About This File

Plot Outline

While enjoying a field trip, five ordinary students suddenly find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar world. But it soon turns out that they might not be quite as ordinary as they thought!

You play as Reguma, schoolboy and RPG expert, as he leads his four cute schoolgirl classmates through a grand adventure in a fantastical realm, battling against demon hoards and fulfilling an ancient prophecy. But facing long treks, exhausting fights and sticky situations, will these girls be able to keep their underwear dry?

My Game Won't Work!

PLEASE READ. You may see an error like this:

Hi everyone, and sorry for the inactivity.

@lanceafate Normally I'd recommend JoiPlay, it's available through Google Play and has worked well for Moji and other RPGs. However, there's an issue with it that I'll discuss here.

@Theloneone @CookeWawa It appears there's an issue with the most recent JoiPlay update (1.00.30) seems to have an issue with launcher itself. Worked once for me, enough to notice the new buttons, and I haven't been able to launch it since. Haven't tested it with other games recently. So it seems like our options are to either wait for an update, or downgrade to the last stable version, which I believe was 1.00.13. However, that will likely mean going through APKPure, which might be a hassle for some.

Also, CookeWawa, my JoiPlay still places my save files directly in the main folder. It may be possible they've changed that in this update, but I don't see what reason they'd have. I'll have to wait until I reach the point you mentioned to see that glitch, however I manage to get the app working.

I'll try to keep things more up-to-date moving forwards.

Alright, if anyone's having issue with the latest JoiPlay update (1.00.30), then it seems your only solution is to downgrade. Thankfully that's pretty straightforward.

1. Download the APK files I've attached below.

2. Go into your Apps list and uninstall RPG Maker Plugin (which will be under R, not J) and JoiPlay. Don't worry, your saves should be fine as long as you don't store them in any of JoiPlay's actual files for some reason.

3. Install APKPure from the file attached below (tap on it in your file explorer app, it may also prompt an update when you open it).

4. Install JoiPlay and RPG Plugin in that order. This can be done with the files I've attached or through the APKPure app itself. JUST MAKE SURE that your JoiPlay version is 1.00.15 and the Plugin is 1.00.09. These are the most recent functional versions I know of right now, and you can find them on APKPure listed under their respective apps' "Version History" section.

That's all, your JoiPlay app should work now. There's still a pretty long startup time for Moji, and you'll need to reset your button layout (all you'll need is Enter, Escape, Left_Shift, A, S, W, and Z).

Hope this works for y'all!

Please help. I can just full on not run it. I double click the exe, nothing. I run in administrator, nothing. I change my locale, nothing. It's not even that it boots and crashes, just no Window pops up AT ALL. Please help.

I've kinda hit a brick wall here when it comes to getting this running.

I set my laptop's region to Japan, made sure to re-download the game files, the uncensor patch, all the RTPs, and the RGSS files linked here earlier, and then extracted all of the above with 7Zip, but for some reason, no window will pop up for the game, and most of the game's file names are showing up as complete gibberish, as seen in the screenshot below.

I feel like I saw someone earlier in the thread have the gibberish name issue, but with the Japanese language pack installed, the laptop's region being set to Japan, and with everything being downloaded and extracted after I made those changes, I'm not sure what could be causing this.

Welp, I managed to break through the brick wall, and it was with the most obvious solution imaginable.

In the screenshot about the locale earlier, it showed Trash changing the region settings on their computer to Japanese in the Control Panel, however, I wrongly assumed that by changing them in the Settings app on my computer, it'd change how my computer would process the game's files and let me run Japanese programs. However, changing it in system settings only changed the surface level, and the files still didn't scan properly. Now that I've changed the region in the Administrative tab on the Control Panel, the game's actually booting up.

So, if you're a windows 10 user like me, be absolutely sure to change your locale from the Control Panel, not the Settings application with the gear icon; the control panel is required to get the game running.

So yeah, with that solved, my only problems are that the game won't display in fullscreen, and the opening CG replaced the ship they were sailing on with one drawn in MS Paint, lol.

Have you extracted the zip file before running? It won't run if still in an archive.

I don't know if this will help anyone, but in order to get the file names to be correct, I had to hit Ctrl + E after opening Winrar and selecting Japanese, which then allowed the files to extract with the correct characters.  Other unzip programs should work the same way.

Yeah, I have. I extracted it using 7zip.

Alright, as of this comment's upload, the current versions of JoiPlay (1.00.31) and its accompanying RPGMaker Plugin (1.01.20) run Mojikue well. Thankfully they don't have the issue of the last version that prevented it from loading (and no more annoying pop-up ads, just a banner on the library screen). So no need currently to use the APKPure method I mentioned before.

