About This File

This is a 32bit windows game which automatically generates pee holding challenges. If you want to pee, you have to ask the game's permission. Sometimes it will let you pee, and sometimes it won't let you pee. If the game doesn't let you pee, you have to wait a bit before asking again. The more times you're denied permission to pee, the more likely it is that you'll be given permission to pee, next time you ask. Also, every time you ask permission to pee, the game makes you drink a certain amount of water before it decides whether or not you can pee. Feel free to offer any suggestions regarding how it can be improved, such as if it needs higher difficulty settings, or if it has any bugs in it, or if there's any other features you'd like it to have, or whatever. If any of you actually play this game, I'd love to hear what you think of it and if there's any ways you think it could be improved.

What's New in Version 2.1

Released

This is Version 2.1 of "Can I Pee?".

Changes in Version 1.1:

The unit of measurement for drinks has been changed from pints to half-liters, to prevent confusion between British and American pints.

The maximum difficulty level has been increased substantially in order to accommodate people with extreme bladder capacities. In Version 1.0, at the highest difficulty level, the maximum number of times you could be denied permission to pee was twelve. In Version 1.1, the maximum number of denies has been increased to twenty. At the lowest difficulty level, the maximum number of times you can be denied permission to pee, is still one.

The odds of the game giving you permission to pee before you've been denied at or near the maximum number of times allowed based on the difficulty settings you've chosen, are much lower in Version 1.1 than they were in Version 1.0. This means that the difficulties of the pee-holding challenges the game creates, will now be much more consistently toward the upper end of the maximum difficulty allowed based on the difficulty settings you choose. This allows you to much more precisely control the difficulties of the pee-holding challenges the game creates, although the exact difficulty of any given pee-holding challenge the game creates, is still somewhat random.

Changes in Version 1.1.1:

The text in the introduction has been updated to reflect that the unit of measurement for drinks has been changed from pints to half-liters. When I made that change in Version 1.1, I neglected to update the text in the introduction.

The text on the difficulty settings adjustment panel now includes a clarification of just what the maximum and minimum difficulties actually are.

I've also fixed a few other minor issues with the text on the difficulty adjustment panel.

Changes in Version 2.0:

The game now helps you keep track of how well you're doing holding in your pee, by giving you gradually more and more gold stars as you overcome gradually more and more difficult pee holding challenges. The game also takes away your gold stars and replaces them with black stars, when you lose pee holding challenges which you previously won.

In this version, you're only allowed to adjust the game's difficulty setting the first time you play. After that, the game automatically adjusts the difficulty setting each time you play, constantly trying to push your bladder past its previous limits, but easing up on your bladder if you're losing control of it too often.

The user interface has been updated in various way to reflect these changes.

When you run the .exe file, it prompts you to empty your bladder before playing the game. This is to make your pee holding ability more consistent from one session to the next. If you don't empty your bladder before playing the game, it's impossible for the game to reliably find an appropriate difficulty setting for you.

Changers in Version 2.1:

The game can now be run either in windowed mode or in full-screen mode, and it starts in windowed mode.

When you're denied permission to pee, there's now a timer which counts down the number of minutes left until you're once again allowed to ask permission to pee.

Is this any different from this:

Yes. The basic idea is similar. However, this game generates pee holding challenges by a different mechanism. Also, this game has a finely adjustable difficulty setting, and although there's some variation in the exact difficulty of the pee holding challenges this game generates, it will never be more difficult than allowed based on the exact difficulty setting you choose. More often than not the actually difficulty will be a little bit lower than the maximum difficulty allowed based on the setting you choose, but it won't generally be much lower, and will still occasionally be the maximum allowed based on the setting you choose. This game was certainly inspired by the Omo Trainer you referenced. However, I didn't like the fact that the difficulties of the pee holding challenges created by the original Omo Trainer were so random and uncontrollable. The way the original Omo Trainer was designed, the odds of it giving you permission to pee actually decreased each time you were denied permission. That seemed rather unfair to me, because it meant the challenges the original Omo Trainer generated would virtually always either be too easy, or else unfairly difficult. Consequently, I created this game, which fulfills a similar function as the Omo Trainer, but the difficulty of which can be much more precisely predicted and controlled. Of course, I still gave the game a little bit of randomness to keep you guessing. However, it shouldn't have the wild, uncontrollable and unpredictable variation in difficulty that the original Omo Trainer had. Instead, you should be able to find the exact difficulty level which is appropriate for you, and then so long as you set the difficulty setting appropriately at the start of each game, the "Can I Pee?" game should generate a pee-holding challenge of approximately the appropriate difficulty for you every time you play, instead of the challenges being ridiculously easy sometimes, and unfairly hard at other times. Currently I'm working on a feature which will keep track of the difficulty levels of the pee holding challenges you've won, and reward you with a gold star every time you win a more difficult pee holding challenge than you've won before, and punish you with a black star every time you lose a pee holding challenge that you've previously won. The idea is that it will help motivate you to keep pushing yourself farther. If I finish that, then I might consider adding an AI trainer which will automatically increase the difficulty if you're not wetting yourself often enough, and decrease the difficulty if you're wetting yourself too much. Perhaps I'll include a feature which allows you to pre-select just how hard the trainer pushes you to improve from one session to the next.
