About This File

Plot Outline

While enjoying a field trip, five ordinary students suddenly find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar world. But it soon turns out that they might not be quite as ordinary as they thought!

You play as Reguma, schoolboy and RPG expert, as he leads his four cute schoolgirl classmates through a grand adventure in a fantastical realm, battling against demon hoards and fulfilling an ancient prophecy. But facing long treks, exhausting fights and sticky situations, will these girls be able to keep their underwear dry?

Thanks. So there is no fix for the black tiles? darn Okay then.

There is a playthrough for the mountain zone, as there is a lets play on youtube for the whole demo. But the pyramid is not part of the demo, and there is no playthrough for the full game. I don't know anything about these "gates", the room i'm in has a pitch black floor and you literally have to walk a certain path throught the room or you get teleported back, similar to the statues puzzle in the guardians castle, but longer, more complicated, and I have no idea where the "statues" are. I eventually found my way through the rom, only to find out the hallway beyond (which I can't see the end of) follows the same rules, so I'll basically be trying for hours if I want to get through.

If anyone has anything that might help, screenshots, a short playthrough video of that part or even a save file after the pyramid, It would be greatly appreciated. I may grind for hours just to get through the hall, but I'll probably just give up for now.

Thanks for the response!

EDIT: Also, what is the difference with the 1.0.0 version? I got the version that came before that and want to update but don't want to have to edit so many picture files again, so If it's nothing substantial I think I'll pass.

Oh yeah! and I was super excited that Ria from Aquarius made a cameo appearance as a spirit! I've played what was released of that game and loved it and hope it gets continued one day...

R.I.P. Aquarius...

Sorry (to anyone who cares) for the absence, had some processes with ISPs to get through.

But also HOLY HELL VERSION 1.0! Been waiting so long, I can't believe it's finally done. With this being (presumably) the last version, I'll modify the Pictures folder and upload that, which will hopefully remedy the whole "black background" issue for anyone else. It'll be nice to finally finish this game, I'm looking forward to seeing everything complete.

Cookie, I'll be honest I don't really remember what area you're talking about. But if you weren't able to navigate it, go ahead and upload the save file here and I'll try to get past it and then upload the advanced save. Alternately, I'll at least know which save beyond that point to send.

Fantastic work everyone! Very happy to see the day this wonderful project is finally finished.

Alright so, speedbump alert. Not surprisingly, the Pictures folder size, even when zipped, exceeds Omoorg's file size limit that I'd forgotten about. The next step that I can think of here is to have @trashゴミ upload their original Pictures folder as a 7Zip file (perhaps that can prevent the issue with the download, rather then a regular ZIP file).

If they do so, Android users will need the ZArchiver app (or a similar 7Zip app). Tap the downloaded file, then "Extract..." and navigate to Mojikue's Graphics folder. Extract it there and name it Pictures (you should rename the existing Pictures folder instead of deleting it, just in case of any errors).

So for now, we'll just have to wait and see if they think that plan could work.

Hey @FluidDynamic12, can I recommend you download any images you think you need from https://github.com/trashgomi/mojique-translation/tree/master/mojikue ver1.44/Graphics

These folders do not contain all the images, only the translated ones. Take the original Japanese release and copy the translated images in, overwriting everything. Doing this, you might be able to circumvent any issues caused by my zipping process.

I'd recommend uploading to https://mega.nz/ to avoid upload restrictions. If you get me an archive that you think will solve the issue, I can upload it here.

Trash was right, a Mega link seems like the best course of action. Here's the link for the modified Pictures folder:

https://mega.nz/file/s1AizDQK#q_BNb-m_QX3vNOwa8S5Z39qxxZKCPO_Lw7D90375_Gc

Remember to use ZArchiver on Android to unzip the folder alongside Moji's existing Pictures folder, rename that one something like "Pictures2", and name this one "Pictures".

Hopefully this solves our sprite transparency issue, but only testing will tell.

Hi Fluid. I just tested your picture files. First of all, thank you for going through all this effort.

The good news is, the sprite transparency issuues appear to have resolved. Usualy when I look at my currency I can only see the first digit. Now I can see them all. I have not checked other sprited but assume its the same all throughout.

The only bad news is (But I'm not sure if its supposed to be fixed or not) the black tile (black ground) Is still there. Or, at least in the area I'm in, the desert temple.

I've attached a screenshot and save file, I dont know if you know a way around it but the desert temple is near impossible with the glitch.

Once again, thank you so much for this.

