About This File

Omo Date! is a short omorashi themed visual novel about a girl who becomes desperate to pee while in the middle of a date.  Will she make it to a bathroom in time, or will she wet her pants in an embarrassing fashion? You can probably guess the outcome.

I've been a fan of visual novels for a while and wanted to try making one myself, so sometime last year I started drawing up character models with the intentions to make one. Unfortunately, I had no idea how to make a visual novel.  I got caught in the trap of trying to make everything "perfect" that I didn't make much progress for a while. Eventually, I decided to just accept that this is a learning experience and I finished making the story and finished making the thing work. While there's still a lot I'm not happy with (There's no music, story still feels off, no models besides MC, backgrounds rushed), I think I've learned a lot. I'm sure my next attempt will be much better!

This is free, mostly because I think it's too short and unpolished to charge for. I'm also still unsure if my art is even good enough to monetize, so I want to practice a lot more before I even consider putting price tags on things.

Also, let me know if there any issues with the game or the download, and I'll try to fix them. I've never worked with Ren'py before, so I'm sure there might be something I've missed.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy! Let me know what you like and don't like about it so I can continue to improve my content!

I really liked the simplistic artwork and the wetting itself was really sexy, especially the part where Jennifer first leaks in her panties. Thanks for adding hissing pee sounds, not enough wetting videos have hissing in them. Personally, I'd love to see more of the Jennifer character in the future that is if you ever intend on continuing to use her.

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you liked it! My biggest problems when reading pee scenes in visual novels is the lack of good sfx during the peeing. Sometimes they don't even have sound for them at all, which imo defeats the whole purpose of having a visual novel. So even if I didn't have any music, I really wanted to include peeing sounds. Especially hissing ones! I'm glad you enjoyed them as well~

As for more of Jennifer... I'm not particularly against the idea, as I had a lot of fun drawing her. Though, I don't really have any good ideas for another story involving her. If anything, it would probably just be standalone pictures. We'll see, though!

This looks like a fun visual novel but unfortunately i only have my phone no mac or pc.

To be honest, I had never even considered making a mobile version. I went back to see if I could make a port on Ren'py, but I'm having troubles with configuring the project. I also previewed it to see how it would look in mobile, and while the assets aren't as bad as I thought, it still looks a little weird scaled for mobile. I'm also not sure how to hide text boxes on mobile so it would be hard to see certain cg as well. As expected, I'm a total noob at this stuff.

In short, I'm, unfortunately, probably unable to make a mobile version, unless I can figure out how to configure the thingy. Sorry!

It's ok if you've confirmed it works on mobile then I'll give it a try

Oh, I didn't mean it works on mobile. On Ren'py, it allows you to emulate what it would look like on mobile (presumably to make sure the assets look right on the smaller screen). I wasn't actually able to make it work on mobile. Sorry for the confusion!

I'll keep looking into how to make a mobile port!

I love this, need way more omorashi games. Been a whil since we had any choose your own adventure stuff either.

I definitely agree that there is a need for more omorashi content, especially for visual novels. Hopefully I can begin to fill the gaps!

I'm also a fan of visual novels with a lot of branching paths, so stuff like that is definitely on my list of things to incorporate into my future stuff!

Thank you for your comment!

great little game!

I'm no native speaker so I wonder why Taylor is talked about in plural all the time?

Thank you for the praise!

You're not imagining it, I did that on purpose. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to make them a boy or a girl, so I just gave them a gender neutral name and pronouns and kind of left it up to the player's imagination.  I suppose it can be confusing, but I hope it wasn't too distracting! It doesn't seem I did too well with clarity this time around.

As a lesbian, I appreciated that Taylor was referred to with they/them pronouns. There might be a way to give users an option (e.g. "my date is with a man/woman/non-binary person" choice) but I imagine that would be pretty complicated. There was one point at the fountain where I noticed Taylor was referred to as a "him" though btw.

It was fun and I really enjoyed her desperation during the walk. Having choices like "go behind a tree" vs. "try to wait until we get to the bathroom" might have been fun too, but all in all great job, especially for a first VN.

I'm glad that you found that to be a good thing! There was a time where I was considering giving up the idea of making the pronouns neutral, due to the potential confusion, so I had started replacing the theys with hims. but then I changed my mind again and it would appear I had forgotten to put them all back. I'm a little sad I missed them, but I have fixed it in the script and will update it soon!

I think my inexperience Ren'py was the main force behind why the VN is so static. I wasn't really even sure how to get things formatted at first, so for a while I was struggling trying to make things functional. By the time I kinda got the hang of the software, things were more or less decided. While I'm sad I wasn't able to make things more interactive, it makes me optimistic since I have a bunch of ideas with what I could do in the future!

Thank you again for your feedback, I hope to make my next project something even better!

Thank you so much for making a mobile version, you are a goddamn hero

No problem! I'll be sure to include mobile versions for my future works as well.  I can't promise that I'll make them look great on mobile, but I will do my best to make them functional, at least.