To those with the "script hung up" error: I managed to temporarily solve this problem by changing the library and scripts entries in Game.ini to their full path. Instead of "RGSS104J.dll", it will look more like C:\Users\You\Downloads\Mojique\RGSS104J.dll. It was only a temporary fix, as the problem unfortunately resurfaced while I was half way through the game. Not sure what happened there.

For those who absolutely cannot get the game to run for whatever reason, mkxp-z can be used to force it to run. I haven't extensively tested it yet, but setup is very easy. You just need to change mkxp.json's "RTP" from //"RTP"(fakelinks) to "RTP"(your actual RTP directory)

Link to comment

Oh! You will also need a soundfont and Fluidsynth to play the midi music. Download and extract Fluidsynth and copy the contents of the "bin" folder to your Mojique folder. Take this provided soundfont, copy it to your audio folder or whichever place you are comfortable with, and change the path in mkxp.json accordingly. It is missing some instruments from RPGmaker, so it's just a placeholder until someone comes up with a better soundfont. But it mostly works fine.

So I did what you told me @FluidDynamic12, but it gave me the good old graphics titles error

That's almost always down to the files not unpacking correctly. Check the files in your file explorer app and see if any of the symbols are changed to ? shapes. If you're not already, I recommend Xiaomi's "File Manager" app, it allows you to extract the files specifically in Shift_JIS encoding. Has to be that type (you can select it from the menu that pops up when you tap the zip). The auto-encoding may miss some of the files. That's the solution for the vast majority of graphic title errors I've faced so far. If you're already using that method, then screenshot the error message and try to track down the offending file in your folders.

Every time i try to load up the game it says "RGSS-RTP Standard" and ive tried everything i could , i put locale to japan in both control panel and settings , i got all the rpg makers things . Im stuck , does anyone know whats going on?

Link to comment

What app is that?

I know that on PC, that error usually means the filenames got mangled during extraction. The fix for that would be to first change your locale to Japanese, then extract from the zip file again. If you're not sure if this is what happened, you can check by going in to Graphics/Pictures and looking for garbled filenames (they should be quite prominent).

If you only have mobile though, I'm not sure how you're going to change locale.

Theyre using JoiPlay.

This solution for this is to extract the ZIP with Xaomi's file explorer, make sure to set the encoding to JIS. Fluid has a comment somewhere here on how to do it exactly.

I just noticed that the max level thanatos skill is named schwarzlose, I think that might be a translation error as it means black-less in german I think it was supposed to mean schwarzrose (black rose) altough that's just a thought of mine (am german btw)

I assume you're talking about Mt Mahai being an empty black void. Which sadly confirms that it's an issue with Neko and not just my bad luck.

You'll need a video to help you navigate it. I would've linked @hiderisan's video, but they seem to have disappeared from YouTube. So, use

instead  (and possibly the next video if needed). Start at about the 15 minute mark.

It seems that the glitch is in NekoRPG itself, and as of yet I haven't been able to get Mojikue running on JoiPlay (which is strange considering it can run games Neko can't), so we'll just have to deal with it. Don't worry though, after you pass through this first time, the game will allow you other ways to get through a bit further on in the story. When you inevitably reach the few other spots that seem corrupted in extreme ways, you'll just have to refer to a video to help you through, if one's available.

But I'm happy my method to play the game does at least work! Good luck moving forward.

P.S. Regarding your comment about the pee scenes on the finished save file: Unless you can unlock a pee scene gallery when you finish the game, you can't go back and replay the events from a finished save. You'll have to play through the game and make alternate saves when prompted before events.

I'm... not using NekoRPG, and this happened to me. Whyyyy? 😧 Can somebody please help me with this? The black void glitch never happened to me before, but since I redownloaded the game and transferred the save files to my new computer, it happened. A lot of the Mt. Mahai section is all black. I can see things fine up until, like, the landslide, but a lot of it is just black.

EDIT: I'm not on Android either. x-x The void is still there though!

EDIT 2: I figured it out, sorry. I guess I just had to re-transfer the tilesets over. Odd.

Feels like every comment on this is asking for a bug fix, but I'mma add to that problem. I had to redownload this game since I got a new computer, and this error shows up upon opening the game. If this has been asked before, I greatly apologize. I didn't see it covered before though. If anyone could help me out with this, that would be greatly appreciated. Because I got no idea.

EDIT: Feel like I should also mention that I tried changing the system region, and it didn't work.