Hi Cookie,

Glad to hear the image swap worked! I'm not exactly sure what caused the initial issue, but if the currency and menu images no longer have black boxes, that bodes well for the rest. All in all there were a little over 1,000 images that needed modification, the majority of them being attack animation overlays (the special effects like fire). More disconcerting ones were the girls' standing picture details, such as the tears (which are pretty darn creepy on their own lol). Most of the conversions were done with a rough makeshift code I ran on my computer, so thankfully it wasn't all manual.

As for the second issue, I might have some good news here in the next few days, we'll have to wait to see how good though. In the meantime, I can take a crack at progressing your save to a more visible spot.

You're welcome for the help, but moreso thank you for the feedback on these fixes and to Trash and everyone else who's worked on this project!

Thanks so much for the help! So I suppose the tile glitch is a problem with Neko and not something that can be fixed. Darn.

Thank you for offering to help me with that area. If progress cant be made, thats fine, thanks for trying. Once again thanks for all the effort!

No problem @Cookiewawa!, and you're right about it being an issue with Neko. In that regard...

Fantastic news everyone!!

JoiPlay now supports Mojikue! It's now officially on the Google Play Store, and runs Moji perfectly fine. Just install JoiPlay and the RPG Player Plugin (in that order), and add Moji through the app's game selector.

Read these notes about JoiPlay:

There's good, bad, and very bittersweet news that comes with this capability.

The Good: You can now play Moji on mobile with all of the intended features, meaning us mobile players can actually use the map now! Even better, the "black void" and invisible objects glitch is no longer an issue!! That was some sort of issue with NekoRPG, because from what I've determined, it's simply just not that great of an emulator. No more uncrossable maps, missing obstacles, or anything like that! Also, JoiPlay allows for cheats, although Moji is only set up to allow you to level up and give yourself Ren. Still cool if you just want to mess around though.

The Bad: This may be very bad, a minor inconvenience, or a new starting point for you, literally. I'm not really sure why, but NekoRPG Mojikue saves won't work with JoiPlay. They just don't, loading one will crash immediately. So, you'll have to start over. OR, use one of the saves I've attached below (more on that in a minute). While this is an inconvenience, if you're like me and had just been jumping saves over to updated versions as they were released, and hadn't finished yet, it's a great opportunity to go back and experience the whole thing properly from the start again. So that's what I'd encourage.

The Bittersweet: I mentioned above that NekoRPG isn't a fantastic emulator, and that's especially evident when, like me, you realize that Neko doesn't support additive sprites (sprites that light up what's behind them, like fire). And, for me, that meant that all those sprites I edited were for nothing. I had kinda suspected it, but there really is nothing wrong with Moji's sprite folder, no botched decompression or anything, it's just Neko's failure to display them properly. Which sucks, but it also means that you don't have to worry about modifying the Pictures folder. They work fine as-is. So, very cool, but in a kinda crushing way.

So, in conclusion, go grab JoiPlay if you want to experience masterpiece in all its glory on Android. If you don't want to start over, grab one of these saves:

Save4: Saved right after getting Hime. You'll have 4 Spirit Orbs, none of which have been used so you can unlock what you want with them.

Saves 5-7: Hamuko, Nyanko, and Tomocchi's first omo events (I'll eventually upload a full folder of every event when I complete the game).

So, enjoy! I'll likely make a new thread eventually to give the whole installation process in detail.

Thanks for sharing the good news! I'll probably wait till all events are released as saves so I can get to the point nearst to where I was, but maybe I'll start over. Thanks a million!

I see one comment claiming it doesent work, but we'll see what happens.

Which version of the app are you using? I have it running fine on versions 1.00.15 and 1.00.12 on Android 10 (for future reference, 1.00.14 immediately crashes upon using the file selector, which was the reason for .15). And, when you launched Moji you should've been prompted to install an RPG package, which you did, right? Just so I know what all's going on on your end.

Note: Meant to include this in my last comment, but Moji takes a good ~30+ seconds to load, the screen will be black with just the buttons appearing until it loads fully.

That sounds fair, and I wonder if it'd be better to upload those saves here as I reach them or keep an updated Mega, or maybe just include them in the installation tutorial and update them there? I'm gonna take my time with the playthrough overall, so it'll be a little while before I finish it.

First off, congratulations on fully translating the game! Remember back when you released a patch that uncensored the hot springs scene? Is it at all possible for you to either provide it here on the thread or tell me where I could find it on SubscribeStar? If so, I would greatly appreciate it.
