck in a cutscene loop after fighting water elementals, where I'd move a few steps and she'd complain that she was leaking repeatedly, but I never worked out why.

EDIT 2:  I just encountered another one where Edel can phase through a house to get the ghost on the roof without a ladder if she approaches the top of the house from the top right corner of the platform and goes down behind the angled bit, then left toward the platform.

EDIT 3:  In the same event as the last one, Edel can jump down the cliff again once the ghost there has been defeated, but she can only jump the fence once, leaving her trapped if she jumps back down.

EDIT:  Edel's Aurlene's Protection skill applies water shield to an enemy, not an ally.
