About This File

Plot Outline

While enjoying a field trip, five ordinary students suddenly find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar world. But it soon turns out that they might not be quite as ordinary as they thought!

You play as Reguma, schoolboy and RPG expert, as he leads his four cute schoolgirl classmates through a grand adventure in a fantastical realm, battling against demon hoards and fulfilling an ancient prophecy. But facing long treks, exhausting fights and sticky situations, will these girls be able to keep their underwear dry?

Summary

The project was officially completed on the 10th of September, 2020 with the help of many contributors and supporters! The GitHub page for the translation can be found here.

Please find the original Japanese version here.

My Game Won't Work!

PLEASE READ. You may see an error like this:

error.jpg.21698dbb685ab0cccee0234338e0a8ea.jpg

If so, please follow the instructions below to allow Japanese games to be supported on a non-Japanese Windows PC. Not following these steps is the cause of many error messages encountered when trying to play this game.

locale.thumb.png.77ecd5a288e7ea260392bcb003d59717.png

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel and go to the Clock and Region section
  2. Click on the Region link
  3. Switch to the Administrative tab
  4. Click on Change system locale...
  5. Open the Current system locale drop down and select Japanese (Japan)
  6. Click OK on the open dialogs, then restart your system

There has also been plenty of discussion around technical issues in this file's comments section already, so please search around before asking.

I have tested copying my save from the 0.1 version to the 0.1.1 version and it is completely compatable.

so no need to start all over from  every revision folks XD

I would recommend exiting and reentering the area you saved in if you want to be certain that area is up to date.

Technical explanation: In short, this is because save files save a copy of the map they are in. When loading from a save, the game will use this copy over what's in the game files. Map transitions load the map from the game files. Thus, exiting then reentering the map by a map transition will make the game use the correct version of the map.

This is a serious undertaking - a translation of Mojique would probably be the crowning achievement of this omo generation.

I wish everyone working on this great fortune.

And the little whoosh thing? That's such a great detail I love that whoosh

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the woosh but I'm pretty happy with it for now.

With the new update, we're finally able to go beyond the borders of DemoMojique. It feels like a pretty crazy milestone to be honest, I mean how many years has it been?

If i'm not mistaking, august 2014, so more than 5 years

They've gone past the ending point of the old demo?

This is advancing nicely, I should probably give it a try then.

Did you extract the game in Japanese Locale? If you extract the files otherwise, then they become corrupted and won't work right. Otherwise, try running the game using a Locale Emulator.

I'm having a similar problem: Whenever I try to launch the game, even after extracting it with the Japanese locale, it won't start at all. Not even a popup

I've actually written a blog post with a troubleshooting guide for this kind of issue. From what you've described, I would recommend trying the steps under "Wrong locale - File extraction"

Seeing this caused me to check and realize that I did make an error in my original writing of my blog post, so I've made an updated version (linked above). If you are indeed extracting it with the Japanese locale, you should be able to run it using the Japanese locale. You can verify if you've indeed extracted with the Japanese locale by looking in the graphics folder and seeing if any of the images in the "pictures" folder (e: the "characters" folder works too) have incomprehensible names (like âAâNâA_000.png or  kt01é═é▐é▒_000.png)

None of the images' names are incomprehensible in either folder, and yet the game still refuses to launch

I have a theory....

*tests theory by downloading from this page*

Nope, this is packed as Japanese, like I (prematurely) assumed.

Are you, perhaps, not running the game in Japanese? This version of RPG Maker is rather picky about locales.

Yep, I'm running it under a Japanese locale, that's what's so frustrating about this. The untranslated version of the game launches fine, too

So, I tried playing ahead of the demo slightly and got up to the Tomocchi event with the ghost ship, but every time I try to complete it, an error message pops up saying that an ME audio file is corrupted or missing or something. Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks for this report. I have probably left a file out of the upload. Could you please take a screenshot?

I've attached a zip to this post that contains an ME folder. You can drag that ME folder into the Audio folder of the game to add the missing files. This will also be fixed for future versions of the translation!

How do I transfer my saves from 1.2 to 2.4?

Simply copy all save files (Save1.rxdata to Save32.rxdata) from the root directory of the old version into the root of the new version.
